This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I simply have to recommend it! The hotel's location is excellent, right by the subway station with a vibrant commercial area and local eateries nearby. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. It offers a tranquil atmosphere amidst the hustle and bustle, making for a very comfortable stay.
The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They were always patient and gentle, promptly responding to any requests. We even received a wonderful surprise upon check-in: a complimentary room upgrade to a larger, more elegant space. The limited two-person breakfast was also upgraded to a three-person meal, with a rich variety of delicious options.
The rooms were clean, tidy, and well-equipped, showing great attention to detail from the hotel. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. From the convenience of its location to the exceptional service, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit and genuinely recommend it to everyone!

The hotel environment is beautiful, like a resort in the city center. My children absolutely loved the outdoor pool and splash facilities. When they learned that it was one adult and two children staying, they thoughtfully pulled out the sofa bed so there were three beds in the room. Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are very well maintained, and I'd give the hardware a high score. The breakfast quality also met my already high expectations, with a wide variety of choices and excellent quality. There's a shuttle bus every hour to the busiest part of Orchard Road.
However, in terms of service, I'm only giving a 3. My disappointment lies with the check-in process. When we arrived by taxi, there was no greeter. At the check-in counter, there were three queues, with about three families in each. I picked one and waited for about 20 minutes to be served. At the time, I thought the efficiency here was a bit low, and there wasn't the usual welcoming smile or a glass of water like in other four or five-star hotels. While I was thinking this, a female manager walked back from a distance, looked at me with a cold expression, and asked, 'Are you not queuing? Look, everyone else is queuing.' Her unreasonable and unfounded accusation made me feel embarrassed and offended. Was this a stereotypical prejudice against Chinese faces? I explained in English, but she remained noncommittal. Instead, the staff member who was actually checking me in and understood the situation said 'sorry' to me. In short, this female manager's arrogance and discrimination marred my good impression of the hotel. I hope she sees this review.

DiscovererWe stayed at this hotel in July 2026. From Changi Airport, we took the MRT. After clearing customs, you need to follow the signs for 'Train to city' or 'MRT'. On the way, buy an Ez-link card at one of the tourist kiosks. We were offered an unlimited pass for $40, but we declined and bought top-up cards for $10 each, valid for our transit period in Singapore. From Singapore Airport to the city center, you first need to travel two stops to Tanah Merah station, alight at platform B, and then board a train marked 'to city' from the same platform. This is on the Green Line. Get off at Raffles Place station. Then, go up the stairs or take the elevator, and once upstairs, look for Exit D or E. Exit D is closer and more convenient for the hotel, but it goes through a shopping mall which might be closed in the evenings or on weekends. From either exit, turn right and walk along the main road without turning off. The main entrance of the building where the hotel is located leads to the CapitaSpring business center. You don't need to enter there; instead, walk a few meters past the main entrance on the right side, towards the taxi stand, where you'll find the hotel entrance. From there, you need to go up to the 9th floor, where the reception is. The hotel has three elevators: one for the reception from the 1st to the 9th floor, which is accessible to everyone. The second elevator goes from the 9th to the 17th floor and can only be used with a room key card. This elevator leads to the guest rooms. The third elevator is on the 17th floor in the garden and leads to the 51st floor observation deck, which is only open on weekdays until 6 PM.
Water dispensers are located opposite the elevators on each floor. To use the elevator to the rooms, you need to tap your key card and select your floor on the panel; the panel will then indicate which of the three elevators (by a letter designation) will arrive. The staff were polite. There was no deposit required upon check-in, but they asked for a credit card number for registration. The rooms are clean, cozy, and have a good view. The renovation is fresh. The curtains are practically blackout, providing excellent darkening. However, there's a green sensor light on the ceiling in the room's hallway that seems quite bright at night, like a nightlight. This didn't bother us, but if you want to sleep in complete darkness, you won't be able to without a sleep mask. The soundproofing in the rooms is good; we couldn't hear our neighbors. The room has everything necessary, including a refrigerator, an ironing board, and an iron. There's also a safe, a capsule coffee machine, tea and coffee making facilities, and even soft hangers in the wardrobe. The pillows felt uncomfortable to me, but that's probably the only drawback. The room was cleaned daily; trash was emptied, and towels were changed. The Wi-Fi was good. Overall, we liked the hotel, including its central location.

Amira RosMy stay at Mandai Rainforest Resort Treehouse was such a wonderful and peaceful experience. Staying surrounded by nature while still having the comfort and amenities of a resort made it feel like a true escape from the city.
The Treehouse & Ambience
The treehouse was beautiful, cosy and thoughtfully designed. Waking up surrounded by greenery and nature was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy some quiet time.
Food
The food was genuinely good, and I really enjoyed the dining experience during my stay. Everything was well presented and satisfying, making it easy to just stay in and enjoy the resort without needing to head out.
Sunset & Sunrise Views
The views were absolutely beautiful. Watching the sunset in the evening and sunrise in the morning from the resort was a memorable experience. The changing colours of the sky against the surrounding greenery made the stay feel extra special.
Amenities
The resort had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were well maintained, and I loved that the experience allowed me to enjoy nature without giving up comfort.
Service
The service was another highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout my stay. They made the experience feel welcoming and comfortable from check-in to check-out.
Overall, Mandai Rainforest Resort Treehouse is a beautiful getaway for anyone looking to disconnect, relax and reconnect with nature. Between the cosy treehouse, good food, beautiful sunrise and sunset views, great amenities and warm service, it was definitely a stay worth experiencing.

Guest UserI had a great stay at lyf Funan Singapore. The biggest advantage is definitely the location. It is within walking distance of many popular attractions such as Clarke Quay, Merlion Park, Marina Bay, and the National Gallery. City Hall MRT is also just a few minutes away, making it very easy to get around Singapore.
The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. The hotel is also connected to Funan Mall, so there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops right downstairs.
Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, convenient hotel in a central location with free breakfast, I would definitely recommend

Anonymous UserThe location is ideal and easily accessible, near Funan IT mall and various shopping malls, as well as reachable by MRT and buses. The room is clean and facilities are complete, except that the air conditioner is centrally controlled and the room is still warm despite 23 degrees. Nonetheless, there is fan in the room to cool down. The lounge service is absolutely good. Overall, the hotel is recommendable.

The hotel's location is great, and the breakfast is good, but the service is even better! Especially Felicia from reservations, Fong at the front desk, and Gernold, the room service manager, their attitude and efficiency are all top-notch. The hotel's breakfast is excellent and offers great value for money; I highly recommend all guests staying here try it.

XiangwanbianshijieOverall, the room was quite small and the facilities were a bit old. The bedding was clean, no bugs or anything. However, it wasn't a duvet but more like a blanket made of a large bath towel material. Let's just say it kept me from getting cold while sleeping. The air conditioner was clunking loudly at first, but miraculously, it quieted down after I adjusted the settings – I guess I got lucky. My child left the travel adapter in the room. Several hours later, I went to the front desk, and despite my broken English, the lovely front desk staff found it for me. A quick registration and it was all sorted. The overall service was quite warm and welcoming. Staying one night was acceptable. Oh, and by the way, there's no wet/dry separation in the bathroom. If that's important to you, make sure to check before booking. Many hotels in Singapore don't have wet/dry separation, likely due to space constraints. It's within walking distance of Clarke Quay, which I recommend visiting at night – it's very close. It's also not far from the MRT station. If you're up for a walk, you can even stroll to Fort Canning Park.
