Due to the late arrival of Scoot flight TR611 from Suvarnabhumi past 11.30 pm, it costs me S$21.30 by Grab to arrive at Dorsett Changi City Hotel from Changi Airport. I stayed here one night for the convenience of boarding the free shuttle bus service at the neighbouring Expo Hall 5 for Singapore Airshow 2026 past 7 am on 8 February 2026. There is no need to pay the room deposit for one night stay at Dorsett Changi City Hotel. The room rate is overpriced as the room allocated to me is small. There is no pair of indoor slippers or sandals to wear and there is no room razor to use. Instead of four-class service, the hotel service should be classified as three-class instead. Top quality body lotion as well as body and hand wash are provided for room use. There is free filtered water to drink. Like Maya Hotel in Phuket, the toilet is separated from the shower room but Dorsett guests hang towels in the toilet and not the shower room! Flooding occurs after showering. Breakfast also starts at 6.30 am but it costs S$33.57 per guest. This is the breakfast rate payable to the reception by debit card, credit card or cash while it costs S$39 plus if the guest pays for breakfast at the hotel's Cosmo Restaurant. 6.30 am is the earliest breakfast outside homes in Changi as the nearest convenience store 7-11 is opened only at 7 am daily. The restaurant serves more varieties of fruits than other hotel restaurants as well as multi-grain bread. Cosmo Restaurant is also running ala carte buffet lunch promo rate at S$29.90 per person. Members of the public can also eat here. During winter months, planes can be seen flying past Standard Chartered Bank Building of Changi Business Park from the lift corridor. The reception says hotel guests on the hotel's swimming pool deck can also see planes flying. I recommend to stay at Dorsett Changi City Hotel for one night only if guests wanted to go to Expo to attend a MICE event on the next day, catch an early free shuttle bus to Singapore Airshow or stay at a cheaper rate than Yotelair Changi during transit. It’s a small hotel on top of the restaurants. Main access is via the access door between the shops or at the rear of the restaurant The room is small to fit one double and one single The bathroom and shower combined with a small vanity It’s ok for one night close to the airport ＜SD25 taxi/grab Lots of restaurants and good hawker centre across the road It’s ok for what I paid SD110 for one night I will I stay again, yes but I stayed at a better place about the same price +SD10-15 closer to MRT along EW7/8 line cab to airport SD25-30

I have booked a Double Bed Room but was told that only the Twin Beds Room was ready. Agreed to take it as the Double Bed Room would only be ready in 30 minutes. There were not enough of hair and body liquid soap in the dispenser and we had to use sparingly to last for our stay! Sighhh.. There were children running around and making so much noise along the corridors until I have to open my door and look at them! Surprisingly, their family members would allow them to do such things and disturb other guests! Oh my..some people simply do not have any considerations for others!

We booked this hotel because we were attending a concert at the stadium nearby. However, the location is about an 18–20 minute walk from the two nearest subway stations, which might feel a bit far if you rely on public transportation. The hotel is located on a lively street with many bars, but the area felt safe and we did not feel concerned about security. We followed the hotel’s housekeeping instructions by placing the towels in the sink and hanging the cleaning request sign. However, when we returned to the room that evening, the staff had not replaced the towels, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the front desk staff were very warm and friendly, and overall the service experience was pleasant.

Cleaner and visually nicer than I thought (Didn'tknownit was under Hotel81 tbh, so expect a no-frills kinda room), especially the toilet - love it!! Staff (I think is his name is Tate Fay) was a very nice guy in terms of the hospitality service - helpful and outgoing enough without being too in your face. Location was not bad though not the best cos everywhere seems expensive, but the Sarawak Noodles nearby are good!! FINALLY THE CONS!! IS THE SOUNDPROOFING!! The water flow from the ceiling is insanely loud for people with sensitive hearing!! Sad that the management didn't fix this when they were doing renovations!!

We got here at 10pm just got off a flight and need to catch another flight early in the morning. It’s a massive resort, rooms are quite old. We can hear some kid running either upstairs of us or outside in the corridor at 2am, we can’t go back to sleep after this. Also the most scary part is that we found a metal pin on one of the beds, as my son said there was something weird, I’ve brought it to the front desk at checkout, and the front desk man said “****, I’ll talk to my manager “. So don’t think we’ll come back here again🙂. Gotta say the taxi service is pretty efficient as we needed to get to the airport at 4:30am.

I don't understand negative reviews, the hotel is good looks modern and the price is reasonable for Singapore. I took a bus from the airport and the bus stop is a few minutes walk, the metro station probably about 10 minutes away ( but there are some works on that line). There are stairs at the front doors so it's not easy with the heavy luggage. The receptionist offered me an early check in about 11 am, if I wait for an hour, I didn't have time but it's was a nice offer, I appreciate. To use the lift you need to use a key card. My room was between storage space and stairs so I couldn't hear other guests, only from the corridor. I didn't have time to check the restaurant and the rooftop. The room is quite big and very clean, in a good condition and well maintained. The bed is big and comfortable. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. There is a kettle, mini fridge, a bottle of water, a few kinds of tea and coffee. The problem was to get the hot water in the shower. The first night I was so tired so just took a cold shower, the next morning I called the reception to ask about it, they sent 2 men to fix it ( maybe 1 I not enough, but they managed to figure it out). The receptionist told something about the WiFi password but I couldn't remember it or misunderstood, so I couldn't use it. I guess this kind of things should be written. A funny nuance: there is a suggestions form but no pen provided. Overall a good experience and I'd come back for another stay.

Arrived late at night, and there was still staff at the lobby. They even left green apples for guests. The room, though small, was very clean and well-equipped. There's a fantastic Western restaurant diagonally opposite and a clothing store across the street where I always find unique, well-designed pieces. This hotel offers great value for money in Singapore.

Conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from downtown attractions like Marina Bay Sands and Merlion Park. Public transportation is easily accessible. Best of all, it's just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Geylang nightlife.
