Hotels in Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kunming

We were passing by Kunming and only needed to stay one night. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and the room was lovely and had everything we needed. Location was the best part, the hotel was in the livelypedestrian area but was also close to the streets so we didn't have to carry our luggage far to get a Didi.

The hotel room was spotless and very quiet at night, which is a huge plus for anyone who values good sleep – highly recommend it! The front desk staff was lovely; the lady at reception paid close attention to the notes I left on Trip.com and even gave me an eye mask. The location is super convenient for transport on weekends, and dining is a breeze with all sorts of malls downstairs and the old street right next door. Breakfast was also fantastic with a great variety of choices. I'll definitely pick this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

The hotel is at a perfect location.. its close to good eateries, tea shops, leather shop and even jade stores.. The deluxe room has a Japanese feel to it! Gorgeous and comfortable..! Communication with hotel staff are also easy, they can speak fluent English and are very helpful. Overall a good stay! Definitely recommended!

Kunming. A long name. A great location for a five-diamond hotel 😊 -----Definitely a great choice, given it's a Ctrip 5-diamond hotel. -----Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center 🌈 👍1. Location. It's truly in the absolute center of Kunming. Downstairs is a pedestrian street, and the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway is right next door (within a 5-minute walk). It's a paradise for food and snacks, with several local internet-famous spots (like roasted pancake, braised dishes, and Qiaoxiangyuan Rice Noodles). ❤️2. Service. Their service, from the front desk to housekeeping, is excellent. We booked different room types this time, and they specially upgraded our rooms to ensure we were all on the same floor. Thank you! ☕3. Breakfast. The hotel's breakfast offers a good variety, generally meeting our needs. There's still room for improvement. 👏4. On the third morning, some of our family members had to catch a train, and the hotel specially packed breakfast for us and left it at the front desk. Five-star service! 🙏5. We left some old clothes in the room that we didn't want, and the hotel specifically came to confirm whether we had forgotten them or if we intended to discard them. Very conscientious and responsible! 👏 👌6. The lobby is a bit small. The guest rooms seem to be on floors 23-28, offering fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding area. Truly excellent. 🤝Suggestion: The garment steamer provided releases steam very quickly once turned on, which could easily cause burns. I've already shared this feedback with the hotel. Summary: The price is a bit high during peak season, but it's a worthwhile choice during off-peak season. If I had to give a score, I'd give it a 90.

One thing about booking hotels in China is that you can't usually find the name of the accommodation in English and on Google maps. And that was the main reason for choosing an international brand like Ibis (although the location on Google maps is slightly off. Location is perfect. Near to the main walking street, and just minutes away from subway station. It is about 20-30 minutes walk from Green Lake park if you prefer to be staying near there. But the park is nothing special. Room is comfortable, and like all hotels in China, very reasonable for the price. But I find the pillows too soft. Shower is strong and separated from the toilet. They even have a Japanese-style toilet 😄 Breakfast is ok only. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The accommodation is super close to the pedestrian street. The front desk staff are very friendly, I really liked them. It's just a few minutes' walk to the old town. The hygiene is good, and the cleaning lady was particularly nice. There was even 'Fat Boy Happy Water' (coke) in the fridge, haha! A very pleasant stay.

We loved it here! The location is excellent, it's clean, and the facilities are complete. Although the reception staff didn't speak English, it wasn't a problem because we could easily communicate via WeChat, and they took great care of me. The bathroom has separate shower and toilet areas, and importantly, a bidet (though the pressure wasn't very strong, it was better than many hotels that don't have one). They also provide bottled water, and you can ask for more. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, if I have the opportunity to return to Kunming, I would definitely choose to stay here again and would happily recommend it to others. There might be a slight cigarette smell for those with a sensitive nose, but it's not noticeable for those who aren't bothered by it. The lighting in the room is beautiful, making for great photos.

Staying at Kunming's only Ji Hotel 5.0 was like stepping into a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. From the moment I entered the lobby, it was an immersive journey into oriental aesthetics, truly soothing for both body and mind. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, the room was spotless, and the food was excellent and varied. I'll definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and everyone else; it was an absolutely fantastic experience.

Very cool and authentic place , warm,poetic and nostalgic. We enjoy staying there three days. The thoughtfulness they showed us is excellent , They even offered a bucket and herbal pack to soak our tired feet. A place you want to come back.

I had a great stay at this hotel, the service was very good, with friendly and helpful staff throughout my visit. The location is excellent, easy to find, and very convenient for getting around. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was also kind enough to accommodate my request for a late check-out, which I really appreciated. Another big plus is that there are halal food options nearby, making it very convenient. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
