This place is amazing! Seriously, everything from the location and service to the facilities is top-notch. It's a huge, very professional establishment right across from the Sydney Opera House and super close to the ferry. The only slight inconvenience is that you always encounter stairs on the way to the subway, which can be a bit tiring with luggage. The quad room having its own private bathroom is a big plus. My bunkmate even saw the staff member making up my bed, which was nice. There's a bar on the top floor with live music at night, and the restaurant on the second floor is my dream kitchen! They provide pots, pans, and cutlery, and I guess the 'free' food available is just what previous guests left behind. I honestly can't think of many downsides, though being a bit far from Coles is one minor point. It's also very clean, and the cupboards are convenient.

I made a same-day reservation and arrived, only to be told the deposit was $1,300 instead of the original $100. It’s not that I don’t have the money; I had been traveling for three months, so my credit limit for that day didn’t reach that amount. Since the room accommodation was prepaid in full, I asked to check in with just the normal deposit, but they refused to the very end. I acknowledge that this is hotel policy, but I felt like it could have been resolved if a manager-level official had approved it, yet they insisted it wasn't possible. What’s even funnier is that when I asked if they could refund me if the deposit didn't amount to that, they said that wasn't possible either. I’ve traveled to 65 countries over four years and used to be a Hyatt Globalist, but this is the first time something like this has happened, and I’m just laughing because it’s so absurd. I had a similar experience at the BVLAGAR Hotel in Tokyo a while ago; back then, check-in was naturally allowed (since I had paid in full), but they let me in on the condition that I refrain from using the Mino Bar. Here, however, they refused to budge. They claim there are cases where same-day reservation guests vandalize property. I really don't understand how that has to do with a same-day reservation at all. I was disappointed that there was so much ****** in such a beautiful country like Australia, and the hotel was disappointing as well. Of course, I doubt Australians care anyway. Considering that the essence of the hotel business is hospitality, the overall attitude is terrible. There is no superficial ******, but their eyes speak for themselves. This is the first time I've left a review after traveling abroad for four years. The location is good, though.

Almost no view to speak of. Location: Less than a 10-minute walk to Circular Quay. Room Type: 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 bathroom. You can request two single beds by communicating with the hotel in advance. The washer and dryer are located near the room entrance, away from the bedroom, to minimize noise. Dining: Breakfast is a small buffet, and each person can order one main dish. The restaurant offers à la carte dinner service; it's not busy, so no reservation is needed. Cons: The overall service was quite cold; no one greeted us when we entered or left. Most of the restaurant staff looked Chinese but only spoke English.

Friendly Irish Pub and hotel giving home style service next to the Harbour Bridge in the Rocks Area, a short walk from Circular Quay. Family style, friendly and caring service. I arrived very late but the staff waited for me and carried my luggage up the stairs. They upgraded me to an ensuite room with corner spa bath and queen size bed. The room was very clean, with a flat screen TV, stainless steel electric kettle, bar fridge and tea and coffee was provided. The spa jets were powerful and enjoyable, and the warm Irish hospitality much appreciated. I definitely recommend this hotel for a warm and friendly service, makes you feel at home in an excellent location, at a fraction of the price of the many other expensive hotels in the immediate vicinity

Nice place to stay. Loved its quaint appearance and decoration. Conveniently located to the tourist spots. Lots of options to eat nearby if you prefer not to eat in their restaurant. Convenience store is close by too. Our Queen heritage room was spacious and clean. However, the heating system was not working properly despite putting it at 32degrees it felt like 18degrees. The room didn’t feel warm enough. Hot water system needs to be checked as on the day we were supposed to leave I went for a shower at 5:30AM but the water never felt hot despite running it for a few minutes. My companion had to skip the hot shower. Highly appreciated the lady receptionist who let us check-in early as we were looking forward to lying down to rest after flying from overseas. Would recommend to friends and family if heater and hot water is not issue to them.
