Sheraton Guiyang Guihang Hotel (Jiaxiu Tower Qingyun Market Store)

Great location right next to the Jiaxiu Tower with fantastic views. There is a lively small bar nearby. The downside is that the facilities are a bit dated, and the breakfast is average. Also, the underground parking garage has a height limit and we almost couldn't make it in.

The hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible, although the facilities are a bit dated. Manager Feng at the front desk provided excellent service. Overall, it's still a good place.

Environment: There's an underground parking lot, remember to register your license plate at the front desk. It's very close to Jiaxiu Tower, about a 7-minute walk. Facilities: The bed in the room was decent. The hotel is a bit old, opened in 2007. The showerhead and water pressure were fine. However, the window had no handle and could be pushed open. Since our room faced the street, the window couldn't be closed properly, so it was a bit noisy. Even when closed, the single-pane glass didn't provide good sound insulation. The door lock was also broken and couldn't be deadbolted. The outer doorknob was loose, which makes me think the management isn't great. Don't they inspect and fix things promptly? Breakfast was quite good, with a rich variety and decent taste. Service: The hotel front desk seemed to be misleading guests. However, the hotel's room rates are also a bit strange. The difference between a deluxe twin room and an executive deluxe twin room is that the executive deluxe twin room includes an extra afternoon tea... The hotel clearly has some newly renovated rooms and some older ones, but they don't use this distinction for pricing... Who would pay several hundred more just for your afternoon tea? I don't understand.

I was told that the other two 5-star hotels in Guiyang city center didn't have underground parking, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one does and parking is very convenient. The hotel is also within walking distance to Jiaxiu Tower, the Architectural Square, and the Guizhou National Museum. The hotel lobby is elegant and artistic, the rooms are spacious, clean, and hygienic, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The front desk staff are friendly and enthusiastic. When checking in, I had this indescribable feeling, like, "This place is great, I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Guiyang."

The Sheraton Guihang Hotel is located near Jiaxiu Tower, a landmark in the old downtown area. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is generous. However, the decor is a bit dated, and there are many three-prong outlets but very few five-prong ones in the rooms.

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained and conveniently located. It's only a ten-minute walk to Jiaxiu Tower. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is great, making it easy to walk to the Qingyun Market. However, the air conditioning in the room was very noisy and disturbed my sleep. When I checked in, the two front desk staff seemed to be at odds for some reason. One kept letting the phone ring without answering, and the other was impatient with my request for a quieter room, practically glaring with an 'take it or leave it' attitude. They had absolutely no sense of service. I only stayed one night before switching hotels.

This used to be Guiyang's first and best hotel, and it's still my top choice when visiting Guiyang. If you're concerned about outdated facilities, opting for the executive floor will alleviate those worries. The surrounding area is pleasant and convenient, breakfast is bountiful, and the executive floor even offers a simple dinner service.

Overall, my recent stay was just average. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of dishes, and the taste was decent. However, during breakfast, I was seated by the window, and right next to my table, on a cabinet, were cleaning supplies, including disinfectants, along with discarded food scraps, used tissues, and other rubbish. Having trash right next to where I was eating created a very unappealing sight and made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Cleaning supplies and garbage should not be exposed in guest dining areas. I hope the hotel can improve its venue management by storing cleaning tools and waste in the back and not immediately next to guest tables, to enhance the overall dining experience.
