Extremely satisfied with this booking, as the staff allowed us to extend our late check-out, knowing that our children needed to take an afternoon nap. The location is also in the middle of the busiest area in Kunming and near the old street. Many shopping centers, as well as next to the central square, where you can see locals dancing at night. There’s also a dog/cat cafe in the building opposite, hence many activities for families with young children to do.

Our stay was absolutely perfect and definitely deserves a five-star rating! Excellent Location: The hotel's location is superb, perfectly situated in the city center, right by the subway and key attractions. This made shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly convenient, significantly cutting down on travel time. Spotless Cleanliness: The room was immaculately cleaned, with crisp, soft white bedding. The bathroom was sparkling bright and completely odor-free. Their disinfection protocols were also very thorough and well-executed. Outstanding Service: The service was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome by the doorman upon arrival to the efficient and professional check-in at the front desk, every single staff member greeted us with a smile and a proactive 'hello'. Any issues were addressed with impressive speed, genuinely making us feel like valued guests and completely at home.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The location is unbeatable, situated close to numerous tourist attractions and right in the heart of the city. What’s even more convenient is that it’s adjacent to a subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around. The staff were all very friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special mention goes to Da Er, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism and warm attitude made my experience even better. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for great service, a prime location, and convenience. Highly recommended!

This was our second hotel in Kunming. Compared to the dazzling variety of unique guesthouses, an established star-rated hotel often doesn't stand out as much. My husband even echoed my thoughts, saying, 'Let's just go with this one.' At first, I felt that paying over 600 RMB here didn't quite offer the same value or 'Instagrammable' charm as a 500+ RMB guesthouse, and it lacked anything truly special. However, for business travelers or anyone needing a truly good night's sleep, it's an excellent choice. The double-glazed windows provide superb soundproofing, and the hotel's service, bedding, and attention to detail are all quite commendable. I wouldn't recommend it for a leisure trip, though, as there isn't much to explore in the nearby old streets. For hotel visuals, it's best to check their official photos, as I only took a couple of quick snaps.

Having stayed at this older hotel multiple times over the past two years, I was prepared for its facilities. Its excellent location and decent soundproofing (a common feature in older buildings) have always been its main draw, despite a slight price increase from last year. However, this stay was truly disappointing. The only window in the room that could be opened had significant gaps, and most of its weatherstripping was damaged or missing. Below, on Baita Road, a construction site has been active for over a year, causing loud noise all day, only stopping around 9 or 10 PM. Furthermore, the hotel's air conditioning was practically non-existent during the day, leaving me to choose between a hot room or opening the window to unbearable noise. What's more outrageous, a staff member directly opened my door with a key card without knocking or any prior notice. They then simply closed the door and left without a word or apology. I will definitely not be choosing this hotel again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are also very nice and the breakfast is good! The hotel is very conveniently located near the Old Street and the Green Lake Park! I can only recommend it!

Location: Quiet in the bustling city, in the alley next to Lianyun Hotel, 100 meters away and a corner, there are many shared bicycles and electric bikes at the door, which is very convenient. Yuantong Road is at the exit of the alley, which is very convenient for the driver to pick up the group. 300 meters on the left? It is Yuantong Temple, Yuantong Mountain, and the zoo. 300 meters on the right? It is Cuihu Lake! There is also a subway station nearby. You can ride a shared electric bike to Yunnan University, Cuihu Lake, Huanggong Street, Old Street, and Jiaochang Middle Road. Environment: The hotel is a small building with several floors, a large yard, parking, and a Chinese-style decoration. There are many rooms and a laundry room. The room we booked is small, but it has a terrace, which is not bad. Service: Very kind and friendly

This is a historic, vintage-style hotel. The location is superb, right at the main entrance of Cuihu Park. Kunming Old Street is just 1 km away and easily reachable on foot, with the route dotted with popular photo-op spots. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they contribute to its historical charm. The service from this established hotel was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we stepped out of the car at the entrance, through check-in, and all the way to our room, a dedicated staff member was with us. We were quite touched, even a little embarrassed, that an elderly gentleman insisted on pushing our luggage all the way to our room. Upon check-in, we were offered peach gum and white fungus soup, floral cookies, and fresh fruit. The buffet breakfast was also quite varied. Several well-known mushroom hot pot restaurants are also conveniently located just outside the hotel, within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

While planning my trip, I looked at many hotels in Kunming but wasn't particularly impressed with any of them. I eventually chose this one with the mindset that it was just for one night anyway. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the courtyard. Although the guesthouse is tucked away in a small alley and its sign isn't very prominent, stepping inside reveals a completely different world from the outside. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful; they even went the extra mile to call me a day beforehand to update me on Kunming's recent weather and remind me to bring an umbrella. After check-in, the room was very clean. The biggest surprise was that on our check-in day, it happened to be one of my companions' birthdays, and they thoughtfully sent over a birthday cake – something we hadn't anticipated at all. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent, with both Chinese and Western options to choose from freely. The staff were always warm and welcoming whenever we came and went. Overall, this stay far exceeded my expectations, and I'm extremely satisfied.

I recently spent two nights at this accommodation, and while there were not many foreigners around, I still found it to be a decent experience. Upon arrival, I received a coupon, which was a nice touch, but I found that the minimum spending requirement made it less useful for solo travelers like myself. I had requested a bottom bunk but ended up with a top one, and I found the bed to be quite hard. However, the provided curtains added a nice level of privacy. On the plus side, they offer lockers, towels, and slippers, which is convenient. The bathroom, however, could use a bit more attention as it needed cleaning, and I noticed that the shower had a leak. Overall, considering the price, I can't really complain too much. The staff at the front desk were friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. Just a heads-up: there are two flights of stairs, and you'll need to walk through the restaurant/bar area to access the lift to the rooms. All in all, it’s a budget-friendly option that meets basic needs!
