Ppetercclam1I have been to many hotels around the world and nothing comes close to this very unique boutique hotel which is also a space for local artists to display their beautiful paintings. The modern slick European style architectural furnishings make each room so unique and beautiful, it's absolutely amazing. Along with that, the hotel goes out of their way to give you the best service. Free afternoon tea to your room on arrival, a surprise gift pack, smart rooms with movie projector, smart curtains, smart toilet. Help yourself to free snack, fruits, drinks and coffee at any afternoon and supper. Great self help laundry and gym. And if that wasn't enough, it's situated on the 17th & 18th floors in Block 3 of a high rise estate, right above the Songhua Road subway station, Exit B, among two modern shopping centers and hundreds of restaurants at your door step. It's also situated next to the White House and a wetland park. The view above feels like you are above Central Park in New York, NY. It only took us around 35 min to arrive from Guiyang North HSR train station. This is probably the best location you can find for a short or long stay in Guiyang. The staff will also advise you on how to arrange a 1 to 4 days trip around the province of Guizhou . We took a 4 days trip with the China Travel Service and were able to store our large luggage with reception until we returned 4 days later. We are so happy with the staff, service, room and amenities of this hotel that I would stay recommend all my Australian family and friends to do the same when they visit Guiyang. This is a five star boutique hotel without the cost of other five star hotels. Best value for. money.

Environment: Newly renovated, which gave the place an excellent overall feel. It's also conveniently located close to all the main attractions in the city center.

HHaixiaxiaoyurenFacilities: All the amenities of a business hotel are available, including a self-service coffee machine on the first floor. It would be nice if the beans were better quality; they currently have a rubbery smell. This is just my personal opinion, for reference only.
Cleanliness: Cleaned daily. Since it's a newly renovated hotel, everything is spotless.
Environment: Nice, clean everywhere, with the distinct Atour aroma.
Service: Excellent, both the front desk and housekeeping were excellent.
Because the hotel is newly renovated, it's only one stop away from the fountain and a short walk from the subway, making transportation very convenient. There are some food stalls downstairs every evening, which is a welcome touch for those who enjoy it, but a little noisy for those who don't. My friend and I found it quite pleasant.
I was surprisingly satisfied with my booking at Atour.

Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower.
As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

GGuest UserThe hotel service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The room decor was cozy and inviting, the bed was very comfortable for sleeping, and the room itself was very spacious. It was exceptionally quiet, perfect for a peaceful rest. I'd give the environment a full 5-star rating! The room had excellent natural light, with abundant sunshine streaming in, allowing me to soak up some sun around midday, which felt incredibly therapeutic and rejuvenating. I also visited the hotel's charming pet-friendly garden restaurant, and that experience was equally delightful. The staff there were very attentive, the setting was spacious and bright, and with ample seating, there was no need to wait.

MM45445****Stayed in an upgraded room type. The lighting was a bit brighter than the standard rooms, and the full-length mirror was moved to beside the bed. The air conditioning was remote-controlled and the noise level was acceptable. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Guiyang North Station if you don't have luggage, but you'll definitely need a taxi if you do.

I originally wanted to choose a hotel closer to the airport for my early flight the next day, but I didn't expect that it was still a long way from T2, and the hotel didn't provide airport shuttle service. I had to take a taxi with my luggage the next morning. Also, the hotel was newly opened and the decoration inside was still quite smelly.

GGoh KCPlus point: Hotel is about 800m from assembly point for one day local tour packages. Limitations: The hotel driveway can be messy with many tour coaches picking up tourists. The breakfast hall was chaotic during peak hour notably 6.30-7.00am when guests had difficulties finding seats and food. The room is good and clean. Staffs are nice and helpful.

Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it.

整体体验非常差。我们带着很多行李到达时，居然没有任何人接待我们。该家酒店不接受办理入住，办理入住非常混乱，我们还得走到另一家酒店的服务台，等了30分钟，工作人员却不知道该怎么操作。后来我们被安排到另一家酒店的房间，结果又打电话来说那个房间已经被别人预订了，还得再换一次。连瓶装水都没有，要在微信群里发消息才会送来。唯一好的地方就是保安很热心。不推荐入住。整体体验非常差一个度假村行的酒店管理却做得如此之差，不知道是怎么经营下来的。
