"The location is great, very convenient for Universal Studios. There are also shopping malls and a bus stop nearby, so transportation is super easy. The price is very reasonable too. The only downside is the air conditioning can be a bit noisy, so if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing earplugs."
"At just over a hundred Singapore dollars, the price is really good value for money. The hotel building is quite old, and the facilities are just average, on par with a budget hotel in China. Housekeeping is done every two days, not daily, and there's no room service like you'd find in China's budget hotels. The upside is that it's relatively clean, and my window faced a lovely green tree, which felt lucky. The downside is the poor sound insulation; I could hear people talking and ringing doorbells from other rooms. Plus, there was a box on the ceiling, possibly a router, that blinked all night long. After turning off the lights, the flashing was really disruptive to my sleep. I booked two nights, and I didn't sleep well either night."
"The hotel rooms in Singapore are on the smaller side, but they're very clean. The front desk staff are friendly and the location is great. There's a convenience store downstairs, and it's just a few minutes' walk to a bus stop, making it super easy to get to all the attractions. It's a good option if you're on a budget."
"This photo is from my room view. An important things to said if you drive can just consider other hotel. This hotel did not provide free parking as you know the town areas parking at Singapore are expensive. But this suitable who will take mrt, is just right below the hotel which is outram park. The pool have made my mom a bit disappointed because of not really have good maintenance since this is a 4 star global hotel, really cannot compare with Dorsett KL😌
I have met a front service counter staff, I hope she is just tired, because she looks like we owe her. She is very good on speaking mandarin and just nice this hotel nearby Chinatown. Might have a lot of mandarin users."
"Hotel Faber Park Singapore - Handwritten Collection
The hotel's location was more convenient than I expected. There's a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get to the city center and NUS. It's also not far from VivoCity, and the MRT station is just a few minutes' walk away.
During check-in, the staff provided very detailed explanations, which was a big plus for their service attitude! 👍
However, as soon as I entered the hallway, I noticed the carpet was very thick, creating a lot of resistance when dragging luggage. It felt like an early workout.
The room had enough space to open a large suitcase, and there was a dedicated luggage area, which was very thoughtful as it didn't block the walkway. There was also a small desk, though I observed many guests preferred working in the lobby for a more comfortable sense of space.
✔️ Likes:
- Convenient transportation
- Ample room space
- Full-size luggage can be opened and placed
- Breakfast was a major highlight! There were quite a few options, mainly Western breakfast. Although staying for 5 consecutive days meant the choices were largely the same (only a few items rotated), the coffee was excellent. Plus, after 10:30 AM, the lobby offered complimentary butterfly pea flower water and cucumber lemon water, both of which were delicious and super refreshing!
❌ Minor inconveniences:
- The bathroom design was a bit odd. The toilet and shower were in separate, independent spaces. The shower cubicle had almost no hooks; if you hung clean clothes, there was no space for used ones, and even towels had to be hung outside the door. This might be fine for couples, but it could be a bit awkward for friends or family traveling together. Ironically, the toilet area had more storage space 😂
- The tiles at the entrance of the shower cubicle were not very slip-resistant. Water from showering and using the sink easily splashed onto the floor tiles, making it easy to slip if you were wearing the hotel-provided slippers.
- Also, the soundproofing was mediocre. I occasionally heard footsteps and conversations from the hallway and adjacent rooms."
"Great stay at Galaxy Pods Chinatown Singapore! The pods are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with everything needed for a convenient stay. The location is excellent, close to Chinatown’s restaurants, shops, and attractions. Friendly staff and a great option for travelers looking for an affordable place in Singapore"
"Had a pleasant one-night stay at M Social. The hotel has a very unique, trendy design that feels modern and fresh. The room was cozy, well-designed, and clean. It’s located in a great spot with easy access to nearby dining and attractions. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly. A great choice if you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in the city!"
"The front desk staff were polite and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was quite small at 14 sqm (we would definitely book a larger room next time). The location is fantastic, right across from the market. We were initially worried about noise, but were pleasantly surprised—it didn’t bother us at all.
Hotel amenities were standard and sufficient, good enough for a 2-day stay, especially for two foodies. I also tried the Italian restaurant next door, Trattoria Luca, which turned out to be a great find.
Overall, this is a good hotel and great value for money. We would book again."

Great
GGuest UserThe front desk staff had an abysmal attitude; I didn't feel like I was being served at all. There was absolutely no useful information provided – nothing about the hotel's shuttle service, the fact that the kids' club costs extra, or details about adding breakfast. The service was utterly terrible. Having stayed at so many five-star hotels, I've noticed that only the Chinese front desk staff provide the worst service, while those who speak English are far superior. The Splash water play area was good, but the Buds indoor playground charges a fee. The bakery on the first floor offers inexpensive bread that's huge and affordable. However, the Louge restaurant's prices are outrageously expensive, probably double what you'd pay outside. A bak kut teh, which normally costs around 20 SGD elsewhere, is 40 SGD here – you'd be better off adding breakfast to your stay. The location is also quite remote. Given this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel itself is beautiful, though.
GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. It's truly rare to find this quality and price in Singapore. It's well-suited for business travelers, but if you're looking for good value and don't specifically need a family-friendly hotel, this one is excellent. The hotel is new, and the service is great. There's no complimentary bottled water in the room, which is common in Singapore, but there's a water dispenser in the hallway – when in Rome, do as the Romans do!
GGuest UserWe were there as a pre Disney cruise stay. It’s a unique hotel, felt like staying in rainforest. Enjoyed the nature and quiet atmosphere. Location is quite far out but there’s a food court within walking distance. Service at front desk is a bit slow probably due to lack of staff during peak hours. Maybe can do joint promotions with Disney with special rates & transportation arrangements.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Grand Park City Hall for a birthday staycation with my friend. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff at the front desk were friendly, welcoming, and informative, especially since it was my first time staying here.
The hotel’s location is very convenient, just a short walk from City Hall MRT, with plenty of shops and dining options nearby. The room and facilities were clean and well maintained throughout our stay.
The gym is on the smaller side, but it had everything I needed for a good workout. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which was a lovely place to relax and made the birthday celebration even more special.
Overall, it was a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend Grand Park City Hall for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant staycation in Singapore.
AAvanZhaoThis hotel is right in the city center, located in the lively Funan Mall, offering plenty of dining and entertainment options, making shopping super convenient. It's also easy to get to all the popular Instagrammable spots! The hygiene is excellent, and the facilities are comprehensive and convenient. It's a great choice for travelers!
SShannn_The room was clean and tidy, with a minimalist design and excellent space planning. They also offer free laundry and drying services. The front desk service was great, and there's a small bar on the first floor perfect for a drink or two in the evening; it was quite lively and had a good atmosphere! There's also an outdoor terrace on the second floor for relaxing. Given the location, the overall value for money is absolutely fantastic!
澳澳洲 楊女士This hotel is in middle of the Orchard Road, endless shopping there from high end to middle range. Room has all the amenities any travelers need. Front desk staffs are helpful and professional. I will definitely recommend Pullman Orchard singapore to anyone visiting Singapore
EEagle1103Had a great stay at Hotel Boss! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The swimming pool was a nice bonus — big enough for a proper swim. Best of all, the hotel is conveniently located near MRT stations and popular tourist spots, making it easy to explore Singapore. Highly recommend!
JJJun..Had a very enjoyable stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how cold and refreshing the air conditioning was, especially considering how hot the weather outside was.
The location was also very convenient. The hotel provides a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to VivoCity, which made getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, along with supermarkets like Cold Storage and Little Farms nearby, so it was very convenient for food and daily necessities.
Breakfast was enjoyable as well, with good variety and accommodating service. I especially appreciated being able to request a customized fried rice without soy sauce and gluten, which was a thoughtful touch for dietary preferences.
Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with great convenience and excellent service. Would definitely consider staying here again.
YYueguangxiadewanzilunFor a country as expensive as Singapore 🇸🇬, a hostel priced in the 100s is definitely great value for money. Many local Chinese people stay here, and you can learn about Singapore's history by chatting with them. The closest MRT stations are Lavender and Jalan Besar, and it's also very near Little India, making it super convenient to get to all of Singapore's major attractions. There's a food court right downstairs, which is probably one of the cheapest dining options in Singapore, helping you save a lot on food. I stayed here for three days and thought it was pretty good!
