Highly recommend the Duplex Two-bedroom parent-child room if you are travelling with children. The room is cosy and comes with thoughtful, kid-friendly amenities such as a potty seat, two-step stepper, room slipper, Lego, soft toys, etc. The staff are also friendly and helpful when I requested some help with returning the power bank even when I arrived at the hotel at almost 10pm. Additionally, there is a wide selection of breakfast for you to preorder in advance. Truly enjoyed our stay here.

I had an amazing stay at 昆明 梦景望月酒店! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. I really loved the traditional decor, it gave the hotel such a warm and authentic atmosphere, with every corner thoughtfully designed to blend comfort and cultural charm. The breakfast was a real treat, offering a fantastic variety that made starting the day even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting 昆明 who wants a relaxing stay with a touch of local character

Born in 1999, I've always had a special affinity for turn-of-the-millennium architecture. These grand, classic structures, embodying bold visions of the future, also exude a 'dreamcore'-like surreal atmosphere that perfectly aligned with all my childhood aspirations for big cities. The Kunming Grand Park Hotel also opened its doors in 1999. While its facilities might show the passage of time, it still retains an old-world elegance and style. I particularly enjoyed the slow-moving, retro-decorated elevator; each ride felt like a brief journey through time. Walking through the corridors, it was as if time had gently receded, transporting me back to the atmosphere of the early 2000s. I often found myself standing by the window, gazing out at the city's evolving skyline in the distance. I couldn't help but wonder: What would the person who stayed in this very room twenty years ago have been like? Did they also stand by this same window, gazing at the sky and street views of their time, filled with anticipation or uncertainty about the future? It felt as if a thin membrane of time separated us, invisible to each other, yet sharing the exact same view in that moment. I loved it here so much; it felt like opening a window to another time. Yet, as night fell, the clearer that atmosphere from the past became, the more it evoked a gentle melancholy—like a grand, yet now untouchable, old dream. And precisely for this reason, I know I will certainly return.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Kunming Railway Station. The staff were incredibly professional, warm, and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. They can also arrange for a non-smoking floor. Rooms are designed with a classic, elegant ambiance, ensuring fresh air and a peaceful, undisturbed stay. The in-room projector provides free access to VIP movies. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated having a desk in the room, which isn't always the case in budget hotels. The room had a classic, slightly old-school feel, but the carpet was soft and quite clean, and the large sofa was very comfortable. The bedding was decent. I had requested a high floor, and the front desk kindly accommodated me, providing a room with a nice view. On the downside, the alarm clock (likely set by a previous guest) went off loudly after 6 AM, which was quite startling. Additionally, one of the bedside lamp's knobs was broken and didn't work properly, and a power outlet by the desk wasn't working either. These should definitely be repaired. I highly recommend the Fuzhaolou restaurant right next to the hotel; it's an excellent spot for a meal.

The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. It wasn't overly spacious, and the ceilings were a bit low, but the size generally matched the description. It's a suitable choice if you don't have very high expectations. The bedding and amenities were generally satisfactory. The front desk provided good service, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent and very filling.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The lobby on the 4th floor is only accessible by 1 of the 2 lifts in the building. The other lift goes to another hotel. I believe all the 4th floor belongs to this hotel so you don't need to take the lift to your rooms. Upon arrival, they gave us a welcome orange drink while we waited at the lobby to be checked-in. The room & toilet are so spacious and is exactly as pictured. For 2 days, the hotel gave us cut fruits (watermelon, honeydew & dragon fruit) and also the 鲜花饼 flower cake from 花满楼 Miss Happy! The hotel is close to where the food is so we were never hungry. Thank you to 邶秋 for sharing useful info via WeChat during our check-in, otherwise we would not know there is a free self-service washing machine & dryer at room 8857 and a gym as well. It was pretty quiet the whole time I stayed so we were well-rested. I am already looking forward to my next stay with this hotel!

For this trip to Kunming, our family of five specifically looked for a hotel with convenient transportation and close proximity to the pedestrian street. After browsing hotels and guesthouses directly within the pedestrian street area, we found them either too expensive or with poor hygiene, so we eventually settled on Haitain Hotel. It offered excellent value for money and was very clean. We booked three king-sized rooms and stayed for three nights. The hotel is only two metro stops from Kunming High-Speed Railway Station, and it's right across the street from the metro exit. Jinma Biji Archway and the Old Street are also within easy walking distance. From our room windows, we could even enjoy views of the Kunming city streets. The only slight drawback was that rooms facing the main street could be noisy at night due to car horns. However, the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs. Overall, it's a great choice!

Excellent service by the 2 male hotel employees who went out of their way in assisting us with transport arrangements so we do not miss our train at the railway station. Very convenient location as the airport bus stops in front of the hotel, the subway station is within a few minutes walk from the hotel and a shopping mall is located right across the hotel.

Service was a bit lackluster as some of the staff didn’t really seem happy to serve us (eg breakfast staff, some of the receptionists), and the room had a bit of a smoking smell despite being non smoking.. sad we couldn’t use the free laundry service as that’s why we booked it but otherwise location is pretty good, short walk from Nanping pedestrian street and the railway station to take a train to other parts of Yunnan. Breakfast was ok but nothing spectacular. Had fun talking to Xiaodu too. We checked in in the middle of the night with no fuss.
