"The hotel is right next to Chinatown, and the subway station is conveniently located across the street to the left of the hotel's main entrance. If you turn right from the main entrance, you'll find a Southeast Asian food street. It's a fantastic location, just a 7-8 minute walk to attractions like the Old Port, Notre-Dame Basilica, the underground city's fountains, and the Berlin Wall photo spot. What was most surprising was the hotel's Chinese-style decor, and even the food ads in the elevator were in Chinese, which felt very welcoming. We booked a twin room, and it was quite spacious with two comfortable queen-sized beds (1.5m). Some front desk staff speak Chinese, though not always available. Overall, the service was good. The only minor downsides were that the room didn't provide slippers or a kettle, and there was no complimentary bottled water."
"Loved this hotel! It was right in Centerville and walking distance to several restaurants, cafes, and parking garages. The room was clean and immaculate and had a nice city view. Housekeeping cleaned out our room without having to request it. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Breakfast came with our room which consisted of fresh pastries. Fruits, cereal, yogurt, eggs and several beverage options (juices, coffee, and water). I will definitely stay here again!"
"The room is OK, but you have to wait for breakfast to be ordered, which is not very friendly to us Chinese and those who are in a hurry. It is a cultural problem, not the hotel's problem. The breakfast is not tasty."
"Really enjoyed my time here—the location was excellent and convenient! Monarque
The room was well-stocked with all the daily essentials — they even had an iron, a hair dryer, a washing machine, and a dryer, which made our stay so much more convenient. And the room was clean and big! Plus, Monarque — a very famous and delicious French restaurant — is right downstairs. Would definitely recommend!"
"This apartment is perfectly situated in Old Quebec City, only a 10-minute walk from the iconic Chateau Frontenac. With restaurants right downstairs, it's incredibly convenient. Housed in a beautifully renovated old French-style building, the apartment combines a stately exterior with a modern interior. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities (washer and dryer). I absolutely loved it!"
"Decently great stay. I would come back if I were to solo travel and had to stay somewhere downtown.
Pros:
- location: central, pretty, accessible, amazing. Local friends were impressed it was in such a central yet “nice” place in the middle of the city.
- service: helpful, chill, nice staff. Available even at midnight.
- design: fits the Montreal Aesthetic PERFECTLY. Inside old buildin, made modern, yet keeping the most beautiful old features restored. Just being here made it feel like I was staying at a nice place.
Cons:
- 50CAD is a bit steep for a hostel. But there was a jazz festival and it is Montreal during summer.
- the lockers being inside the bottom floor room was a little loud. Easy to use but the noise of the opening doors was annoying
- capsule size I am 193cm/6ft4. I did not fully fit inside the capsule. I had to lay “diagonally” and somewhat not fully relaxed.
- heat: the “AC” is there but during summer it is not enough. It is doable but if you are sensitive to heat at night it is something to consider. You can always open the capsule doors and it is nice and cool but that is a personal choice.
(P.S there is a remote for the TV behind the “cabinet”. If you miss it and accidentally turn on/off the main power of the capsule you may miss it)"
"I paid online for the room to avoid getting there and find the hotel sold out. I was scared the hotel wouldn’t take cash for my deposit but they did and refunded on my check out, the location was convenient for me, I would definitely come back here for a longer stay."
"We stayed for one night at L'Appartement Hôtel and had a wonderful experience. Excellent staff and service, great downtown Montreal location, nice breaktast, and a clean room with a comfortable mattress and a balcony. The large swimming pool and penthouse area upstairs offer an amazing city-center view. We arrived early and were able to check in without any issues.
Highly recommended.

"The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and it came with a kitchenette, an induction cooktop, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, and various kitchen utensils, including bowls, plates, cups, spoons, utensils, dishcloths, and a microwave. It met all my basic needs, the only problem being that I couldn't do laundry.
It's located in the city center, near the Peel subway station. The surrounding area is well-developed and close to McGill and Concordia."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserIn Old Montreal, you have to take the subway, but there is a cathedral, a park mart, and several restaurants nearby. Room condition was good. However, I had to pay a security fee of 200 Canadian dollars. It was inconvenient to hear that it took some time to get a refund.
GGuest UserWe loved this Moxy! The only slight downside was the location - it was just outside of both the Old Town and the main part of the city, a little bit stuck in the middle of no where. This wouldn't be a deal breaker for us, but was a little bit inconvenient a couple of times when we just wanted to pop out to a shop and the nearest was 20 minutes away. However, the rooms were great, clean, spacious, with everything you could need provided in the stash room. We ate and drank at the bar one night, which was fantastic service and good value. However, the pool/gym facilities were incredible! I loved finishing my day with a swim and a dip in the hot tub or sauna, and my husband regularly used the gym. All in all, great hotel!
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Railwayparc Montreal, Tapestry Collection by Hilton for one night (June 28–29) with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience.
From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel welcome. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and guided us through the check-in process with a smile, making everything quick and hassle-free.
We stayed in an accessible room, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very peaceful, allowing us to relax comfortably. The accessible bathroom was especially impressive—it was large, well designed, and featured both a spacious walk-in shower and an accessible bathtub, which was a great touch.
The hallways and common areas were also spotless and quiet, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
The only small suggestion I have is that it would be great if the hotel could provide room slippers. Since the bathroom has tile flooring, it became quite cold to walk on barefoot, and having slippers available would make the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, we had an excellent stay and were very impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding customer service. I would gladly stay here again the next time I visit Montreal and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
GGuest UserMy stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal from April 3–5, 2026 was an overall very positive experience.
The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore Old Montreal and nearby attractions without any hassle. The suite-style rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a full day out. I especially appreciated the separate living area, which added a nice touch of comfort and privacy.
The complimentary breakfast was a standout feature, offering a solid variety of hot options like eggs, meats, and potatoes, not just a basic continental spread. It definitely set a good tone for the day. The evening reception was another highlight the happy hour drinks were excellent, with a great selection and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day.
Service was friendly and professional throughout my stay. Staff were helpful, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.
If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be that the hotel can get a bit busy during peak hours, especially around breakfast time, but that’s expected given its popularity.
Also the parking was a bit pricey .
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for couples, business travelers, or anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Montreal. I would gladly stay here again.
GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bonaventure. The hotel is on the 10th floor of Place Bonaventure with underground parking which is super convenient. The heated outdoor pool was amazing to relax in. It was a very popular spot! We ate in the dining room a couple of times and enjoyed the food both times! Rooms are large, king bed was comfortable and our view of the duck pond was great! Felt like we were in a rural setting, not downtown Montreal! I highly recommend this hotel!!
HHihiwongThis hotel is ideally located close to the metro station, making travelling around the city extremely convenient. The fresh bagels served for breakfast were delicious, and overall it offers fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend this place to all travellers.
NNannanxiaoQThe hotel's location and price are excellent. The only issue is that rooms facing the street can be quite noisy at night. Perhaps it's because we got a special rate and were given a room on the lowest floor (third floor). It was particularly loud at night, especially on weekend evenings! On the plus side, it's right across from Chinatown, which is very friendly to Chinese guests.
YYigit DI chose this hotel because of the good reviews I read online, and I can happily say I wasn't disappointed with my choice.
Check-in & Parking
Our check-in process was completely smooth and hassle-free. We parked our car in the hotel’s free parking lot. It was quite packed—I assume there was a wedding or another big event going on at the time—but despite the crowd, we managed to find a spot for our car.
Room & Amenities
The room was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the floors were spotless. This is a multi-story hotel with a functioning elevator. I learned that it used to belong to a major hotel chain before it changed ownership and name. You can definitely feel that legacy, as it still maintains a certain standard of high quality. The building itself doesn't look worn out at all.
Another great perk was the ice machine; we were able to fill up our icebox for the car free of charge, which was super convenient. The room's AC worked perfectly, the TV had plenty of channels, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable and smooth.
Location & Value
The hotel is located close to the airport, making it an excellent choice for travelers who need easy airport access. While it is a bit far from the city center, it worked perfectly for us since we had a car. If you don't have a vehicle, the distance from downtown might be something to consider, but for our needs, it was just right.
Conclusion
Overall, I really liked it. The pricing was very reasonable for what it offers. It’s a clean, comfortable, and highly stayable place. I would definitely recommend it!
AAnonymous UserVery good, the facilities are quite complete, the price is not high, there are English and French services, there is free parking, there are good restaurants near the highway, but the sound insulation is not very good, the room upstairs will hear the sound
