I came to Kunming for a few days to relax, and a friend recommended this hotel. It's conveniently located right across the road from the East Gate of Daguan Park, and you can also walk or cycle along Dianchi Lake. What truly impressed me was the hotel staff – from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant, almost every attendant I encountered was friendly and enthusiastic, which is quite rare. The breakfast selection was also quite rich. It felt a bit far from commercial and residential areas, making dining out a little inconvenient. This hotel is ideal for travelers who have ample time to slowly explore Daguan Park and the surrounding Dianchi Lake area.

## Facilities: Although the interior facilities are a bit dated, they come with up-to-date features like electric curtain openers. ## Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and pool staff) were all very enthusiastic and responsible, offering me a lot of help. However, some corners and edges could use improvement, such as the large water stains on the balcony. ## Environment: The environment is quiet. While the location isn't exceptionally unique, it's convenient for getting to the train station and Dianchi Lake, and it's very peaceful for sleeping at night. ## Service: All the staff were very hardworking and enthusiastic. Thank you for all the help during my stay. We had two children, and they even gave them a hot spring ticket and a souvenir. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a family trip to Kunming.

Even a little floral water was provided, making mosquito repellent a breeze in the summer. The towels were individually wrapped and sterilized, making them clean and hygienic, ensuring peace of mind. I enjoyed my stay this time and will definitely bring my family back next time so they can experience this wonderful experience too!

Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene. What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless. A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

I was on a business trip and decided to explore the Dianchi Lake area. After reading countless reviews online, I finally booked this place. My first impression was how clean it was; for a budget hotel, it definitely meets the standards of a high-end one. The decor is very tasteful (unbeatable compared to other properties in this price range within the complex that I've seen), clearly showing a lot of effort, and it feels like it won't go out of style even in ten years. The landlady is warm, chatty, kind, and genuine, making you truly feel at home. The hotel is incredibly close to Haigeng Dam and the Dianchi Lake cable car. This complex must be the closest to the cable car. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the dam in the evening. The complex is especially quiet. Coming back and sitting on the terrace, feeling the breeze, and enjoying the fruits and tremella soup provided by the owner, all my work worries temporarily melted away, and I felt my soul was healed. I checked in quite early and even got to see other rooms. The owner didn't blindly partition the space to maximize the number of rooms; each room has its own unique character. I was most impressed by the two rooms on B1. I thought they might feel stuffy, but the space and airflow were top-notch. They are the most well-ventilated rooms without external windows I've ever seen, with no strange odors at all. The larger room is 60 square meters! Oh my goodness! Especially after walking around the complex in the afternoon and seeing other guesthouses, I felt even more strongly that Lin Dian Ju is truly the king of value for money. It's particularly suitable for families traveling with children and couples. Plus, the owner's recommendations for nearby dining and entertainment were all excellent. I've never stayed in such a satisfying guesthouse. I'll recommend this place to all my friends who visit Dianchi Lake!

The lush greenery and tidy pathways in the yard kept our child entertained, exploring all the flowers and plants. Inside, the room was decorated with a simple yet elegant style, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. The overall atmosphere was serene and peaceful. It's perfect for both family trips and relaxing getaways. We've already added it to our list for our next trip, highly recommended!

The rooms are designed in a gentle cream style, exquisitely decorated and cozy, making for a very comfortable stay. The facilities are also thoughtful, with the smart toilet being a highlight. The owner is kind and welcoming, and even built a 'cat villa' for rescued stray cats 🏡 The cats are super friendly and love to be petted! 😍 There are plenty of dining and entertainment options around the guesthouse, making it very convenient for going out and finding food. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic stay!
