"The front desk had a very average attitude. When I asked her for disposable slippers (hotels in Germany don't provide them proactively, but if you need them, just let the front desk know and they will provide them), she replied with a poker face: ”We don't have them.” I asked three times, and she gave the same answer three times. Finally, after repeated communication, I called a colleague to send a pair.
The room is modern and simple, and it's OK. But, 1. There is no table. 2. There is no electric kettle"

"On the way to Munich via Leipzig, I checked into a relatively new basic business hotel. However, at 4 o'clock in the night, the hotel alarm system failed. It is estimated that about 150 people ran out of the hotel in the middle of the night. Around 0 degrees, 3-4 fire trucks and 3-4 fire trucks left after 30-40 minutes with no results. Stay The guest returned and continued to sleep until the checkout in the morning. No one apologized."

"This hotel is very close to the Leipzig main railway station and also convenient for public transportation within the city. It has a great breakfast buffet with even vegetarian and vegan options!
The staff is friendly and helpful and if you’re a tourist you are within easy walking distance to many of the famous attractions in the old town, too."

"Despite not speaking English or German, all the hotel staff, from the breakfast area to the front desk, were incredibly kind and made my stay very comfortable and stress-free. The location was absolutely perfect, right in front of the Opera House and Gewandhaus. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good spread of vegetables, fruits, fried and scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, drinks, and mixed salads. My only minor suggestion would be to add three or four unique cooked dishes characteristic of Leipzig. I stayed for three nights, and I was informed there would be no room cleaning during that time. This meant I could go out sightseeing without having to worry about tidying up my room, which I found quite relaxing and convenient."

"We were going to a gig at the nearby Haus Ansee and this was the closest hotel.
Wonderful receptionist on Sat and Sunday morning who was so helpful!
We managed to check in early(not guaranteed)and the room was lovely and comfortable.
The parking garage for our hire car worked well and we left it when we got the tram into town.
Cannot fault the breakfast at all and just generally all the service we received.
Nothing not to like except I miss a tea/coffee tray but maybe this isn’t something that happens in bc Grr we nan hotels.
Don’t hesitate….value for money!
Picture is of the tram…5-6 mins walk and approx 20 mins into centre of town every 15 minutes ish"

"very downtown in the middle of the main shopping area. Has free coffee and tea 24/7. Very friendly staff, helpful & polite. Rooms are fairly small but clean and totally fine for a couple of days when you’re coming for business etc. Interior design not really my taste but that’s subjective."

"A nostalgic old-style hotel with a good location, very close to Leipzig Central Station, 5 minutes drive from Leipzig Zoo, and opposite a shopping mall, it is very convenient for eating and shopping. The breakfast variety is not very large but the quality is not bad, all kinds of bread, cheese, German sausage, cereal, mainly Western breakfast, there is a Chinese dim sum every day (siomai, shrimp dumplings, vegetarian dumplings). The hotel's underground parking lot is easy to find, but the entrance and exit are narrow, requiring skills, and paid parking (25 euros per day)."

AAnonymous UserThe first two pics you'll see the incredible proximity between Hyperion and the train station and mall. I was exhausted that day so it was super good that the hotel is 1-minute walk from the station! If you want to go to the city center (shopping street or St. Thomas church), it's only a simple 10-15 min walk. A smiley and kind blonde lady checked me in, she was really helpful and genuine. As for the room, it was modern and clean. Highly recommend!

spacious, has fully equipped kitchen, but no hoover, with warning that one shall not produce smoke/steam, as the detector is directly connected to the fire station, and warms about fine it would cause.
Need to clean the kitchen, otherwise fine 50 euro.
Cleaning team needs better briefing and communication. Room door was opened by cleaning staff twice before check out time.
Free tea and coffee available at nice lobby lounge.

GGuest UserNot a great experience overall. Location is not directly off any public transportation line so bear in mind lugging luggage on cobblestone can be very taxing. Service was slow at check-in. Only one staff was there in the evening, and a short queue formed to check-in while waiting for the staff to get off the phone. At check-in, room was automatically assigned via iPad, which was not a courtyard view as advertised on Trip.com, but rather a view of the garbage dump (from room 101). Went back down to ask for a change of room, and 45 frustrating minutes later, the front desk said it was because of the room category and “offered to upgrade” for 20 euros additional per night. After travelling for a long time, I didn’t want to waste any more time with a back and forth as to why Trip.com advertised a courtyard view, and the hotel gave me a garbage dump view instead, so I obliged. The new room however, was much better with a view of the Thomaskirche opposite, a lot more internal space, and a mini kitchenette.

GGuest UserEl lugar tiene unas buenas habitaciones, aisladas del ruido exterior, con cortinas y una estructura que no molesta a quienes duermen abajo por quienes están en la cama de arriba. La cocina está bien equipada. Los baños tienen buen espacio y son completos. Los espacios comunes son buenos sin embargo no son tan cómodos si uno quiere estar fuera de la habitación por bastante tiempo. El aseo de los baños, especialmente de las duchas puede mejorar. Pero en términos generales es un muy buen hostel. Tiene cerca transporte público y almacenes para comprar comida así como restaurantes.

There is a large shopping mall, supermarket, and a restaurant across the street from the hotel, which is extremely convenient. The hotel is well managed and the staff can promptly meet the various needs of the residents. It is a good choice for high-quality tourist accommodation.

TtorinessThis property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.

There is a commercial area nearby, and shopping is convenient. The hotel room is clean and quiet, but the room is not too big, the bed is relatively narrow, and there are no facilities such as kettles and refrigerators. The hotel room rate is more than 600 yuan per day. A 10-minute walk to the south of the hotel is St. Thomas Church, where the famous music master Bach served for 30 years. In front of the door stands a bronze statue of Bach. His tomb is in the church, and his former residence is opposite the church. For lovers of European classical music, this hotel is a good choice when traveling to Leipzig.

Smelled of sewage in the bathroom. Weird interior design with huge glasswall between bed and bathroom is very unpractical at night with all the light going to wake others who are sleeping.
