"Here’s a polished review you can post: Really enjoyed our stay at ChaoKoh Phi Phi Hotel & Resort. The highlight was definitely the swimming pool — absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained and a great place to relax during the day. The hotel has a fantastic location, close to everything while still feeling like a relaxing place to come back to. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Would happily stay here again when visiting Phi Phi!"

"Stayed one night with family from July 31st to August 1st, 2026. The rooms were advertised as 36m², which they definitely were not. I'd say they were closer to 20m². The bungalows were just awful, with no soundproofing whatsoever. It was impossible to sleep. Music blared until 3 AM, then from 4 AM, there was the clatter of dishes from the restaurant. Overall, it was very bad in that regard. You couldn't swim in the sea because the water in the bay was very dirty. There was low tide, and a lot of trash on the shore. The water receded almost halfway across the bay. On the plus side, the pool was decent, and the breakfasts were excellent."

"Service was great! The receptionists were very helpful and polite, especially the one gentleman. We had a great time staying away from the crowds. The sunbeds were plenty, the beach was amazing, though the water is not very suitable for swimming during low tide since there are tons of sea urchins everywhere. I rented their kayak and rowed out to be able to swim safely in the deeper water. We had two villas on the hill, great views of the ocean. In one of the rooms, the inside was clean but there was an old beer can and some cigarette butts on the balcony that I assume housekeeping missed. They were out there for the entirety of our 2 nights stay. We were able to hire longtail boats back and forth to downtown at a reasonable rate. The reception was helpful in helping us book a boat ride to check out the islands. We had most of our meals at the hotel restaurant, decent food!"

"The hotel location is absolutely amazing, Breathtaking views, quiet, relaxing, Natural, access to snorkelling. The food they had in the hotel: some of it was really really good, and some of it was not so good. The only weakness is the fact that the logistics to get there by boat are quite complicated ~ I found a single fast boat provider which can directly access the resort but they only have one boat a day all the rest require you to stop and switch companies in the middle. Once i found out which food in the resort was better i ordered that more frequently. If you wait for low tide you can walk along the beach to get to the village and avoid the other resort but during high tide that's impossible. A staff were very good and provided access to snorkeling equipment were happy to help you drive up the steep mountain and even helped with luggage whenever needed (We always walked down, but the walk back up was hard, and were happy for their service). 酒店地理位置绝对令人惊叹，景色令人叹为观止，安静、放松、自然，可以浮潜。他们在酒店吃的食物：有些真的很好，有些不太好。唯一的弱点是，乘船到达那里的物流非常复杂~我找到了一家快速船供应商，可以直接进入度假村，但他们每天只有一艘船，其余的都需要你在在中间停下来换公司。一旦我发现度假胜地的哪些食物更好，我就更频繁地点。如果你等待退潮，你可以沿着海滩走到村庄，避开其他度假胜地，但在涨潮时这是不可能的。工作人员非常好，提供浮潜设备。他们很乐意帮助你开车上山，甚至在需要的时候帮忙拿行李（我们总是走下去，但走回去很难，我们很高兴他们的服务）。"

"OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort left me with the exact emotions that make me want to return to Thailand again and again. From the very first moments, you feel the high level of service and an incredibly warm atmosphere. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and carefree. Genuine smiles, attention to detail, and care in every interaction – this is what creates a true sense of hospitality. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and harmonious: well-maintained grounds, stylish architecture, and an atmosphere of tranquility and seclusion. They've managed to preserve the feeling of a tropical island while adding modern comfort and aesthetics. The restaurant deserves special mention. The service was superb – professional, attentive, and very pleasant. Every visit left nothing but positive impressions. The breakfasts were magnificent: a wide selection, fresh ingredients, excellent quality dishes, and very beautiful presentation. I particularly remember a dessert the chef prepared right in front of me. It was tiramisu – incredibly delicate, perfectly balanced, and, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. It was clear how much attention and love they put into even these small details. It's the people who make this place special. The entire staff creates an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and genuine care, making the vacation feel truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team at OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort for a wonderful experience and an unforgettable atmosphere. This is a place I truly want to return to."

"The breakfast was amazing. The grounds are beautiful with pretty flowers and lots of cute cats, however, finding our room was tough. And the internet didn’t work. As well, the bathroom was not the cleanest. I had to walk to the front counter in a towel and pass a drunk guy who literally wanted to jump my bones, because in order to reach the front you must scan the QR code which is not possible without the internet access. Anyway, the front desk staff were great in going above and beyond to replace the kettle which didn’t work initially. They also hooked us up to the alternate internet that always works on the ground and that I believe the staff use. And the front desk person also got us the dental kit as this doesn’t automatically come with the room or at all. The agent secured us the dental kit that I assumed comes with a 200 + a night room because I asked and to compensate for all the things that were not up to par with the room. The sheets had some rips or rouging from wear and tear I noticed when I got under the covers. Overall, the breakfast the next morning made it all worth it. And yes it is really that good. You get the best Thai dishes, western dishes and more for breakfast unlimited and the chef is top tier. Do what you will with this information. And there were NO roaches or lizards, only a few ants near the kettle that didn’t work lol."

"Extremely satisfied! Five stars is the maximum rating here, but not the hotel's maximum potential, if you know what I mean! First, the hotel is just 50 meters to the right after disembarking from the pier. No need for further transfers, which saves a lot of time and hassle, especially since you don't have to climb any stairs. From what I observed, many hotels on the island, especially resorts, require you to climb stairs even if staff are assisting with transportation. Second, the hotel's sea-view rooms have balconies with lounge chairs, and the view is dotted with longtail boats – absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery after a day of activities. Third, the room was spacious and clean, with very new facilities. The subtle scent of aromatherapy was very pleasant, and the room looked exactly like the photos on their official website. Fourth, it offers great value for money and includes breakfast. There's a wide selection of fruits, bread, coffee, juice, fried rice, fried noodles, and desserts. You can also order omelets and ham for free, and the breakfast area is a sea-view restaurant! Fifth, the location is incredibly convenient. You can catch a boat to Long Beach right outside, walk 300 meters for kayaking, and there are plenty of restaurants and massage places nearby. Plus, there are two 7-Eleven stores within 100 meters – super convenient! Finally, and very importantly, I saw some reviews mentioning discrimination against Chinese guests, but I didn't experience anything like that at all. Everyone was equally friendly. I had emailed the hotel in advance, explaining that my parents are elderly and need extra care, requesting adjacent rooms with good balcony views. The hotel replied promptly and thoughtfully arranged everything. When we arrived at the front desk around 11 AM, they immediately brought us welcome drinks and even had one room cleaned for us so my parents could check in early and rest! The entire trip was wonderful! If I had to mention a downside, it would be the lack of a swimming pool. But honestly, when you're on Koh Phi Phi, who needs a pool?! There was also a little bit of noise, as it's close to the pier, but the hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent soundproofing, so I didn't find it disturbing at all. Other than that, it's all positives! In short, our two-day trip to Koh Phi Phi was made even more enjoyable and happy thanks to this hotel!"

"Overall, a pretty good hotel. The staff are very friendly, and they offer a car service for transportation. The newly renovated rooms are quite modern. It's inevitable to find bugs on the island, and there were quite a few ant-like insects in the bathroom. Also, dining options are a bit limited, so I recommend trying the local eateries in the nearby village. Getting to the island isn't the most convenient, but it's not as bad as some online reviews suggest. Walking from the hotel's boat to the beach and watching the staff transport luggage with small carts was actually quite an interesting experience."

"Incredible place! If you're looking for a truly dream-like resort with peace and quiet, this is absolutely the right spot! Stunning water and everything is extremely relaxing! It's important to know that there is truly nothing else around. You'll be staying in wooden huts, so it's not complete luxury, but you should be aware of that! Still, it's totally worth it!"

"The location here is great… however we encountered a few problems. 1) the place is riddled with mosquitoes i walked away from 3 nights with 24 bites and they are big bites. I know this is not the properties fault but maybe making sure there’s no gaps in the door to allow ways in or shutting the patio door once cleaned rather than leaving with a gap. 2) the room are very outdated and a bit dirty, we had fresh mouldy bedding on one day after the cleaners 3) We were on the ground floor with a patio sliding door that didn’t lock…. Easily accessible for anybody to walk in and take things etc 4) The pool and location are both fantastic hut i feel for the money we paid this was a bit of a rip off and something you expect in the depths of Thailand."
