Hotels in Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kunming

This S Hotel in Kunming was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip. To be honest, Kunming was our last stop, and the hotels in Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La beforehand were all just average. So, I didn't have high expectations for this place, especially since it was so affordable. The elevator and front desk seemed quite basic, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. The overall white decor was stunning, and most importantly, it was incredibly clean and hygienic – even the toilet area smelled fresh, which was a huge plus. I had booked a king-size room and got a free upgrade, which was great. The room has a digital lock, so it's convenient not having to carry a room key when going out. Plus, the hotel's location is excellent, right on Kunming Old Street Pedestrian Street, surrounded by lots of delicious food options. It's also close to both the airport and the high-speed train station. This hotel truly offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose it first next time I visit Kunming.

Location: Excellent (on Jinbi Road), less than 10mins walk to TangZi Xiang subway station (whereby you can reach Changshui airport without changing lines), less than 10mins walk to Jinma Bijifang (the JinMa arch), located just the end of Nanqiang Street Food, 15-20mins walk to Kunming Old Street. Absolutely very convenient! Rooms: Absolutely very clean and comfortable! Our room was big and spacious (Room 1003), with strong pressure shower! No limescale in bathroom or bathroom grime. Totally sparkling clean! Service : Very helpful staffs. Btw, they are located on the 10th floor. Registration table is on the 10th floor-24hours service. Daily new fruits given by staffs and they even offered to lend me a powerbank when I needed one for my day trips. Courteous and friendly staffs. Laundry: One of my best solution! Washing machine is provided in the laundry room and detergent too!

What a gem of a guesthouse I found in Nanping Street, truly a little sanctuary in the heart of the city! ✨ The design is fantastic – minimalist yet cozy, and the location is absolutely perfect. It's within walking distance of Nanping Street and the Old Street, close to the subway, making it super convenient for sightseeing and grabbing a bite. The room was spotless, the bedding soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. All the facilities were new and complete. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, even offering local travel tips. The value for money is off the charts, a must-stay when you're in Kunming! Plus, the owner's service attitude is exceptional, they respond in seconds and can even help with parcel deliveries and luggage storage. [playful]

The environment is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and it's right next to a snack street. Transportation is convenient, and Green Lake, Nanping Street, the pedestrian street, and Kunming Old Street are all not far away. It's a hotel with an excellent location. The front desk staff are friendly, and the hotel's natural surroundings are lovely. It's suitable for families with children and convenient for business trips.

As a frequent business traveler, I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location is excellent, with convenient access to dining and transportation. The room was spacious and bright, and the facilities were well-maintained, especially the high-speed Wi-Fi, which made online meetings seamless. The front desk service was also very professional. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit this city.

This loft Airbnb truly exceeded my expectations! The room was even better than in the pictures, with a soft, milky white color scheme throughout. The wooden floors felt lovely underfoot, and everything was impeccably clean – not a single flaw to be found. The large sofa in the living room was incredibly plush, perfect for curling up and watching movies on the projector. The bedding was also super comfortable, ensuring a really sound night's sleep. The spiral staircase was a fantastic design feature, and the upstairs area was surprisingly spacious, never feeling cramped at all. The host was incredibly thoughtful too. The check-in instructions were crystal clear, and they were always quick to respond to any questions. The location was also super convenient, with plenty of dining options and easy access to transportation. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 26 Life hotel thank to the staffs and its location. What we like most here: 1. Staff: Xiao Bai and Xiao Wan, the 2 receptionists are lovely guys. Xiao Bai pick us up outside of the buiding to help us with the luggage. He is also professional in handling his work. he seems a bit serious on his face but once you know him, he is a nice guy. Xiao Wan is a lovely young boy. We talked a lot, he made us yummy milk tea, bought for us ice crea, fruit tea....and gave us some sourvenir. They are the ones made my stay here. Thank you guys! Moreover the hotel staffs also helped to received a package for me before my check in. 2. Location: it locates on the 4th floor of a building. It has a good location, where we can access easily to the shopping mall, the food stores. There is a small food court on the ground floor of the same building. The 1st store after the stair case once you enter the building sells pretty good noodles. 3. The balcony: my room is 201, with a balcony overlooking the garden on the ground and an open space to the big building in front, which gave us a peaceful corner to sit and talk and enjoy the nice spring weather. 4. The costume: the hotel offers free Miao costume to wear and take photo inside the hotel. Xiao Wan, the receptionist also help to take soem nice photos for us. What should be improved: 1. The cleanliness: the room facilities were a bit old but the cleanliness is definitely something can be changed and improved: like the table in the balcony, which should have been clean the surface. 2. The amenities: the big bath towels are torn out at the 2 edges. They can be reused as footmat or rag to recycle. New bath towel should be seriously considered. 3. The TV: A slow internet connection is causing the TV to stutter and lag, making it impossible to watch.making it not enjoyable to watch.

The room had plenty of natural light, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly kind. Since it was our first time there and we were unfamiliar with the area, the owner thoughtfully guided us. They also allowed us to check out late without any extra charge or scolding, which we were so grateful for. Owners like this are sure to succeed!
