"This hotel in Huaguoyuan is absolutely amazing! The design features a lovely natural wood style, beautifully incorporating elements from Guizhou's local Miao and Dong ethnic cultures. I especially loved the butterfly motifs; the staff told me they symbolize blessings. They even gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which just reinforced how happy I was with my choice. Originally, I booked a different room type, but after an upgrade, I stayed in the 'Shan Muyun' room, which offers breathtaking high-altitude views of the Twin Towers and the 'White House' at night. The view was absolutely spectacular! I honestly felt like I wanted to stay even longer. I highly recommend it!"

"I genuinely recommend this hotel! The transportation couldn't be more convenient, with the subway and bus stops right downstairs. It makes getting around, whether for sightseeing or business, completely hassle-free. The lobby is clean and grand, and the living environment is very comfortable. The breakfast was the biggest surprise—not only were the flavors unique, but they also extended the dining hours until 1 PM, which is incredibly flexible and a huge plus for travelers with a more relaxed schedule. The shower pressure in the room is excellent, making for a very comfortable shower, and the hairdryer is good quality and doesn't damage your hair. Overall, it's great value for money."

"This is my second time choosing Pullman in Guiyang, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the snack street and Jiaxiu Tower, making it super easy to explore and grab food. Taxis get you anywhere quickly. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure – I felt really at ease. The breakfast selection was quite diverse, offering authentic local dishes like Changwang noodles and beef rice noodles, which tasted very genuine. The staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in, and they promptly helped with any issues. Overall, it offers great value for money. Staying here for your Guiyang trip is definitely a no-brainer!"

"Huge thanks to the hotel for their excellent service! The location is absolutely superb, just a stone's throw from Minsheng Road and Caijia Street. The room was spotlessly clean, and all the toiletries were provided and hygienic. "As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. There were no strange odors in the room, the carpet was dry, and the sheets were pristine white and wrinkle-free. The bathroom had excellent separation of wet and dry areas, and water stains were promptly cleaned. You can really tell the hotel puts a lot of effort into its cleaning and disinfection, which made for a very reassuring stay."

"This was by far the most comfortable and enjoyable stay we had during our trip to Guiyang. The location is super convenient, really close to the airport, and just a stone's throw from Jiaxiu Tower and Qingyun Market, making it easy to explore and find great food. The rooms are spotless, and you can choose between a street-facing room with views of old buildings or a quieter room on the north side. What really stood out was the incredible service; every staff member at the hotel was so warm and friendly. We stayed for three nights during our trip, with one night in Xiuwen in between, so we actually made a point to come back to Banshan Hotel. We had a street-facing room the first night and then a quieter room on the back side for our second stay, which ensured a great night's sleep! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guiyang. The two photos below are ones I took of the street view opposite the hotel, but I don't have any photos of the room itself."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Jiaxiu Tower, with tons of great food options nearby. It was lovely to take a stroll along the Qingshui River after dinner. The breakfast was rich and offered a wide variety of Guiyang's local specialties. The housekeeping and security staff were very friendly and proactive with their service – thumbs up! 👍 My only minor complaint is that the hotel facilities are a bit dated and don't quite meet five-star standards. I did notice they're in the process of updating, so I hope it keeps getting better."

They offer afternoon tea daily and a late-night snack, plus thoughtful little extras like eye masks and earplugs. Since Guizhou is often rainy, they even provide umbrellas for guests. The room has a mini-fridge that's restocked daily with water and drinks, and it's kept sparkling clean. Every day, they proactively ask if we'd like our bedding changed. The smart controls in the room are powered by Xiao Du, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. After a long day of sightseeing, it's lovely to sit by the window, relax, and have some snacks and drinks. The hotel's design is also very artistic. Located in the Huaguoyuan community, it's super convenient for ordering food delivery. We were just transiting through Guiyang, and it was close to our travel connections too. All in all, we had a fantastic stay!

LLexielilyThis was not an ordinary hotel stay. It became something I will remember for the rest of my life.
I arrived at the airport after unexpectedly injuring my ankle earlier that day and had no idea how serious it was or what to do next. I booked this hotel last minute, and from the moment I contacted them, everything changed. The team immediately arranged a car to pick me up from the airport, and I was met with such kindness, care, and professionalism that I felt safe right away.
When I arrived, they provided a wheelchair for me and allowed me to keep it overnight. They thoughtfully placed me in a more accessible room, helped with my luggage, and continuously checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. This all happened late at night, yet the level of attention and warmth never wavered.
What truly stood out was how every single staff member treated me. Each time I spoke with someone, they sincerely said to call if I needed anything, and they meant it. It felt like the entire team knew about my situation and was looking out for me. As a first-time traveler in China and an English speaker, I was honestly quite scared, but they went out of their way to make sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed.
At one point, multiple staff members even came up to my room to check on me in person and ask if I needed anything. They made sure I ate and brought me a warm meal, and I can genuinely say those were the most comforting, soul-filling noodles I had during my trip.
In the morning, they kindly offered me a late checkout until 2 p.m., again reminding me to reach out for anything at all. When it was time to leave, they made the process completely seamless. A member of the reception team personally escorted me by golf cart to the airport, helped communicate with airport staff, and ensured I received a wheelchair for my onward journey. I did not have to think or worry about a single step.
This level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. It reflects a truly exceptional team. Every person I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone working that day for taking such incredible care of me. You turned what could have been a very stressful and frightening experience into something warm, safe, and deeply human. This is a world-class team and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
I am so grateful and will absolutely stay with this hotel again. Thank you for everything.

The room type we initially booked didn't have a window, but after discussing it, they upgraded our room. The room came with noise-canceling earplugs and disposable toilet seat covers, which was very thoughtful. It offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it. The location is also very convenient, close to the provincial hospital, making it easy for medical visits.

Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower.
As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

Environment: The location is great! It's very close to the high-speed train station, about a ten-minute walk away. You can even see the station from the window, and despite being so close, it's surprisingly quiet.
Service: The front desk staff was very welcoming and spoke softly. They even upgraded my room for free! My normal check-out time was 12 PM, but since I checked in late, they extended it to 2 PM.
Facilities: The facilities are good, but what really impressed me was the bathroom's Bluetooth connectivity, allowing me to play music while getting ready. As someone who loves listening to music while freshening up, this was a fantastic feature – it really set a great vibe, and the sound quality was excellent.

GGuest UserGreentree Eastern Hotel is the largest airport hotel in Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, located at AC Park. It has four towers. Check-in is at the fourth tower. I thank the receptionist for reserving an aircraft-flying-view room at the third tower. Focal length of an aircraft taking off from Guiyang is 200mm to 400mm above.
I choose to stay at Greentree Eastern Hotel because the hotel does not charge room key deposit and it is the newest airport hotel opposite the Guiyang airport Terminal 3. I also want to test plane-spotting at this hotel. Besides, the nearest place to enjoy lunch and dinner is of less than one minute walk from the hotel, also at AC Park, and I get to enjoy extremely cheap Guizhou cuisine. I am very happy that I have selected the right airport hotel.
During my vacation at Greentree Eastern Hotel, two incidents happened.
Firstly, the receptionist told me that to print my boarding passes, I need to forward the online boarding passes via WeChat for the hotel to print the boarding pass. However, I explained to the receptionists that I have difficulties in using WeChat after registering an account. One of the receptionists helped me forward one boarding pass to his email address and from his email address to the hotel printer on Friday. I got the first online boarding pass in black and white.
On Saturday morning, I attempted the same but the other receptionst-on-duty refused to help me.
The other incident is at the hotel restaurant Bellagio (鹿港小镇). There is no restaurant staff to take the breakfast vouchers. Therefore, many guests have taken advantage of eating breakfast at the restaurant for free and before 7.30 am, many breakfast items were snapped up.
I hope that Greentree Eastern Hotel can provide better printing service and enforce the rule that a restaurant staff should be at the reception desk of the restaurant to collect the breakfast vouchers.
Other than the above, I will stay here again for plane-spotting purpose if necessary.

Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it.
