Another lovely stay at the Crowne Plaza in Leeds. Always a warm welcome, rooms are well serviced and comfortable, and being on the edge of town, the location is much quieter but only a ten minute walk into the city centre and railway station. Staff are always cheerful and happy to help, check-in and check-out is always efficient and swift. Excellent on site car park. Breakfast is always a delight and the cooked to order omelettes are amazing! Tina and Gigi (and all of the other restaurant staff) go out of their way to make sure you have everything needed for a good start to the day. Overall, just a lovely hotel with lovely staff. Just what's needed when working away from home and definitely worthy of 4 stars.

The location is very good. If you like to eat donuts, you will definitely like living here,there is a delicious donut cafe opposite the hotel, and there are also good Vietnamese restaurants nearby. And it is very close to all attractions, a clean and comfortable hotel overall.

I decided as a treat for my nieces birthday and for her finishing her exams we would book a night away in the hilton for a relaxing/pamper night. The staff are lovely, we had a very friendly and welcoming checking in experience and they even offered us a free breakfast when I mentioned it was my nieces birthday. The room was ok, quite small and parts tired/worn down. We then headed out into the town for some food, as soon as we opened the room door we could hear the music. It was clearly a stag or something, men walking about with tops off, shouting and with music blaring. We waited for the lift as more and more people got out of the lift to join the party that was the 7th floor. The lift then opened to another group of men who then said something sexually suggestive and highly inappropriate to my 16 year old niece. I didn’t have time to approach them as the lift doors closed. We then was greeted by another intoxicated male in the lift who offered me his half drunken pint and said ‘come on get with it.’ I then decided to go to reception to complain. The staff were really helpful and tried very hard, we were told we could move rooms but by now the damage had been done - my niece suffers from anxiety and at this point she wanted to check out and go home. We tried to make the most of it and went out for food, when we arrived back we asked to be moved rooms which we did. We were on the top floor and this room was a little bigger but still parts that were very worn down (the bathroom door looked like a wolf had been scratching at it). We didn’t sleep, the air con didn’t work and it was absolutely boiling. The window only opened a crack and we had the noise outside coming through until the early hours. Every time we nodded off a door In the hallway would slam and wake is up - we almost checked out at 3am. All in all, a poor experience which was made slightly better by the staff who clearly wanted to help us. Not sure why a high class hotel such as the Hilton would accept stag/group bookings. We wanted to go swimming and explore the facilities more but the experience and the hotel clientele put us off (we didn’t feel comfortable). Not what I paid £165 for the night for, extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Stay here a lot and consistently good. Lovely rooms and very clean, especially bathrooms. Great water pressure too! Comfy beds and good selection of channels on tv. Good selection at breakfast and friendly attentive staff throughout. Only minor grumble was the lifts on this stay. Took ages for them to arrive and always very busy because of this. It was a Saturday though.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel and found the room to be really comfortable, the staff really friendly and helpful, and the food was really excellent. We didn't use the spa facilities as always arrived too late but the pool looked really inviting. Location was also good as just a few minutes off the M1. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel.

This was our second time staying at the Dakota in Leeds! I have to say that personally, this is my favourite Dakota. Our room was once again perfect (9th floor). Beautiful and clean with a stunning evening view of the city. We had drinks at the bar a couple of times over our stay and each time, the waiting staff were so lovely. Our whole trip was just what we were looking forward to. Can’t wait to stay over again soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was a little sceptical after reading the reviews and the hotel not being my own choice due to work booking. I was glad that in the main my worries were proved room. My check in experience was brilliant. After a very long journey I was greater by the amazing Alesha! What an absolute credit to Radisson! Smile happy greeting and answered my questions well. Unfortunately my room service experience wasn't great at all. Nearly an hour for burger and chips and when it did arrive fhe chips were stone cold and burger not cooked properly. After speaking to Alesha she could not do enough to apologise and rectify the issue and if it was not for her this review would have not been what it was, not the star rating! Breakfast was lovely and the events staff were super helpful too, mention to Engne who was very attentive and explained the room set up very well. Please Radisson, recognise the hard work of Alesha. She truly is a gem! Thank you for making my stay a lovely one Alesha. I think you're fab!

My husband and I stayed as part of a conference with over 300 people in attendance. We had a very large room which was obviously set up for 4. Two very large king sized beds pushed together meant that whilst we could have a bed each if we wished to sleep as usual my husband had to climb into bed from the bottom! We stayed Friday through to Sunday afternoon and ate in the restaurant friday night. It was relatively busy but we had a lovely meal, the cocktails were lovely and the staff attentive and we happily paid the service charge and a tip on a bill over £70. As a result of our experience on the Friday night we attended the restaurant again Saturday night. It was awful, we had to find a member of staff to take our order, a member of staff to order our dessert, and we had to find a member of staff to pay the bill - we nearly left without paying the wait was so long! When we did get the bill a service charge had been added - we refused to pay this element as we had been given no service! On Sunday afternoon as the conference ( which was in the hotel ballroom) finished at 2pm and we did not need to be at the airport until after 6pm we thought we would see if we could get something to eat in the restaurant. Disappointingly a vegetarian colleague could not get the simple cheese and tomato sandwich he wanted as the only food the chefs were willing ( or able?) To prepare was what was on the menu ! We left and ate elsewhere so he could be accommodated. The hotel is very disabled friendly with access to all bar one room without the need to use lifts ( although we are now intimately acquainted with the service lift!) The staff in the hotel were all friendly and approachable. ( Even when refusing service!)

Have stayed here 4 times in the last couple of years. Price paid is good value for setting, location, spa facilities but the rooms are definitely looking tired. Was upgraded once and there was a huge difference in the general cleanliness and decor of the room. General house and communal areas are stunning and grand but rooms under any ‘deals’ are quite basic and are very far from the reception and facilities so not so good if mobility could be an issue. Overall it ticks a lot of boxes for a familiar and convenient one night stay.

I had a business meeting in the restaurant and food and drinks were amazing! Fabio was our bartender and he made me the best negroni that I ever had! He was friendly and really professional. We will come back for sure!
