Anonymous UserThe location is really close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk at most. It also has a shao kao across the road that is open late into the night, which is really handy for some food before bed. The hotel is a little on the older side and the facilities are basic, but it had everything I needed and everything worked well. The aunty and uncle that run the hotel are really nice and friendly. The front desk is open all the time, so that was very convenient for returning late. I'd recommend this hotel if you just want something less expensive than some of the other hotels in the area, and convenient while you visit the beach.
Visitors have to pay to go onto the beach, but maybe that is common in China, I don't know.

The first guesthouse in Wutong Mountain was a delightful surprise; turning the corner upon entering, I was immediately struck by its beauty.
The owner and the receptionist were incredibly kind. Chatting with them, I learned the guesthouse was designed by a Ukrainian who has lived in China for over 20 years and is also planning to host a summer camp. I especially loved the style of the common areas, the warm atmosphere, and the three cats. There are several vegetarian restaurants and cafes nearby; each one has its own story.
I didn't take pictures of the room because I had personal belongings there. It's similar to the Atour Hotel style, with smart bathroom fixtures. The soundproofing is average compared to a hotel; it's more like a typical guesthouse.
Living here was so comfortable; I look forward to my next stay.

Traveled with a friend and booked a twin room, which was just right for three of us. We were very satisfied! The soundproofing in the room isn't the best; guests checking in late at night slamming doors woke us up. However, the owner is very nice, the room is clean and tidy, and the surrounding environment is beautiful. Our short three-day stay felt like a relaxing getaway in a paradise. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Dapeng. To be able to stay within the walls of the old fort, in a lovely, 200-year-old traditional building, was a real treat. The staff at Buyan were friendly and helpful. Tony, the manager, speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about the area and its history.
The room itself was comfortable, and there was a sofa and chairs in the courtyard just outside.
I have only one very small criticism; the table was a little wobbly, which made it tricky to use the laptop, but that won't stop me from going back.
A really nice little place!

The last time I visited Dapeng Ancient Town was in July 2020. I spotted this B&B while hailing a taxi. This time, I booked it specifically for my parents! It's right at the south gate of the ancient town. Just take a taxi and locate the ”Northeast Village Building” and walk a few dozen meters. The B&B is just around the corner from the ”Pengcheng Restaurant” inside the ancient town, so it's very convenient! Didi also takes half an hour to get to Yangmeikeng! My parents and I were very satisfied. The owner of the B&B was very kind and provided a lot of help to our family. I'll definitely stay there again next time I visit!

Guest UserIt was my first time to stay at the Seaside Inn. The first floor was very comfortable. The air conditioner was always on. It was cool and hygienic. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was good and the water pressure was great. The service was good and the guy patiently helped us arrange it. The shop was also close to the beach and we could go out for a walk. The sea is just two steps away. The price is also satisfactory. I look forward to coming again to stay longer.

The room is big, the shower water is hot enough, it is very close to Dapeng Fortress, and there are all kinds of food and shopping nearby. We arrived at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, and there were staff there. The staff was polite and could speak Cantonese. Although not very enthusiastic, if you need help, they will do it immediately. The only thing we are not satisfied with is that we arrived a day earlier than another group of guests, but we were arranged to stay in a room on the 2nd floor. We asked to change to the 3rd floor but were also rejected. As a result, the next night, things often fell to the ground upstairs, and the noise was very loud. We were scared several times, and it lasted until 1 o'clock in the middle of the night.

The owner of this apartment is very good and welcoming, the location is also very good to find, close to two different subway stations, quite clean, the only drawback is that the sound insulation is not very good, the corridor and the noise downstairs can be heard clearly, but the price is good.

Guest UserI've stayed here before, and the new owner has made it much cleaner and more welcoming than when I stayed here a few months ago. The room is big enough, the price is reasonable, and the service is great. I'll choose this place again next time I come here. Recommended
