"Allocated room 814 which was a mission from reception. Room in state of poor repair. We didn't care that much as it was just a one night sleep. Big hole in floor by bed.abput 3” x 4” large Sharp things under carpet when walking barefoot. Bathroom in a state of poor repair. Ironically had to pay a security deposit for what was a room that needs a complete refurb. Impossible to shower as insufficient cold water and no cold water in morning to brush teeth. Not good. Beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant ."

"Staff were fabulous, from booking in staff to breakfast staff, which were exceptional. However, 2 bath towels only and no hand towels to dry hands after using facilities. One pkt of biscuits between 2 people which is a bit mean."

"Stayed one night at EasyHotel Leeds – overall, it was okay. The best thing about it is definitely the location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station, and right in the city center, just across from Flat Iron Leeds (perfect if you’re craving steak), with a Costa Coffee next door for your caffeine fix. The room I got didn’t have any windows and seemed to be one of their accessible rooms – spacious bathroom with handrails and a shower seat. Not a problem at all, just something to note. The room itself was clean and basic, totally fine for a short stay. Wi-Fi was decent for general use. They’ve got vending machines on the ground floor and a 24-hour front desk. Free baggage storage is available before check-in, which was really convenient. After check-out they said there might be a charge, but I only needed it for about an hour and wasn’t charged anything. Nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot in a central location, it does the trick."

"Check was efficient, the room on first inspection looked good, the first problem the socket for coffee machine and kettle would not work, the reception team came to room 108, it could not be fixed as it was weekend. Due to socket which is also adjacent to mirror, was difficult to use hair dryer so far away. I would have also expected there to be hand towels in bathroom, also it would have been a nice touch for bottled water to be available as the weather was so hot. The bar and restaurant that is attached to the hotel, was very expensive, we only had a drink, but we had a service charge of 10% added to the bill, which i found rather odd as we were guest of the hotel, the hotel was in a good location for our trip to the Leeds arena, I also appreciate the discount of parking"

"The hotel is right next to the train station. The front desk staff was a Pakistani guy, and he was incredibly friendly. Seeing I was Chinese, he immediately upgraded my room, telling me, 'I must give you the best, everything is new, everything is fresh.' When I was filling out the form, I had only completed two lines and was about to ask him about the third, but he just said, 'It's fine,' and took the form away. As soon as I entered the room, for the first time ever, the lights came on without me having to insert a card. It was also the first time I've seen a welcome message with my name on the TV. This was also the first time I've encountered air conditioning in any accommodation in the UK (be it hotels, B&Bs, or dorms). It was the first hotel that made me feel like it was a complete package (everything was well-equipped, except for the usual lack of toothbrushes and toothpaste). And it was the first time I played a game with a remote control (though I fell asleep after just a couple of tries). By the time I settled in, it was already 9 PM. At this hour, finding a restaurant outside is tough, and walking around a strange city at night didn't feel very safe. But the hotel has its own restaurant. The prices were a bit steep, but the service and food were definitely worth it, especially the feeling of being able to have a hot meal after a long, tiring day. (The fries were genuinely freshly made, and they gave a whole jar of sauce!) It was a truly satisfying experience. The staff here are genuinely great. Whether it was the Pakistani guy at the front desk, the Black gentleman at the restaurant, or anyone else, they all made an effort to say a few words in Chinese. It really felt like what they say in 'Blossoms Shanghai' – even though you can communicate in English, when someone speaks your language, you truly feel their sincerity. For that meal, I fully expected to pay a service charge (and I would have gladly paid it at this restaurant; normally, I'd remove it if I didn't feel the service was earned). But the bill came with clear pricing, no hidden fees. I didn't have any cash on me, otherwise, I definitely would have left a tip."

"Checked in for the second time. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes less than ten minutes to walk from the train station. Although the hotel facilities are older, it does not affect the use. The price-performance ratio in the surrounding hotels is better. There are bars around the hotel. It’s the weekend that gets busier, and it doesn’t stop until dawn. Friends who are afraid of noisy choose carefully. The front desk service is a bit emotional. Overall ok, will live again"

"I requested a quiet room , which when I arrived was happy to see I was on the 5th floor . After the event I attended I came back to my room and was very upset to be met by very loud music blaring into the room from outside , this continued all night and stopped at 5am . I managed 1hours sleep , I was mortified . This ruined my experience."

"Good hotel but have bad experience. As I arrived at the hotel around 22:00 I booked a suite to have a quiet night but at around 4:00am I was woken up by a loud knocking on the door, I don't know how long he had been there, I was very disturbed to see through the peephole a drunken male in a grey blouse on the floor, he kept screaming and banging on the door next to a person in a pink skirt in front of my door , I was very scared and I called the front desk in a hurry and the front desk kicked him out. But I was mentally damaged, I was woken up at 4am by knocking on the door, I was in the hotel alone as a female and my personal mental state was seriously damaged, however the hotel did not give me any feedback either, this night was the worst night of my stay."

"We used this hotel as we were travelling to visit the university site @ beckett for my old child. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. The only thing that let the site down was the parking as after a period time they don’t have a massive area. If you wanted to visit the city centre get a local taxis and leave the car behide."

"Amazing experience, really worth the price. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Very convenient as it’s near the shopping area just 5–10 mins walk, and also right next to the train station. Just wonderful."
