Hotels with Breakfast in Guiyang

Whenever I have a short business trip to Guiyang, I always stay at this Holiday Inn for my layover. The shuttle bus schedule is well-arranged, making it very convenient to get to the airport and eliminating the anxiety of rushing for my flight. The room layout is simple and practical, with a spacious desk and stable internet. It's quiet at night, allowing me to focus on work without disturbance. Front desk staff, Iven, provided efficient service, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The breakfast selection is comprehensive, and the Guizhou-style sour soup noodles are authentic. It's perfect for a quick meal before heading to the airport, making it a hassle-free choice for business travelers.

Choosing the twin room at Manxuan Inn for our family trip to Qingyan Ancient Town was such a wise decision! The room had its own small living room, making it comfortable for both adults and children. The lake view of the inn truly lived up to its name; strolling along the lake and letting the kids run wild in the garden was even more pleasant than visiting tourist attractions. The complimentary ethnic costume selfie experience and afternoon tea were a delightful surprise; my wife took many beautiful photos in Miao clothing! The service was exceptionally thoughtful, making our family trip particularly enjoyable.

My recent stay at Jianshe Hotel was quite good overall. Let's start with the transportation. Exiting Exit A of Zilin'an Metro Station, the accessible elevator leads directly to the hotel entrance. This was incredibly convenient when traveling with luggage, making it very friendly for those with large bags or limited mobility. The hotel is also located right on a pedestrian street, which you can follow all the way to Pen Shuichi Station, with plenty of food and shopping options along the way. The location is truly excellent. Now for the room. The decor is quite modern, suggesting it's either newly renovated or recently opened. There was no pungent formaldehyde smell upon entering, indicating good ventilation and material choices, which made for a reassuring stay. The bedding and overall cleanliness were also top-notch, contributing to a comfortable experience. My only significant complaint is regarding the bathroom drainage. The water level is poorly managed, and the drain is slow. After showering, water tends to accumulate and eventually pools at the bathroom entrance, which is both unhygienic and detracts from the experience. I hope the hotel can quickly investigate the floor drain and drainage slope issues to address this shortcoming. Overall, both the location and the room are commendable. If the bathroom drainage issue can be fixed, the overall rating would definitely improve even further.

The front desk staff were excellent during check-in, accommodating our request for a quieter room and providing complimentary breakfast. They always greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. Even a different staff member at check-out asked about our stay, which shows their training is very thorough. The accommodation itself was good, close to the hospital, and there's a whole street of restaurants downstairs, making it very convenient. Highly recommended!

First: this place is not a Carlton Hotel chain hotel. It is a rip off name. Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower. As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside. as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight. Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information. How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess. In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place. Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night. There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift. I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

My stay here was excellent! Great value for money, it really exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were so kind and check-in was quick and efficient. The room was spotless and tidy, and the bed was incredibly soft – it was instant relief from travel fatigue. The soundproofing was also very good, the internal environment was peaceful, and the facilities were complete. The location is super convenient for getting around. This place has definitely made it onto my favorites list, highly recommended!!!

Great atmosphere, and the room is quite spacious and extremely comfortable to stay in, featuring a separate dry and wet bathroom. It's also very close to the terminal. Since I had an early morning flight, this is the first time I've ever stayed in a hotel so close to the airport. The front desk service was also exceptional. Wonderful experience!

The room was clean and tidy, with the ambiance of a five-star hotel. The facilities were new, and the service was attentive. Breakfast was very rich and varied. On the fifth floor, there's a 'Pet Paradise' where you can interact with small animals, which is very family-friendly for those with kids. Right next to the hotel are a large shopping mall and a food street, making dining, shopping, and entertainment incredibly convenient. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jiaxiu Tower, and a taxi ride is also very cheap.

Environment: There's an underground parking lot, remember to register your license plate at the front desk. It's very close to Jiaxiu Tower, about a 7-minute walk. Facilities: The bed in the room was decent. The hotel is a bit old, opened in 2007. The showerhead and water pressure were fine. However, the window had no handle and could be pushed open. Since our room faced the street, the window couldn't be closed properly, so it was a bit noisy. Even when closed, the single-pane glass didn't provide good sound insulation. The door lock was also broken and couldn't be deadbolted. The outer doorknob was loose, which makes me think the management isn't great. Don't they inspect and fix things promptly? Breakfast was quite good, with a rich variety and decent taste. Service: The hotel front desk seemed to be misleading guests. However, the hotel's room rates are also a bit strange. The difference between a deluxe twin room and an executive deluxe twin room is that the executive deluxe twin room includes an extra afternoon tea... The hotel clearly has some newly renovated rooms and some older ones, but they don't use this distinction for pricing... Who would pay several hundred more just for your afternoon tea? I don't understand.

Self-driving to Guiyang, brought children to eat food, visit Qianlingshan Park, see Jiaxiu Building, the overall experience is very good! The hotel is close to all check-in points, it is more convenient to go anywhere!
