"This hotel is ideally located close to the metro station, making travelling around the city extremely convenient. The fresh bagels served for breakfast were delicious, and overall it offers fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend this place to all travellers."

"I was really surprised by this hotel. The hotel is small and not in the centre but it is well located, you can walk to the centre or take the metro (there’s a station really netas the hotel), and it was a really good value for money. The staff is nice, speak English and French and were really helpful. The room was big enough for the 3 of us and had all amenities needed. The view… well, it was for the other rooms so we just kept the curtains closed. There is a living room with coffee for guests that I liked. Breakfast was also better than I was expecting and we just got our drink from the lounge and took to the breakfast room. It’s a simple breakfast but had scrambled eggs, fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal… They don’t have parking but there’s a car public park 2 minutes away. We left the car there and walked to the old Montreal."

"Best location: Within 2 minutes walk to metro station Berri UQAM ( orange line) connecting to green and yellow lines of metro. Airport bus stop is within minutes from this metro station. Major tourist attractions like Old Port, Notre-Dame Basilica, Jacques-Cartier ( old Montreal) are within 25 minutes walking distances. from the hotel. It took us less than 15 minutes walking from the hotel, so we went to a very popular bakery shop - Coco in China town for buying freshly baked bread almost every day of our stay at the hotel. Besides that, countless restaurants, pubs, shops, a few theatre along the Sainte-Catherine Street. The most amazing thing is a big supermarket is just within the same building ( 1 minute from the hotel lobby) where we can buy drinking water and fruits always and small gift items ( maple syrup etc) as well at reasonable prices. Services: staff are friendly and helpful Size of room: very spacious, we stayed for a 2 queen beds room. The sofa & a small table is fantastic. On the whole, the hotel is well decorated, clean and neat. It does not have much facilities like a 4/5 star hotel, but Starbucks , the surrounding restaurants, fast food ( ie McDonald ) and ready made food ( sandwiches /salad/roasted chicken/ sushi etc) in supermarket can always feed the hotel guests."

"The hotel's location is excellent. Many attractions in the old town are within walking distance, and for those further away, there's a bus stop right outside with the 747 route. However, there's no way to heat water in the room, not even a coffee maker, and the front desk doesn't provide one. The pot of coffee offered by reception each morning is gone before 10 AM. We arrived around 8 AM, and the front desk insisted we couldn't check in until after 4 PM, not even a minute sooner."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with this brand new hotel, priced much lower than other hotels I'd booked in other cities. The hotel is in a great location, diagonally across from the subway station, making it convenient to St. Joseph's Church and the old town. The room was a bit small, but it had everything you needed. The best part was the free breakfast, which had far more options than Toyoko Inn, and the waffle machine was adorable. Highly recommended. There were two minor flaws: 1. The hallways were quite smelly because it was so new, but the room was fine; 2. The nearby Catherine Street pedestrian street was crowded with homeless people, which made the atmosphere a bit eerie."

"great hotel, the reception was so nice and open the front door for me 2 times when I got back late and can't open it. the room is clean with everything you need. Great choice for such a price."

"The vertical space was ample, and I had a fulfilling day. However, the other guests in nearby rooms were very loud, and the sound echoed through the walls constantly. So, if there are people who don't respect others' privacy, it might be a bit tough to stay here."

"This is the best youth hostel I have been to in the past 20 years. I also stayed at samesun recently, and everything was better than it except breakfast. Clean and comfortable. There is a luxury residential area nearby, close to the metro station. If you arrive by train, it is best to get off at Gare Lucien-L'Allier, which is closer than central. But it is still within walking distance"

"The hotel is right next to Chinatown, and the subway station is conveniently located across the street to the left of the hotel's main entrance. If you turn right from the main entrance, you'll find a Southeast Asian food street. It's a fantastic location, just a 7-8 minute walk to attractions like the Old Port, Notre-Dame Basilica, the underground city's fountains, and the Berlin Wall photo spot. What was most surprising was the hotel's Chinese-style decor, and even the food ads in the elevator were in Chinese, which felt very welcoming. We booked a twin room, and it was quite spacious with two comfortable queen-sized beds (1.5m). Some front desk staff speak Chinese, though not always available. Overall, the service was good. The only minor downsides were that the room didn't provide slippers or a kettle, and there was no complimentary bottled water."
