"We had an amazing stay! The camp was brand new and very clean. The beach sand was so soft! We want to thank Joey, the wonderful and attentive Camp Cayla staff who made our stay great. As soon as we arrived he arranged everything according to what we liked. He asked us if we wanted to rent a scooter which we choose to do and he organised everything! In the middle of the night we didn’t know how to turn the aircon off (we were holding it too far away) and he was at our door within a few minutes and showed us how to turn it off. He was always on-site and took care of us well! The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There were some small ants but that’s expected. We had insect spray so it was fine.
Negatives: The property is not fenced so there lots of dogs that come very close, this maybe an issue for people that have a fear of dogs or if there’s small children playing around. The bar/ restaurant/ reception area is not ready yet, there is no where to buy food close by."

"We spent 4 nights in this cozy hotel (two adults and two children) and we liked it. The hotel is a bit old, but this only adds to the atmosphere. The place is designed more for business groups, as evidenced by the large conference rooms in the main building. But during our stay, the hotel was almost deserted until some Chinese rowing team arrived - when we came for breakfast, we saw 2-3 more people - and that was it. And such solitude was a pleasant and unusual surprise.
A spacious two-level room with a balcony overlooking the pool was both cozy and comfortable. Two air conditioners on each level, a work area, a good shower, excellent mattresses, daily cleaning with replenishment of water and tea accessories.
Breakfast is typical for Thailand, without any special delights, but you will not go hungry. Fried eggs or omelettes are prepared upon request. The hotel has a wonderful large swimming pool for any level of swimmers - the depth on one side is 3 meters, there is a paddling pool for kids. There is a bar near the pool where you can order drinks, food from the restaurant and even make instant noodles. All this for a more than adequate price.
If you are tired of Thai food, then to the right of the reception in the main building there is a cool restaurant Fresco - at affordable prices they beautifully serve both local and European dishes.
Separately, it is worth talking about the place Mae Pim itself - you will find a gentle sea without waves, a large number of restaurants with local cuisine for any budget, a fish market, where for a small fee they will cook you grilled seafood. 7-Eleven is a 3-minute walk away. The almost complete absence of other tourists - a complete feeling of peace and quiet.
Of the minuses of the hotel - perhaps only poorly working, and constantly falling off wi-fi. There is also no safe in the room. Also, the staff does not speak English very well, but this is compensated by their friendliness and willingness to help. Recommended."

Beautiful, white, clean sandy beach, good location, not far from Bangkok. Convenient travel There is already a boat imported to the island. The accommodations are clean, next to the beach. Open the back door of the house and see the sea. You can walk around the island. There was a little peacock standing with its tail full. You can borrow snorkeling equipment. Run down to see giant giant clams. There were some colorful fish that could be seen. But not much variety There are hard corals, rocky corals, and soft corals. Some sea anemones need to be looked carefully.
Employees provide good service. Provide a lot of privacy to customers Good tasting food, big bowls
Do not bring food onto the island. Which is good in that it controls the amount of trash, has good waste management, and the trash can has a lid.
The shop uses bagasse straws. Friendly to sea animals

The waste water pond has a strong smell in some places.
Relaxing pavilion next to the sea behind the house Not really personal Because there were customers in other zones who came to party loudly all night. (I repeat that all night Until I woke up at night) behind our house but we didn't sit. Privacy should be reserved for customers of beachfront homes as well. I would like to ask the accommodation to help arrange seating for customers who come in groups."

Chicken house is 10 minutes away from the beach by motorbike and very quiet. The family that runs it is very foreigner friendly and helpful.

DDomOneThis might be a perfect place for grandparents, located in the middle of nowhere, there are no activities, no entertainment, not even music. Was the most boring place I’ve ever been. Is very clean and the pools are nice, food is also delicious. The front desk wasn’t as nice and welcoming as other places we’ve been in Thailand, but that’s not a big issue.
Oh, also didn’t like the fact we had to pay 100baht for the laundry bag. First time in my life I wasn’t allowed to take the laundry bag. Incredible haha

＞ Beautifully designed - the outward appearance of the hotel is quite spectacular and is very well decorated.
＞ Comfortable rooms - the beds are large and comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions and the rooms have plenty of places to sit.
＞ Room size - rooms are large and feel spacious.
＞ Cleanliness - The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas.
＞ Staff - Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
＞ Location - the location is ideal for walkability to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Negatives:
＞ Events - The hotel also hosts events which can be very loud and go on late into the night.
＞ Doors/soundproofing - We noticed that there was a significant gap in our door which meant that it wasn't particularly soundproof and we were kept awake most of the night (until 2am) by other guests outside our room.
＞ Location - although I have stated the positives about the location above, the negatives are that the hotel is in close proximity to some bar with live music or karaoke which is incredibly loud and can go on very late into the night. Both the noise from the guests at this hotel and the event down the road was very significant and kept us awake late into the night.
＞ Breakfast - Breakfast is served cold. Although they have the equipment to keep the food warm, for some reason they choose not to. Unless you are lucky enough to catch something as soon as it is placed in the container it will go cold quickly. Eggs, bacon, fried rice, local dishes etc are all cold by the time you get them which is not common for Thai hotels and also very disappointing.
Comments for the hotel:
＞ Doors - please ensure all doors do not have gaps in between. This can be done easily with some rubber lining on the door frame. This would increase the soundproofing of the room dramatically.
＞ Noise - I understand that the hotel cannot control the bar down the street which plays loud music all night but it does have control over its own events and its own guests. There should be strict rules about drunk guests making noise late into the night and knocking on doors. Nowhere in the rules does it state ”quiet hours” which I believe it should. I understand that events at the hotel serve as a large source of the hotel's income, but there's no need to neglect other guests who stay there.
＞ Breakfast - use the equipment you already own properly and keep the breakfast food hot. I do not know any Thai people who enjoy cold food and keeping the food warm would increase the quality of the breakfast dramatically. Despite being a small cafe, the breakfast has quite a variety and the flavour is good but the temperature of the food really ruins the breakfast.

AannexanonymousThis was our second stay at this hotel, as our first experience was excellent and encouraged us to return.
However, we were unaware that the hotel had expanded with a new area located approximately 500 meters from the original buildings, making it inconvenient to walk between the two zones. We booked the same hotel but ended up in the wrong building. It would be helpful if the hotel clearly labeled this new area with a distinct name, such as ”New Building,” rather than ”Garden Wing,” which caused some confusion as we previously stayed in the original garden zone.
The hotel is now much larger, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with essentials. Unfortunately, cleanliness fell short this time, as we noticed some stains on the blanket and towels. We chose not to raise the issue as we wanted a hassle-free stay.
The location is not ideal for visiting nearby attractions like coffee shops but is conveniently close to a 7-11.
While we appreciate certain aspects of the hotel, we might not return for a third visit and would prefer staying in the ocean zone instead.

- The pool is huge, great for swimming laps. It's in the sun most of the day, though there are umbrellas & shade trees. Unlimited towels are available in the lobby.
- The bathroom is clean and nicely decorated. The shower and sprayer worked well. The warm water came quickly.
- The bed made it easy to get a good night's sleep.
- International TV and movies
- Our spacious 5th-floor balcony overlooked the pool and the beach.
The location is a bit out of the way; no public transportation, so best if you drive.
The breakfast buffet has too few choices. Hope you like Thai food!

BBusara_MimmieThe hotel is right on the beach, you can walk around. The house is clean but not soundproof, you can hear people walking by and talking in the corridor very loudly. But the room is new, there is a reception room separated from the bedroom, there is little parking space, you have to park on the opposite side and have the hotel car pick you up. If you have children or adults with a lot of stuff, I recommend dropping off your bags at the lobby first.
