"Have stayed here 4 times in the last couple of years. Price paid is good value for setting, location, spa facilities but the rooms are definitely looking tired. Was upgraded once and there was a huge difference in the general cleanliness and decor of the room. General house and communal areas are stunning and grand but rooms under any ‘deals’ are quite basic and are very far from the reception and facilities so not so good if mobility could be an issue. Overall it ticks a lot of boxes for a familiar and convenient one night stay."

"Loved my room. Location is conveniently right smack in the city centre. Stayed here for my exam, the centre is right across the road. Clean, spacious room with comfy bed. Checking in was slow because of the traffic of people that just happened to also be checking in the same time i do, but the staff did everything they could to speed things up by opening all counters for checking in. I would stay here again"

"Stayed in twin room on second floor. Check in was easy, staff really friendly and service excellent. Room was lovely. Comfortable and quiet. Good facilities and shower was fantastic. No hot buffet breakfast, but you ordered from a menu. Portions small but very tasty. There was a cold continental style buffet. The young lady who served us both mornings was delightful. Nothing too much trouble. Wish I had taken her name to name drop her specifically on this review! Location was excellent. Around 5 mins walk from the station and 2 mins walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars etc. When checking out at 11, the hotel allowed us to keep our bags there until 6pm as our train wasn't until early evening. Saved us a bad back carrying them around! All in all, excellent stay and would be my first choice hotel if / when we return to Leeds."

"I had just spent 2 nites in hospital with my granddaughter had no sleep so booked this my God I got out taxi though I was entering a house out horror movie I was scared but needed sleep they place was horrid run down smelly dirty bed was clean that's about I put a chair in front of door with all my belongings on I was so scared never got any sleep was creepy bad when ya just want a bath but could not bring me self to go in. It it just wanted a nites sleep but that never happened they cost they took out my bank was more that it said in site never been so disappointed in my life was horrible I may as well sleeped in the street never known anything like it in my life people plz don't go"

Location is prime to the center and my event. Staff were amazing. Their contact system is top notch too. Loved it and had a beautiful one night. Hope to return again."
