Extremely close to the airport, I could watch planes taking off and landing in Singapore right from my bed ✈️. It's very convenient from the subway, and the large shopping mall next door is perfect for shopping, browsing, and dining. There was a slight incident: the hotel and the adjacent mall share an alarm system, and on the first night, mall staff accidentally triggered the fire alarm. I was woken up at 3 AM by the continuous English broadcast and felt a bit disoriented. Later, I found out it was a false alarm 😂. But the surrounding area is genuinely very convenient.

This place in the transit lounge was just perfect for a longer layover. I was very lucky to be upgraded to the actual hotel and it just what I needed to get some rest. It had all the amenities you could need and the room was warm and cosy. The breakfast was one of the best lounge breakfasts I’ve had too! Would definitely recommend!

Changi Airport in Singapore is renowned for its size and facilities, so I booked my last night in Singapore at a hotel there. The Crowne Plaza is also quite well-known in my home country. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Terminal 3, making getting around incredibly easy. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jewel, or you can take the SkyTrain, which is also very convenient. The hotel's decor is impressive, and the room was spacious and very clean. The staff were all very welcoming, and many of them spoke Chinese, so there were no communication issues. I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

✈️Since I had an early flight at 7 AM, I opted for an airport hotel for my last night in Singapore instead of staying downtown. 😂When I booked, I saw the room pictures and size, and I just thought it was pathetically small. But I figured it was just for one night, so I'd make do. Price-wise, at around 1000 RMB, it's definitely not good value for money. Its only advantage is convenience, being close to the airport terminal. You walk out the door and can see Changi Airport's grand waterfall. 🤓The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. Entering the guest room area, there wasn't the usual hustle and bustle I'd imagined. It was huge inside, with many rooms, like a maze. Overall, it felt very quiet, and the carpet had excellent soundproofing. Pushing luggage wasn't a struggle at all. 🤪Opening the room door, even though I was mentally prepared, I still exclaimed, ”It's so small!” The bed was right there as soon as you opened the door, and there was even that strange pink lighting reminiscent of old-school street hair salons. 🛏️The bed is electric and can be raised, which is convenient for watching TV. There are foldable tables and chairs by the bed, saving a lot of space. 😜The living space saved was all given to the bathroom. The sink, toilet, and shower cubicle were all lined up, achieving a good wet/dry separation. Many hotels in Hong Kong are also small but can't manage this kind of wet/dry separation; they could learn a thing or two. 🥰The stay experience was also good. The mattress was a little soft, but the support was sufficient. The soundproofing was also excellent; I barely heard any other noise, which is a big plus. 🤣After all that praise, let's talk about the downsides. Check-in time is 6 PM, which is quite late, and early check-in isn't an option. Check-out time is 9 AM, so sleeping in is impossible. Luckily, I had to leave at 5 AM, so I didn't have that problem. Also, the room's AC temperature is restricted to 21 to 24℃. Even set to 24℃ with the fan on the lowest setting, it still felt very cold, and the duvet was very thin. Since there are no windows, I was afraid it would get stuffy if I turned it off, so I just had to wear more clothes. 🥳Overall, the hotel room design is very smart. Although small, it doesn't significantly impact short stays. If you have higher demands for your living experience, you might want to consider the other Crowne Plaza.

I booked a room as a woman traveling alone and was overall satisfied with my stay. Considering the price, it offered good value for money. The room was clean, which was the most important thing for me. It was perfect for one night, and I would definitely book again. The location was very quiet, making the stay calm and pleasant.

However, the lounge’s relatively small size became a limitation during my visit. With a higher number of guests at that time, finding a preferred seating spot was somewhat challenging, and the space felt cramped. Additionally, a few guests were not mindful of social etiquette, which detracted slightly from the otherwise pleasant environment. Amenities and Services: Facilities such as Wi-Fi, charging stations, reading materials, and shower amenities were all available and well-maintained. These essential services are functional and convenient for transit travelers. Signage for key facilities could be clearer to enhance ease of use, particularly for first-time visitors. Food and Beverage: The lounge offered a modest selection of snacks and beverages. While sufficient for a short stay, the variety and quality are limited compared to larger or premium lounges at Changi. Service Quality: Staff were professional, courteous, and attentive. Check-in and general assistance were handled efficiently, contributing positively to the overall experience. Value for Transit Travelers: The lounge serves its purpose well for travelers seeking a quiet place to rest during a short layover. However, for those expecting more space, privacy, or extensive dining options, alternative lounges may provide a more complete experience. Overall Assessment: The Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminal 3 is a clean, comfortable, and functional transit option. Its smaller size and occasional lack of guest etiquette can be a drawback during busy periods, but the lounge remains a convenient choice for short-term relaxation. Rating: ★★★ / 5

Am impressed by the welcoming vibes of the lobby. Chose this co-sharing hotel because it’s four-bedded with a shared bathroom, convenient for my visually-impaired friend. Fellow guests were considerate and abided the guidelines listed in the room. The downside is that the rates are the same for the lower and bottom bunks. And the listing did not indicate which bunks were available. It would have helped me make a more informed choice. As it turned out, only the upper bunk was available and it was very inconvenient for my medically blind friend. Other dorms have different pricing for the bunks, which I feel is a better policy so that guests need to consider the cost before deciding to take the more convenient lower bunk.

Staff was friendly and food in the restaurant was good. It’s a bit of a maze looking for your room as reception is in another building as the hotel rooms but once you know where it is, it’s not a big deal. Unfortunately my shower didn’t get warm at all (and tv didn’t work) but couldn’t be bothered to get back to reception to sort it as I had little time to rest before catching a flight again. Overall a good hotel, but they have to keep up with their amenities.

This was my second time staying at Dusit Thani Singapore. My first stay was for my sister’s bachelorette celebration, and this time it was for my boyfriend’s birthday. The hotel prepared a birthday cake for us, which was a very thoughtful and lovely gesture. Overall, everything inside the hotel was excellent and truly met five-star standards — service, comfort, and atmosphere were all very well done. That said, there are a few things worth noting. Our room did not have a bathtub, which might be a downside for guests who enjoy soaking. At night, taking Grab to and from the city can be quite expensive due to the hotel’s location. Additionally, there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel at the moment, which slightly affects the surrounding view and overall cityscape. Overall, it’s a high-quality hotel with warm service and attention to detail, perfect for special occasions, though the external environment and transportation costs are something to consider.
