"The location was really convenient - a short 5 minute walk from Oji station which has the Keihin Tohoku line making trips to Ueno, Tokyo and Ginza a breeze. Tabata station is two stops away which gives access to the Yamanote line for places like Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and Shibuya. There are a few convenience stores and supermarkets nearby too. I was able to leave my luggage with the front desk before the check in time. They were also really helpful with the self check-in process. The room was neat and tidy. I would say it was spacious enough for a solo traveller but couples or those with big suitcases might have trouble organising their luggage due to the limited floor space. The only downside I would say was a sudden stale smell emitting from the bathroom on one of the nights. I had to close to door to prevent it from spreading and the smell was still there the next morning but was gone after I came back likely from the daily room service. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch too but there are also two nearby bakeries if you want more options other than the onigiri and miso soup they provide. Honestly, I wouldn't mind booking the same place when I come back to visit Japan."

"Fantastic experience. Free laundry. Free breakfast for all (plain udon noodles/soy rice/fashion soup/seaweed toppings). N LINE Metro is 5 mins away (oji station). Free toothbrushes/razors/unlimited towels/soap/shampoo/conditioner. Also a sauna but only for men is included. 7/11 supermarket is 2 mins walk. Lots of food places around that are open until around 11pm. Highly recommend!! Only thing I will mention is that the bathroom is tiny (as in, you will headbutt the door when getting off the toilet) and the mattress is a lil uncomfortable but honestly, I cannot complain and will recommend to everyone. There is also a complaint here in the reviews about a leakage in one of the rooms. We stayed in that exact same room and can confirm that the problem has been resolved and there was absolutely no leak. Lastly, bathrooms are private. Kitchen is shared downstairs."

"The hotel was a bit difficult to find via GPS through the name but once we used the actual address itself, it was very easy to find. It's literally next to the train station and there are some nice local eateries nearby, as well as convenience stores. The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. Next time I come to Tokyo, I will definitely stay here again."

"A big thank you to the reception staff for their friendliness and assistance with our hotel room booking. They were very accommodating throughout our stay. The location is excellent—just a 3‑minute walk to the nearest train station, making it easy to access everywhere with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby (though halal options can be limited). The surroundings were calm and not noisy, even with a café and pub close by. While the room was slightly compact, it was very comfortable with a pleasant ambience. Definitely going to repeat the stay again in the future."

"Location is good, so conveneint and close to JR train station. There are many restaurants, shops and minimarts. There is street for shopping around too. Staffs are so helpful and kind. Room is fit for me and facilities are available. Restroom is a bit small but it is ok, they also give water bottles during stay ( 1 per day). The train station is easy to travel to other place and not too busy. I will stay again here."

"Good for budget stay, room clean and had a good night sleep. The hotel dont have elevator and the room is quite small. Location is great since its located near JR Otsuka, with 7-11 located just around the corner. the water pressure is good and we had a good shower as well."

"Great stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo Akabane. It’s just a 3-minute walk from Akabane Station, so the location is super convenient. Rooms are slightly bigger than typical Tokyo hotels, and they’re modern and very clean. Housekeeping was thorough whenever requested. Toiletries were generous, and the laundry facilities (coin or app) were a nice bonus. Overall, a solid choice and highly recommended."

The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and access transportation. Although I have traveled to many countries, I often feel that hotel services are lacking in some way. However, this hotel exceeded my expectations. All bathroom amenities were fully provided, and guests can take and use as much as they need. Even if you don’t book breakfast, free hot and cold coffee as well as a variety of soft drinks are available from 12:00 noon. Everything, from the facial towels to the facilities, was extremely clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Japan. "The accommodation is near the station and not far from the shopping area. A convenience store is a short walk away. I initially thought the bathroom was shared, but it was an en-suite bathroom with a very large bathtub. Unfortunately, the bathroom was very cold. The room is quite large for two people, but the extra bed made it a bit difficult to move around. A key is provided for late-night check-ins, and there's luggage storage available, but you have to do it yourself by leaving a sign in front of the elevator."

"The hotel is very close to Tabata Station, which makes getting around super convenient. The room wasn't too small, and it offered great value for money. Plus, there's a breakfast spot and a convenience store right downstairs."
