This was our third hotel during our Chinese New Year road trip, and it was by far the best in terms of service. Although the room wasn't huge, it had everything we needed. When you're traveling, a hotel room is mainly for sleeping, so cleanliness, quietness, safety, and good service are the most important things. We truly felt at home here; every staff member was as warm and friendly as an old friend. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding – plentiful and hygienic. Even the lady making the wontons was all smiles and so gentle, always reminding guests to eat more, and encouraging kids to eat fruit so they'd have energy to play later. Plus, having a free parking lot in this area is such a great bonus for a road trip. I'd happily recommend this place to everyone I know, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were very friendly and provided great service. There's also complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. The decor has a bit of a retro vibe, which I really loved. I feel it was great value for money and definitely recommend it.

I specifically chose All Seasons for my trip to see a show by myself. First off, the hotel is really clean and the facilities are well-maintained. The front desk service was also excellent; they tried their best to accommodate my room preferences. Now, for the main point: the hotel's location is incredibly convenient for both getting around and ordering food delivery! This is especially true if you're planning to visit museums or science centers. The value for money is truly exceptional.

The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very polite. They provided two room cards. The room was spacious and had a small balcony with a table. Inside the room, there was a washing machine, a microwave, a wardrobe, and an overhead cabinet. It’s perfect for a long stay, and the soundproofing is also very good. Honestly, booking this hotel for less than 300 was great value for money.
There were a few downsides, though. For example, the breakfast was a bit subpar compared to other Hanting hotels. The sink was right next to the desk, which sometimes led to the desktop getting wet. Although you need a key card to use the elevator, you can enter the hotel directly through the emergency exit. Also, the bedside power outlet was loose.

The hotel environment is great, and the location is excellent. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and the rooms were cleaned promptly. All the staff were very professional. It was a very satisfying stay. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were thoughtful, with attentive and meticulous service. It's an ideal place to stay for business trips and leisure travel. The staff are absolutely wonderful! 👍🏻 Something I ordered couldn't fit in the robot at the front desk, so two staff members specially came up to deliver it. That was really thoughtful.

We were in a hotel with a young man. In general, I liked the hotel, the room is nice. But if you look at the room, it already looks a little shabby. There's a buffet for breakfast, and we've always found ourselves breakfast. But if we didn't want to eat Chinese food, we went to McDonald's across the street. And there's also Luckin coffee nearby.
The enjoys close proximity to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Oriental Art Center and Century Park. Metro Line 9, Line 6 and Line 2 are also within walking distance. Those searching for delicacies can head to the Chinese restaurant or Western restaurant. In addition, they can try some barbecues. Those traveling on business can make use of the meeting rooms and a business center. Those looking for recreation can relax at the spa, chat with friends at the teahouse or sip a cup of coffee in the coffee shop.In addition, Wi-Fi access in public areas and charged parking are on offer.

I've stayed here before and found the breakfast and service to be excellent. This time, I chose the same hotel again, and it was just as good – affordable, hassle-free, and convenient. The room was quite spacious, there's a delivery room for parcels, and the cleaning staff was very friendly. The food delivery robot even brings meals right to your room, which is super convenient and keeps things neat.
What truly stood out was when my suitcase wheel broke. I bought new wheels and wanted to borrow a screwdriver from the front desk to fix it. Instead, the front desk called over someone from the engineering department. To my surprise, the engineer took the time to replace all four wheels for me, and there was no extra charge! This level of service was incredibly impressive. It really shows how warm and attentive hotel service in China can be. I'm truly grateful.

We had a great stay at this cozy and friendly hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and our room was nice and clean — they even left us some fruit as a welcome gesture. The breakfast was good, and there was also a coffee machine in the lobby, which was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

A very nice, comfortable, and peaceful hotel in an excellent location. The reception staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to assist whenever needed.
During our stay, the weather was rainy, and we were pleasantly surprised when the hotel kindly provided us with complimentary umbrellas. We only discovered they were a thoughtful gift when we tried to return them at reception. 🥰
The only area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, which could be enhanced by offering more European-style snacks.

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!
GGuest UserThis Bund hotel stay was absolutely amazing! It's just a 5-minute walk to the riverside, and my room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a perfect view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' – I could watch the Oriental Pearl Tower light up at night right from my bed. The smart toilet and automatic curtains were super convenient, and soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the river view was just heavenly! The freshly baked croissants at breakfast were so good they were practically addictive. The rooftop bar had incredible night views, and the cocktails created a fantastic ambiance. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room and sent welcome fruits, and the robot delivering food was adorable. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. Plus, free laundry and drying service was such a thoughtful touch! The location is unbeatable – Yu Garden and Nanjing Road are within walking distance, and the subway station is right outside. For around 400+ RMB per person, it felt like a thousand-yuan experience. As a detail-oriented person, I was completely won over. I'm definitely booking this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!
MMenglitanle. The facilities are great, and the room is spacious. Every time I come to Shanghai, I stay at this hotel. The front desk service is excellent, and the cleaning staff do a thorough and meticulous job. I highly recommend this place; they even have free popcorn at the front desk and complimentary whiskey. My girlfriend and I always stay here. The movies are also great, and there's a free membership that allows screen casting. Rooms with windows offer a view of the plane trees.
IimnotminFrom the moment you step into the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, the elegant charm of Old Shanghai beautifully intertwines with the Bund's vibrant bustle. From your room, you can take in the Lujiazui skyline, with the Huangpu River's day and night flow just outside your window. The personalized concierge service from Aaron Echole was incredibly meticulous, and the entire staff, from concierge to the front desk, exuded the calm sophistication of a long-standing luxury hotel. Enjoying a 'Shanghai Club' cocktail at the Long Bar in the evening felt like stepping back in time to the social scene of a century ago. An absolutely impeccable stay.
GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus!
However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices.
Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort.
On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.
EElianaCThis review is long overdue! I was in Shanghai for a business trip in early March, and it happened to be raining heavily then. The underfloor heating gave me the warmest, most comfortable night's sleep, and the duvet cover felt incredibly soft. It was my first time staying in a Shikumen building, and the courtyard was so unique and stylish. Both the courtyard and the room's interior design were absolutely beautiful. The unit I stayed in was located on West Yan'an Road, very close to Xintiandi and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. It was perfect – I could just stroll back after dinner in Bei Li. Check-in was also a breeze. I saw that the host manages several other unique B&Bs, so I'd love to try them out sometime!
JjaspenI've wanted to stay at the W Shanghai - The Bund for a long time, and finally got to during my recent trip to Shanghai. It wasn't as perfect as I'd imagined.
First, the good points: The environment is nice, and the cleanliness is decent. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. The outdoor bar was the best experience.
Now, for the less satisfying aspects:
1. Previously, when staying at hotels, you could contact scalpers or certain individuals on platforms to use their membership tiers for room upgrades. Since I booked in advance, I contacted them early about a possible upgrade. I was told that if there was an available room type on the day, I could be upgraded. However, on the day of check-in, they claimed there were no rooms available and didn't upgrade me. At the time, I checked the Ctrip app and saw that rooms *were* available. I'm a platinum member with upgrade benefits, and I still didn't get one.
2. My Ctrip booking included two complimentary drinks, but the front desk didn't provide vouchers during check-in. I only found out at the bar that I needed to go back to the front desk to get them.
3. I had a lot of things and wanted to use the black bag in the closet. Unfortunately, it was broken, and the hotel hadn't replaced it in time.
GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, we slept soundly. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities were comprehensive and had everything we needed. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient – we could easily get to wherever we wanted to go, and it was still quiet, not noisy at all. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and highly recommend staying here!
GGuest UserI stayed here temporarily for a visa appointment. Although the room is small, it's reflected in the price, and it was perfectly fine for one person. The location is downtown, close to everything. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm very satisfied! ✅
