Hotels in Kunming Beishi District, Kunming

The room is very large and spacious, very close to the subway station, and the view is very wide on the high floor. I always stay at his house when I go on a business trip to Kunming. The front desk service is also very good and responsive.

The environment is absolutely fantastic—very clean and comfortable. The service is exceptional! They even have a gym. I forgot some clothes in the laundry room, and the staff kindly dried and folded them for me. I also mentioned to the front desk lady the day before that I wouldn't have time for breakfast in the morning, and she had it packed up for me to take on the go. The service is incredibly thoughtful!

The hotel is really close to Jinxing Metro Station, just a three or four-minute walk. I did initially miss the entrance and went to the building across the street, but it's actually right around the corner. The room gets great natural light and is very spacious, and the projector is a nice touch. While the cleanliness wasn't 100% perfect—there was a bit of water left in the bathroom, probably from the previous guests' cleanup—for this price, it's definitely great value for money. The WiFi signal was excellent. Soundproofing wasn't amazing, but it was still pretty quiet at night.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very soft. Plus, there was a mini-fridge! When I checked in, the butler, a very friendly gentleman, helped me with my luggage and was very good at chatting. He also gave a detailed introduction to the room, even mentioning that the mattress was from Mousse. My room was well-arranged, and the family room had a lot of thoughtful touches. Just a side note, when I asked for a second room key, the butler, a lady, was quite firm and said it wasn't possible. After some discussion, she did give me a power card. If I go to the northern part of Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here.

Absolutely loved it! The host was also very kind. It's a brand-new, spotlessly clean place with excellent facilities and appliances. Being a duplex, the layout is thoughtfully designed. My only suggestion would be to have the projector opposite the sofa on the first floor, as its current placement by the bed on the second floor isn't very practical.

Our experience at the Hanting Hotel was excellent as always. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was superb – I slept soundly all night. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It's our top choice for travel, highly recommended!

Need to improve on the elevator's performance. One elevator is shared with trash and kitchen work therefore it is dirty and smelly. The other zone is very slow because it stops on all floors. The front desk does not speak a word of English which is not a big deal but if the hotel opens for foreigners then it might be an ideal to have staff who can accomodate foreign guests. The rest is perfect as in terms of price and facility. Breakfast is great, a lot of variety, worth money. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

The welcome fruit was fresh, and the warm milk before bed was a thoughtful touch, adding to the overall sense of luxury. There's also a self-service laundry room on the 13th floor, and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. Every detail showcases quality, making it a place worth revisiting multiple times!

The place was located in a building housing several small hotels, but there were only two working elevators. One went directly to the 28th floor, but it was under maintenance when I arrived, so I had to wait for the other elevator, which stopped at every floor, and the wait was incredibly long. I really disliked the requirement to add the hotel on WeChat at the front desk to get the room's Wi-Fi password; it shouldn't be enforced so rigidly. The TV was on but couldn't be watched because the memory was full.

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I found it to be very luxurious. The room was large and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. It's conveniently located near shopping, yet still quiet. The smart Xiao Du speaker for room control was a nice touch, and the shower pressure was excellent. They offer self-service laundry with both washers and dryers, though there are only three of each for all guests, which might not be enough during peak times. Overall, I had a comfortable stay, slept well, and found it to be great value for money.
