"The room was big and clean. King size bed comfortable. Location near to many shops and restaurants. About 9 minutes drive to cataract gorge. However the bathroom needs updating with mixers instead of 1 cold and 1 hot water tap."
"It has a history, but it's very well preserved.
The interior is stylish and beautiful, offering panoramic views of Launcheston.
We went on a weekday, so early check-in is possible. Free parking makes it a great place to stay."
"We enjoyed our two-night stay at the hotel. The staff at the reception were incredibly accommodating, offering us a ground floor room without even needing to be asked. This was especially helpful given my husband's mobility limitations.
The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a queen-sized bed that was perfectly fine for us. The location was excellent, with numerous restaurants nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary bottled water in the room.
One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning sunset views from our room, which made for a truly memorable experience."
"perfect location
Location: Middle of Launceston CBD. Walk to Brisbane St Mall, restaurants, Seaport in 5min. Cataract Gorge is 15min walk
Clean: Room was very clean with fresh linen and daily housekeeping
Lift: Available and fast – crucial if you have heavy bags
Quiet: Didn’t hear street noise despite being central
Bed: Comfortable and good size
Overall great value and location. Ideal if you want to walk everywhere. Stayed April 2026."
"Quite a satisfactory motel, the room was very spacious. The hotel is located on a small hill and has parking, with three rows of buildings. The city park is just across the road, making it convenient for shopping."
"I really loved this quiet city. The hotel's location is excellent; you can explore on foot after checking in, and it's right across from the cathedral. Parking is convenient, with a lot right next door. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. Although the facilities are a bit dated, it offers great value for money. The front desk staff included a lovely Chinese lady who was very warm and polite."
"The room was clean, comfortable & spacious, with lots of fresh air & natural light. A older building, but rooms modernised nicely. Plenty of free parking. Located high on a hill in central Launceston, it provides beautiful views over the northern side of the city. It’s walking distance to the CBD, river and City Park monkey enclosure. Would happily stay again 😊"
"This is my ideal accommodation: it has free parking, a separate toilet and shower with a heater, a microwave, and kitchenware like cutlery and dishes, so I can cook for myself. The environment is clean and hygienic, and at $550, it's excellent value for money."
"I have a group of 4 people, rented 2 rooms, free parking spaces, not luxurious but enough, of course, the relative price is high, the manager is very good.
There are Coles and 24-hour Kmar opposite, so you can buy everything without fear!"
"Very nice staff and it is clean and comfortable. Every time when we come back, we can feel very relaxed. Outside is cold but our place is warm and we can have very relaxing hot shower.
There is free internet and there are many T V channels and movies to see. I can keep in touch with my family overseas. Kids and I can enjoy movies together.
The location is very good. It is in the city and very convenient to take public transport or visit tourist information centre to join tours. There are lots of warehouses, department stores, shops, cafe or restaurants around. I recommend anyone to stay at Launceston Central Apartment Hotel."

Amazing
KKwokHere’s the translation:
1. A very cute and Modern room, beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos.
2. The hosts are very friendly; it's basically their home, with only two rooms available for guests. If you’re lucky, you might encounter their grandchildren swimming and playing, hearing their laughter.
3. The room's amenities are quite high quality, and the space is ample.
4. Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available.
5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer.
6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston.
7. If you want a quiet and comfortable space, this is a great choice.
AAnonymous UserI booked several hotels for my business trip. The service at this one was exceptional, and the chocolates at the entrance were absolutely delicious. However, the room itself was quite old, and the facilities were a bit dated, which made me really question the cleanliness. It seems many hotels abroad, even five-star ones, can be quite old and not as clean as domestic chains like Atour or Ji Hotel.
TTzu ChiaThis hotel offers free drink vouchers, and it's super convenient that they have laundry facilities. It's only $3 per wash, and laundry powder and drying are free, which is incredibly cheap. The hotel staff are also very friendly. The hotel's restaurant is right across the street, so it's just a short walk for meals! The whole place is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and they even provide T2 tea bags, which is a nice touch.
AAnonymous UserThe apartment was located around 15-20 mins walk from the transit centre, but very close to cataract gorge. The accommodation was spacious for 3 adults and well-equipped. Some of the amenities were a little old and dated (e.g the sofa and the ventilator in the toilet), but all were in good working condition.
RRainswashbucklerReceptionist is very helpful and friendly, making check in a breeze. The facilities are not too bad, however, unfortunately, I was placed above an inconsiderate, loud and messy individual which marred the experience even though I requested for a bottom bunk. Location is amazing, a very walkable city. Downside is there is no public transportation to the airport.
GGuest UserInformation about checking in was sent to us via email a day before were were due. Staircase was narrow, so was quite difficult to bring large luggage up.
Room looks wonderful and tastefully done. We had the suite, and as such, has an adjoining bedroom as well. The balcony was nice for a sit down to relax.
Breakfast provided at the ground floor dining room as simple but sufficient for us. Bread toast, cereals, juicies, tea & coffee.
We stayed 2 nights, The location is not far from Launceston main CBD. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, so was quite peacefull. Street parking in front of it is available, but parking charges takes effect from 9am, but did not impact us much as we are out.
TTEB03130The hotel staffs were welcoming, friendly and parking was also included in our stay. As we are a family of 5 pax, the hotel has provided two rooms which are interconnected. This makes it convenient for us as a family to connect. The rooms were clean and tidy with great showers. Breakfast was included in our stay with a great selection of ala carte breakfast, with good selection of beverages and coffee. Highly recommended.
AAJ921This hotel is a fairly standard business-style accommodation overall. The front desk was efficient enough with check-in, but the service attitude was a bit cold, leading to an overall average service experience. Room amenities are quite basic, and the view is limited, offering only a glimpse of the river without much else to highlight. The hotel's surroundings are relatively isolated, mostly factories and tool shops, so local conveniences aren't readily available. The building seems to be a conversion of an old granary, offering a strong sense of space, but the overall atmosphere feels a bit stark and lacks warmth. It's more suitable for a brief stopover during a journey or a business trip; for a vacation or leisure stay, the experience might feel rather ordinary.
YYuchenThe hotel itself is very beautiful, great location as well. However the room feels very stuffy, the balcony is locked only a small window is left open and the screen window is incredibly dusty, I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned. Also the housekeeping is very unprofessional, she came straight in without even knocking the door around 9am while we are still sleeping, just saying hello when unlocking the door. Unhappy about that.
GGuest UserNo signage at entrance/driveway
Stained towels and bath mat
Not overly clean bathroom
Very out dated, but in saying that very cheap
We stayed for an early flight next morning,so it done the job if you are just looking for a quick stay
