Hotels in Kunming Beishi District, Kunming

The room is very large and spacious, very close to the subway station, and the view is very wide on the high floor. I always stay at his house when I go on a business trip to Kunming. The front desk service is also very good and responsive.

We booked a twin room for our family trip with kids. The two beds could be pushed together, and they also provided bed rails, which was a great service. The air conditioning was a bit too strong. It got cold with the AC on, but a little warm with it off, so I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off every day. It would be great if it had smart control. The trash cans in the room and bathroom were a bit small. With more trash, things would easily fall out, making it harder for housekeeping to clean. There was a slight, subtle hum from the refrigerator, but it was only noticeable late at night when it was quiet. This might be a minor issue for light sleepers, but it's not a big deal. There are two elevators. One is a dedicated elevator, but the card reader wasn't very sensitive and a bit tricky to use. The other stops on all floors, which meant more people, but overall, it was still very convenient and fast.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is right next to Exit A of Jinxing Subway Station, just a few minutes' walk from Kunming Plaza and Xindu Longcheng. It's super convenient to get to scenic spots and the airport, making the transportation and commercial facilities absolutely amazing. The room was spacious and clean, with incredibly soft and comfortable bedding. All the basic amenities like 24-hour hot water and an independent shower room were perfect. The biggest surprise was the smart Xiaodu voice control – I could control the lights, curtains, and air conditioning just by speaking, which is a dream for lazy people like me! The super large and clear projector was perfect for binge-watching shows and movies; it felt like a private cinema experience while lying in bed. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, and check-in and check-out were super fast with no waiting. The overall environment of the hotel was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good rest. The value for money is unbelievably high; I enjoyed a star-level experience for an affordable price. Whether for a business trip or a romantic getaway, this hotel is a perfect choice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very soft. Plus, there was a mini-fridge! When I checked in, the butler, a very friendly gentleman, helped me with my luggage and was very good at chatting. He also gave a detailed introduction to the room, even mentioning that the mattress was from Mousse. My room was well-arranged, and the family room had a lot of thoughtful touches. Just a side note, when I asked for a second room key, the butler, a lady, was quite firm and said it wasn't possible. After some discussion, she did give me a power card. If I go to the northern part of Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here.

Had a great night sleep, bed was comfortable, accommodation extremely clean and well maintained. Right next to the train station and eateries just downstairs the accommodation. Will definitely stay here again.

Traveling with a child during off-peak season, we chose a double room, which was spacious and provided a good stay. The breakfast was the most satisfying aspect; the selection was extensive and plentiful. Secondly, the bedding was excellent; the bed was very comfortable, and it included latex pillows. Finally, the amenities were great: there was a gym, laundry room, and even a self-service coffee maker! A very satisfying stay! Key advantage: The room wasn't facing the street, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep!

Need to improve on the elevator's performance. One elevator is shared with trash and kitchen work therefore it is dirty and smelly. The other zone is very slow because it stops on all floors. The front desk does not speak a word of English which is not a big deal but if the hotel opens for foreigners then it might be an ideal to have staff who can accomodate foreign guests. The rest is perfect as in terms of price and facility. Breakfast is great, a lot of variety, worth money. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

My stay in the Garden Room was absolutely fantastic! The garden itself is so peaceful and elegant, with lush greenery that creates a wonderful atmosphere. The room was fully equipped, comfortably laid out, and had excellent lighting. I especially want to commend the thoughtful staff member, Yang Mei Yang, for their meticulous and attentive service; they were always ready to help, and were both gentle and professional. Overall, my stay was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, quiet and pleasant. This will definitely be my first choice for accommodation when traveling. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!

The place was located in a building housing several small hotels, but there were only two working elevators. One went directly to the 28th floor, but it was under maintenance when I arrived, so I had to wait for the other elevator, which stopped at every floor, and the wait was incredibly long. I really disliked the requirement to add the hotel on WeChat at the front desk to get the room's Wi-Fi password; it shouldn't be enforced so rigidly. The TV was on but couldn't be watched because the memory was full.

This was the most frustrating hotel stay I had during the May Day holiday. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, and when we got back to the hotel at 10 PM, ready for the kids and adults to bathe and sleep, the water coming out was yellow… Initially, they suggested letting it run for a bit, but after half an hour, it hadn't improved. We checked the sink water, and it was the same quality. Interestingly, I had washed my face and showered in the room earlier that afternoon. I then communicated with the hotel to quickly find another room where we could bathe. The housekeeping staff helped us move rooms just before midnight. Luckily, the water quality in my parents' room was fine, so we could wash the kids there. I must add, though, that the hotel staff were all very patient and proactive in handling the issue. Even though the stay was a bit chaotic, the staff were genuinely dedicated to resolving the problems, and they did so very efficiently. I hope the hotel conducts thorough checks before assigning rooms in the future. Additionally, the hotel breakfast was mediocre. Most of the food was lukewarm to cool, which didn't really suit my taste.
