"The hotel is located not far from St. Joseph's Church, visible from the entrance, within a 10-minute walk. The street in front of the hotel is the main street of the area, lined with restaurants, supermarkets, and markets, making it very convenient. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the subway station; a subway ride to the Old Town takes about half an hour, and a taxi costs around 20 Canadian dollars. I booked a superior suite, which was basically a one-bedroom apartment. The room's renovation was probably only two years old; although the materials were simple, it was relatively new and clean, and fully equipped, even with pots and pans. We were assigned a room on the back street, and the bedroom was inside, so it was completely quiet. Most importantly, the price was excellent, offering exceptional value. Oh, and if you like desserts, don't miss the tiramisu at the bakery across from the hotel."

"Great place, no complaints at all. Free parking is nice, surrounding with walkable eatery is great.
Don't expect much from the breakfast. Good to have free hot coffee and tea at lobby all the time.

"The hotel situates a bit north to the city, the nearest metro station Plamondon takes you 10-15 mins walk. Another alternative way to travel is to take bus route 17 or 160 which is downstairs of the hotel.
The hotel doesn’t look new but obviously some renovations had been done before. In contrast to those negative comments I read before, I do think that the overall service was not that bad. The breakfast provides muffin, bread with butter and jam, cereals, cornflake, milk, tea and coffee, fruits. There are staff who are on duty at counter all the time I passed by. They are quite helpful. The down sides include the floor layout of the hotel, as there are four rooms which are located at the end of the floor which takes you down 8steps and walk up a few steps again. For elders with big luggage may not be good at all. Besides the janitors use quite heavy bleaching agents to clean the restaurant and public area which creates some stinky strange smell. The interior renovation was rather coarse, air conditioning is a bit noisy. Other than that you can get what you pay for."

"The Hotel was conveniently located near the metro to allow for quick access to the downtown area. The staff were friendly and polite. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. My only negative remark concerns items left right around the elevators on our floor. A half finished soda can remained on the table at the elevators for most of our stay: certainly it was trash, but I don't know why housekeeping didn't clean it. In addition a luggage cart sat in the hallway near the elevator for for a night or two. Certainly these are not major issues, I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it."

"Hotel location is particularly good, the bus stop is at the door, convenient to travel (to the Royal Mountain and the airport train station need to change once). As for the art museum and the bustling area, it is just a walk away. The house is an old house, there is no elevator, and people who have difficulty going up to the third floor are carefully selected, but when checking in and leaving the store, the front desk is very enthusiastic and quickly sends people to help carry the boxes. The rooms are spacious and have everything that should be there (coffee maker, bathrobe, ironing board). The bathroom is spacious, the facilities look old, but they are not vague, the heating is strong, the bathroom hot water is very good, beyond expectations, and I have a good night's sleep. The toilet's water pipe is pressurized every few minutes, noisy, close the valve before going to bed, and open it in the morning. The breakfast is rich and affordable, and the tableware is a serious stainless steel knife and fork porcelain plate, which is much better than disposable tableware. Really recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is about 600-700 meters from the subway station, which can be a bit of a trek if you're lugging suitcases. The hotel itself is newly renovated with excellent facilities and powerful air conditioning. Just be careful not to confuse it with the Residence Inn next door."

No. 6 of Premium Hotels in Montreal"I booked this hotel again on the last day of my return trip. The room facilities, hygiene and environment were still very good, but the floor I was assigned this time was lower, the orientation was not as good as last time, and the window in the room was not as big as last time, facing a big white wall. I contacted the front desk and they changed me to another room. Another thing I didn't understand was that all the bottles of shower gel, shampoo and lotion in this room were empty. After calling the front desk, they sent someone to restock them, which was quite timely. As a high-end hotel, this kind of mistake should not be made."

"Booked this to be close to McGill for my brothers graduation and it was a prime spot! The room was spacious but dark, only light was from the lamps and the doorway light. Didn’t check out the pool but they had a private and clean laundry room which I appreciated + a nice gym! Service was OK though."

GGuest UserWe loved this Moxy! The only slight downside was the location - it was just outside of both the Old Town and the main part of the city, a little bit stuck in the middle of no where. This wouldn't be a deal breaker for us, but was a little bit inconvenient a couple of times when we just wanted to pop out to a shop and the nearest was 20 minutes away. However, the rooms were great, clean, spacious, with everything you could need provided in the stash room. We ate and drank at the bar one night, which was fantastic service and good value. However, the pool/gym facilities were incredible! I loved finishing my day with a swim and a dip in the hot tub or sauna, and my husband regularly used the gym. All in all, great hotel!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Railwayparc Montreal, Tapestry Collection by Hilton for one night (June 28–29) with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience.
From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel welcome. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and guided us through the check-in process with a smile, making everything quick and hassle-free.
We stayed in an accessible room, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very peaceful, allowing us to relax comfortably. The accessible bathroom was especially impressive—it was large, well designed, and featured both a spacious walk-in shower and an accessible bathtub, which was a great touch.
The hallways and common areas were also spotless and quiet, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
The only small suggestion I have is that it would be great if the hotel could provide room slippers. Since the bathroom has tile flooring, it became quite cold to walk on barefoot, and having slippers available would make the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, we had an excellent stay and were very impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding customer service. I would gladly stay here again the next time I visit Montreal and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

GGuest UserThe room is clean, toilet clean, i like the soap provided. The setvices also good, i requested to checked out at 1pm, they allowed. The location also near downtown, old port by walking. I used bus 747 to the YUL airport, the bus pickup point also near arounf 350m only from hotel.
I read the review before said a lot of homeless but near hotel during I stay njust 1-2 only but not near hotel. Rocommended because room also big enough

The bathroom was functional, good shower pressure, plus toiletries and towels provided. Daily cleaning is available on request; just let reception know.
Location couldn't be better: just meters from the metro, with supermarkets, shops, and a pedestrian street full of food options right nearby.
Breakfast is basic but sufficient: bagels, waffles, bread, muffins, cereals, plus juice and coffee. It won't wow you, but it gets the morning started. Overall, very cost effective.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a bustling central area, though it's a bit of a walk to Chinatown (about 15-20 minutes). It seems to primarily cater to Western guests. The front desk is on the 10th floor. The hotel boasts a lot of external greenery, an artificial stream, and even ducks on its sky garden. Be aware that there are several steps between different sections of the hotel rooms. While there are ramps for luggage, it's still quite inconvenient, so I wouldn't recommend it if that bothers you. The room had one super large bed and a sofa bed right next to each other. Unlike some hotels that provide at least a partition between the sofa bed and the main bed, there's no privacy, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who value that. I stayed for two nights, and the hotel charged a C$250 deposit. A week after checking out on the 20th, the deposit still hasn't been refunded, which is a stark contrast to my later experience at the Hilton Vancouver (where the deposit was returned the very next day). If this is an issue for you, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Like hotels in the US, Canadian hotels generally don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or toothpaste.

GGuest UserExcellent location where you can walk nearly everywhere - and there's a metro right down the block. Cean rooms (though some old stains on a couple things were found). Reception and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is cute, the koi pond reception area is such a nice little touch to a trip. Beds were comfortable and room cleaning was fast and detail oriented. Only issue I found was the water fluctuated in temperature from very hot to very cold constantly, so showers were a bit uncomfortable. I would consider staying here again.

Many details show poor renovation quality, such as the bathroom vent cover, which wasn't properly secured and fell off, which was quite dangerous. The swimming pool has a large waterslide, which is a big plus.
