Would definitely stay here again, I had a great view from my room, and the building is tall enough that you can see pretty far out. The breakfast was up to par for CN standards, had a made to order noodle bar. Very comfortable and spacious overall, not just the room, but common areas as well, (oh and they have good coffee with a selection of Monin syrup and a variety of quality tea bags, self-serve in the lobby 24/7). They also had free laundry/dryer at the 3/f, with detergent. On the second night of a 2 night stay, there was torrential rainfall throughout the night, including thunder and lightning; the power went out twice in the whole area, at least several city blocks; there basically wasn’t anything the hotel could do about it. But all the emergency backup lighting and signage were all working properly, both in the room and in the hallway, so that was surely good. 小周 at the front desk was quite helpful and sincere, props to them, they were also super apologetic about the power outage (even though it was in no way their fault). Great stay!

I had recently come on a holiday to the city and stayed here for 4 nights. The first 2 nights were well and without issue. On the last night, i was unfortunate enough to encounter a rat in my room. It had managed to escape through a hole under the sink and I was told that all rooms had this feature when I was requesting for a replacement room. Even the replacement had issues as the wifi did not have connectivity which caused their smart room functions to not work all the way till checkout. Also, rooms do not have a line to the front desk and communication with them is only through wechat. As such, it will be difficult for travelers who do not know mandarin to have a quick response to issues easily. I encountered my room key to not be able to open my room almost every afternoon and had to face the inconvenience of either going to the front desk or waiting for the staff to come up to provide a replacement key, where both options took substantial time due to the slow lifts. Also, the gym was not in a good condition and the breakfast was plain and repetitive. I have to commend the hotel staff for their positive attitude and willingness to provide assistance whenever issues arose, but I felt they were let down by the infrastructure and setup and could only be apologetic a lot of the time. It is a new hotel, so hopefully they might be able to fix these teething issues and provide future guests with a more positive experience.

The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and the check-in process was very efficient with no waiting time at all. The guest room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room had good natural light, and all the essential facilities were well-equipped; the air conditioning, hot water, and internet all worked smoothly. The toiletries were also of good quality. The public areas were clean and grand, and the hallways were quiet, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. The breakfast offered a rich variety of dishes that were homely and delicious, catering to different tastes. All the service staff were polite, and requests were attended to promptly. The value for money is outstanding compared to other hotels in the same category, making it suitable for both leisure travel and business stays. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and sincerely recommend it to all fellow travelers.

The hygiene was excellent, and it was very quiet with a great view. The front desk staff were also very helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the taste was quite good, plus they had freshly ground coffee. The hotel is conveniently located close to both the high-speed train station and the city center, making it very easy to get around. Highly recommend!

Staying at the Sofitel Guiyang Hunter was an amazing experience, full of French romance high in the clouds ✨. The high-altitude lobby and panoramic rooms offer breathtaking views of Jiaxiu Tower and the city. The soft furnishings beautifully blend local Guizhou indigo and Miao embroidery details, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The service was thoughtful and impeccable; both the buffet and executive lounge food were excellent. The front desk and room service were incredibly responsive. The gym facilities are comprehensive, and the breakfast offers a great mix of Western and Chinese options. It's a fantastic choice for hosting clients or a short business trip – truly impressive. I highly recommend it. Plus, it's right above a bustling commercial area, making it a perfect spot for a summer getaway. Special thanks to Cat and Janice for their kind and proactive service! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had. 🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples! I traveled with my parents and a dog. This hotel has free pick-up service and is pet-friendly. I booked two rooms. The hotel facilities are new and clean. The front desk lady and the pick-up driver are very nice. It is worth recommending.

The room matched the description; it was very clean and fully equipped. Pots, pans, bowls, and chopsticks were provided, so cooking was allowed. It was very close to the subway station, making transportation convenient. There were many restaurants nearby, a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, and a Walmart and Jiufucheng Shopping Plaza were also nearby. It was close to Guanshanhu Park, the stadium, and the convention center. The host was very patient and responded to any inquiries promptly. Excellent service!

The whole place is clean and tidy, the rooms have no strange odors, the bedding is comfortable, and the individual lockers provide a great sense of security. The common areas are spacious and cozy, with full amenities including a washing machine, hot water, and toiletries. The owner and staff are warm and friendly, and they thoughtfully share local travel tips. The hostel has a relaxed and welcoming vibe, which is ideal for solo backpackers. It offers fantastic value for money and is my top choice for a short trip to Guiyang. I’ll definitely be back!
