Highly recommend! This hotel is super convenient with an excellent location right opposite Grand View Park. You don't even need a taxi to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Dian Lake, and it's perfect for a comfortable stroll. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was warm and attentive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. The room was quiet and peaceful, and getting around was a breeze. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money. It's a perfect place to stay when visiting Kunming.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We originally booked a 60-square-meter hot spring king room with a terrace and breakfast. To our surprise and delight, the hotel kindly upgraded us to an even larger room free of charge. The upgraded room was incredibly spacious. Besides the bedroom, it featured a separate living room, a large balcony, an enormous bathroom, a jetted tub, and a private sauna. The moment we opened the door, we couldn't help but exclaim, ”This is huge!” The room's design heavily incorporated wood, complemented by high, distinctive ceilings, creating a strong resort vibe. Our favorite areas were the balcony and living room; they felt incredibly open and were perfect for simply relaxing, enjoying tea, or chatting. After a soak in the jetted tub in the evening, followed by a session in the sauna, all the day's fatigue just melted away. This setup far exceeded our initial expectations. The hotel's service also deserves praise. While a free upgrade isn't mandatory, it's these extra touches that make guests feel valued and cared for. The biggest takeaway from this stay is that we booked a hot spring room but unexpectedly enjoyed a suite-level experience. From the room size and facilities to overall comfort, everything was exceptionally satisfying. I would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation.

This newly opened Ming Shu is located in a gated community that is within walking distance to the Haigeng Dam, where the seagulls are. It a a very safe and upmarket area. On the way there, you will pass by many cafes and restaurants serving local specialities. Service is 5 star ***** This Mingshu is a family business, with Mr Deng (see photo) at the helm, with his wife and sister-in-law. Therefore, the service is very personal, with them helping me to buy a luggage last minute. Front desk opens 24 hours. They are all very attentive and helpful. They do airport transfer for a fee and help with my luggage up the stairs. They provide some cakes and pastry with tea (see photo) everyday at the lobby. There is also a tea set for us to enjoy (see photo) in the room, as well as a massage chair in mine. The room itself is as shown in listing and it is very clean. It is a smart room with Xiao Ai voice system. The room has both air conditioning and heating. Overall, I am very happy with this Ming Shu and the service! Highly recommended to stay here!

A great and comfortable hotel! Location: The hotel is directly opposite Daguan Park and Yu Garden, so we could start exploring right after checking in on the first day! It's also a quick taxi ride to Cuihu Park/Jiaochang Middle Road, usually around 20 minutes. It's about 45 minutes from the airport and roughly 40 minutes from Dounan Flower Market. Ambiance: Located by Dianchi Lake, it's very quiet overall. The room was incredibly clean, equipped with smart home devices, and ordering takeout was super convenient. We could order things like 'Zhen Tan Fried Chicken' or 'Shang Shan He Cha' (tea) and a robot would deliver them to our room. The hotel also offers sound bowl meditation classes in the evening, which I tried and found very therapeutic~ Service: The service was excellent. The staff at the front desk were all very kind and gentle. They even proactively helped us with our luggage when we took a taxi to the airport, which was incredibly helpful. Plus, breakfast runs until 10:30 AM and offers both Chinese and Western options. During my two-day stay, I tried the rolled noodles and rice noodles, both were delicious, and I especially loved the accompanying mushrooms. Overall, a very satisfying trip! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Kunming, haha!

Dianchi Lake bright moon enters the window ｜ live in the mountains and rivers of Kunming Every time I come to Kunming, I like to live near Dianchi Lake. In the morning, the window is a large lawn. When the weather is good, you can overlook the Xishan ”Sleeping Beauty”. In the evening, sit and watch the sunset and blow the hair. The time seems to slow down. The hotel as a whole is the style of Nanfa Manor. The garden, spiral stairs, and swimming pool are all very good. There is no need to deliberately concave shapes. It is very holiday-like to record. There is also a metasequoia forest behind, the air is particularly comfortable, I heard that in autumn and winter, the whole forest will turn red, it is worth coming again. The room is the simple holiday style I like. The goose down quilt and zero-pressure pillow are very comfortable to sleep, and the whole house is smart and convenient. 24-hour swimming pool, gym, laundry room are available, and you will not feel bored for two or three days. Staying here for an afternoon will not be boring. The garden, swimming pool, and spiral stairs are all very good. When you are tired, sit in the coffee bar for a while, go back to the room to take a bath at night, and travel happiness up! ! ! Location: Situated within the Sunac Houhai scenic area, it's very close to Qikong Bridge and offers a lovely green 'grass sea' walking path, which is very convenient. It's about four kilometers from Daguan Park. This location keeps you away from the tacky and overpriced old streets. Nearby, there's a delicious Yunnan Daoguo Bridge Rice Noodles restaurant where the sour fruit and red soup noodles are excellent. There's also a great handmade bakery with fantastic cakes and some coffee shops with really creative flavors. The night view is also beautiful, with many lanterns. Service: The front desk staff were absolutely amazing, a big thumbs up! The tea cakes served with afternoon tea were also very tasty. Breakfast: Made fresh for each table. I stayed for two nights and there were different menu options to choose from. On the second day, my room was upgraded to an English-style river view king room, and the view was fantastic.

Facilities: We booked a family room. We expected a 1.8-meter bed and a 1.3-meter bed, but we ended up with two 1.8-meter beds, which delighted my daughter. The room was spacious, with a long table. It was divided into two areas: the inner and outer areas, with the bathroom at the inner end separated by two curtains. This provided privacy while still allowing us to share a large space. Cleanliness: The room was exceptionally clean. The bedding was brand new, spotlessly white, and spotless. Although Kunming is known for its rainy weather, the weather was pleasantly cool and not humid during our stay. The climate was a pleasant surprise for our family. Environment: The B&B is located in a villa complex, a few minutes' walk from the Dianchi Haigeng bus stop. My family and I found the area quite comfortable. The complex is quiet, with several B&Bs nearby, some occupied and some seemingly unoccupied. Overall, it felt peaceful and safe. The B&B is a small, independent villa with succulents planted downstairs. The environment is small and charming, but not overly large. Service: The service is very good. It is run by a family. The girl will deliver breakfast to the room around 8 o'clock in the morning. The breakfast is a small steamed bun, a small dumpling, a box of purple rice porridge and a tea egg for each person. I can eat it full, but if you don’t like it, you can choose to walk out of the community and walk a few hundred meters towards the dam. There are many local delicacies, rice noodles, mushroom soup, etc. I have eaten at several of them and they all taste very good.

The environment is fantastic and new, the service is impeccable, and all the facilities are top-notch. The amenities provided are high-quality, the mini-bar is well-stocked and complimentary, and the location is super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be back!
