This hotel is located in a building which has to share elevators with others floors. It makes me feel not safe. Not much things around this hotel to eat or see, you have to take 30 minutes subway to downtown or attractions. Taking about the room, it’s big and new with voice commands. However, the voice commands control the air conditioner which makes me crazy. You have to say the correct words to control it. After I checked in, I have tried many times to operate the air conditioner but it did not work for me. I called the front desk, they send people to control but still didn’t work. After many times trying, he figured out the correct words to say. OMG… if you don’t speak mandarin, don’t stay here. Another big problem is cleaning, see the pictures that I posted, they never clean the floor. I never heard sound of vacuum, the floor still dirty as the first day I checked in. The breakfast is simple but cold, even in the heater. Don’t know why. Overall, it is okay if you don’t mind the problems that I mentioned.

I stayed for 3 consecutive days and the cleaning service was of the same quality, which was great. Disadvantages: The hair dryer was not hot and it was difficult to dry my hair. The quality of hotel supplies was average. There were few people around the hotel and there were no street lights at night.

The most surprising thing was the soundproofing; even in the street-facing room, I could barely hear any noise, which was perfect for a light sleeper like me. The breakfast selection was extensive, covering both Chinese and Western options, with fresh and authentic ingredients, and the dining environment was very clean. There were absolutely no complaints throughout the trip; the service, facilities, and cleanliness were all impeccable, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time and have already recommended it to friends.

We spent a night here because it is a short walking distance on the overhead bridge to Kunming South Coach Station which is behind the metro station. We arrived at the airport at 1130pm and received instructions via wechat to get to homestay. Nice big and clean room, powerful heated that is voice activated. Good service. The is very good coffee at Lucking Cafe nearby and good lamb noodles on the first floor. It is located on the 7th floor of the same building as The Vienna Hotel.
