"I only ever stay at the Kirketon when I need a hotel in Darlinghurst. Great location close to all transport. As it’s in Darlinghurst there’s plenty of food options to choose from. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. I always ask for a bathtub in the bathroom as not all bathrooms have one. Staff are always very friendly and ready to help with anything."

"It was wonderful! [Overall] Even though I was traveling alone, I was assigned a rather spacious room and had a very comfortable stay. Despite my limited English, the staff were considerate and supportive. The bathroom facilities were also very clean and comfortable. [Points to Note] - The shower is 'waterfall-style' only (meaning it's a fixed overhead shower). - You need to be careful when showering as the shower area cannot be completely separated from the sink and toilet. [Location] The location is excellent. It's about a 2-minute walk from King's Cross underground station, and the path is straightforward and easy to navigate. [Amenities] Most essential amenities are provided, including a refrigerator, air conditioning, hairdryer, electric kettle, and glasses."

"Had a great stay at ADGE Sydney! The location was excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and attractions nearby. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"The window facing Sydney's city center offers a delightful view. Staying here is more affordable than in the CBD, and a family of four can comfortably fit in a double queen room. The hotel is right above King's Cross metro station, which is incredibly convenient. Of course, walking to the Royal Botanic Garden is also completely fine, and from there you can continue on to the Opera House and Circular Quay. There are supermarkets nearby, both red (Coles) and green (Woolworths/Metro), and while they aren't huge, they're perfectly adequate for buying some food. Most of the dining options nearby are fast food, with a few small restaurants as well. You can buy an Opal card at the convenience store inside the metro station, which is a must if you're traveling with children."

"The location is great, quite close to the train station and the city center. From the hotel, you can walk through Hyde Park all the way to the Sydney Opera House. The scenery along this route is beautiful, making for a very pleasant walk. The room is a bit small, but there's enough space for one person and a suitcase. The soundproofing isn't very good. Across the street is a police station, and there's a Japanese breakfast spot in the alley downstairs that's very popular every morning."

"Strong point: Ideal location close to the metro exit. It is possible to go to the center of Sydney on foot and if you walk around Victoria it is possible to have a very beautiful view of the Sydney landscape. Weak point: The hotel has a laundry room, however it is a shame that it is not clean. The hotel is not new, the room was ok for a short stay."

"The location is excellent, very close to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The cleanliness was also very good. I forgot my pillow at the hotel and called in the evening to inquire. We had forgotten the room number, and the front desk said they were busy but would look for it and contact me. It's been two days and I haven't heard back, so I've given up hope. There's no breakfast, but it comes with an induction hob, pot, cutlery, and plates, so you can cook something yourself."

"Just like in the photos, the room was spacious and clean, and everyone was friendly, yet it was still quiet. 🤗 There were lockers too, so I didn't have to worry about anything as long as I had my key. The other guests were well-behaved, and the staff were all charming and kind. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I was very satisfied. The location was also good; although it's a bit of a walk from the station, it didn't affect my sightseeing at all."

"The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the city attractions, and there are plenty of food and drink options conveniently located right downstairs, making city walks a breeze. The room hygiene was quite good. If you needed cleaning, you just hung the little sign. If you opted out of cleaning, you could get a 10 AUD voucher daily (though we didn't use it, so we didn't take it; you probably have to actively ask the front desk for it). The room facilities were standard, and hygiene was well-maintained, except for the slightly outdated bathroom facilities, where the shower head switch needed to be twisted. But overall, it was quite comfortable and perfectly fine for a tourist stay."
