The room was spacious, and all the facilities were new. The 24-hour front desk was really convenient, allowing us to check in smoothly even after celebrating New Year's Eve. Breakfast was Western-style, with plenty of bread and fruit.

The hotel is very good and the location is very good. We paid extra on the spot to upgrade the room type to a city view room. The hotel room is simple but comfortable. The lobby is very design-oriented. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but I went to drink coffee. It felt very good. It is also convenient to go shopping at the door. It is also close to the seaside pier. It is not expensive to take a taxi to the airport. I like this hotel very much.

I had a great stay at ADGE Hotel Sydney and would happily stay here again. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent throughout my stay, with the room cleaned to a consistently high standard every day. The only area that could be improved is the air conditioning. At times, the temperature settings didn’t seem to respond properly, making it difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The location is good, although it’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest train station, so it’s something to keep in mind if you rely on public transport. That said, the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and cafés, making it a pleasant place to stay. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return on my next visit to Sydney.

First, the negatives. About half an hour after we checked in, a male staff member swiped his card and opened our room door. He said he was delivering hangers, but we hadn't requested any, so perhaps they were meant for another room and delivered by mistake. It was quite a shock regardless. I didn't report it to the staff during my stay, but afterwards, I made sure to double-lock the door every time I entered the room (before, I only locked it at night). Now, for the positives. The location is excellent, very close to Central Station with many bus and light rail options nearby, making getting around super convenient. I stayed on the eighth floor, and while I could still hear traffic noise at night, which was a bit loud, the room's soundproofing was otherwise good, as I couldn't hear any noise from next door. The room was also very spacious, with a fridge and a safe. Overall, I recommend it.

I stayed 3 hostels (all dorm room) during 1 week in Sydney and I liked Big hostel the most in term of the spacious room and strategic location . I recognized that sharing with more people is actually better option because more people, the room is bigger, meaning we would have better common area. I booked the bed in 4-bed room before in other hostel and the room was too tiny, almost no common space for social conversations; when opening the door, u face straight to the bed, and all u want to do is staying in the bed instead of talking with others.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is centrally located, and the front desk manager is very friendly. The hotel is in the heart of the city, with plenty of cafes and shops within walking distance. Cons: thin walls, and a couple of nights with noisy neighbors (students). Otherwise, everything was great.

The Good: - comfy bed - stable hot shower with refillable shower gel bottles - fridge - washing machine plus dryer - lots of power ports - very central location - easy enough to contact the owner for info The Not So Good: - only one towel for three nights, maybe another one will do? - washing machine needs some maintenance, quite dirty and needs some cleaning/dust removal. The dryer works, but can overheat, probably due to dust collecting. - pillow was too thin, maybe another pillow will do - room was a bit small but not surprising, was a bit hard to place my large luggage Overall, I’d recommend the place despite some small issues that could make it the perfect place to stay. The price isn’t too bad, a bit more expensive than nearby hotels/hostels with the same room type, but I’d happily trade that for a quieter place to sleep.

It is an airbnb style so it is understandable there is no lift: had to carry luggage up to level 2 room. Room is rather small too, but it is a stone throw away from the Central train station. Self service checkin, so everything is via automated door lock with passcode, even for the room. Shared toilet/bathroom is located at level 1, so just be mindful to bring your phone along with you for the passcode (or memorize it). The wifi though, needs improvement. I barely could connect to wifi in my room. Even at level 1 where the signal is stronger, the wifi connection keeps dropping. It seems that the wifi could only support 1 device at a time.

Pros: Convenient location. Everything is close by. The room is small but stylish. There's a shared kitchen with everything you need. Cons: It felt like the window, walls, and tiles in the bathroom had never been cleaned. They changed the bed linen for fresh ones, and that's it. During our four nights, they didn't clean the room even once, and they didn't take out the trash. Cockroaches I would recommend cleaning it up and getting rid of the cockroaches, and it will be fine.
