We recently stayed at a hotel right outside the 南门of the Ancient City, and its location couldn't have been more convenient. Given how jammed Dali can get, walking was the best option, and this hotel’s location made it incredibly easy to explore the area on foot. The staff here is simply the best I’ve ever encountered. I had many parcels delivered to the hotel before my arrival, and they not only managed all of them seamlessly but also offered to send out additional parcels on my behalf. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they attended to our requests promptly and always with a smile. Their dedication to going above and beyond was truly impressive. The staff also provided excellent recommendations for food and activities nearby, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic, and the views of 苍山 were amazing. We had a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be back!

The hotel is very beautiful. We chose a room with a view of the beautiful Erthai Lake. The room is very large and has all the amenities. In addition, the reception team provided excellent service, informing us about the pick-up from the train station. When we arrived, there was a shuttle to carry our luggage. All the services were impressive. If anyone is looking for a room with a beautiful view, I recommend this place. We liked it very much. I give 5 Stars 👍

Very good location 5 minutes walk to main area. Very good service by housekeeper xiao hao. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Breakfast, tea time and night dessert is great. Very easy accessible. We enjoyed our time here. They have transport service to pick you up at the main road and also sending you to nearby places. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from the staff. The hotel provides unlimited beverages and ice creams and the breakfast buffet was really good. Super helpful staff who went over and above to make our stay comfortable.

Simply amazing! I’ve never had any hotel call me in seconds of having booked a room to verify my details of arrival so as to arrange VIP pick up. Courtesy fruit, courtesy night dessert, 24h courtesy noodles, courtesy pick up and drop off, courtesy everything! I’ve been left speechless with the outstanding service and attention to detail. If you’re staying in Dali and wish to be near the city and old town while having the most spectacular views and living spaces of Erhai Lake, then don’t think twice and book this place! Huge thanks to the staff for their professionalism and friendliness.

It was really nice. The hotel is literally in front of Erhai Lake. The owner also very helpful and accommodating. Since we are muslim, they serve us vegetarian options and are aware of our dietary restrictions. We have 7 luggage and the owner are very helpful, took care of our luggages and helped us book a car when we checked out. Overall, it was a really satisfying stay and I would recommend it to everyone. 10 stars! 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location is great , it’s inside Dali Ancient Town ! Lulu is super nice and friendly 😚 She even helps us to carry our luggage while it’s raining outside. One thing to note tho, remember to contact the hotel to get the correct drop off point, if you get down at the wrong side, u might need to drag your luggage and walk on the stone path for 10min.

A great place to stay for convenience and service! Besides being clean and well-heated in winter, the host offers tea to guests when they arrive or after a long day (without asking you to buy), recommends an itinerary if you need and even arrange transport to my next location. Breakfast was simple and good - mainly for Asian tastebuds. They grow their own vegetables and they have a great natural sweetness! The ancient city is a 10-15mins walk away with many gems along the way. I highly recommend this place, and will definitely stay again if I come back. Tip: Contact the hotel before hand to get some help for the luggage as the road to the hotel is not suitable for luggage and not accessible by car.

Visited shuanglang with my mum, stayed 3 nights here and it’s simply fantastic. The service is impeccable - staff are on stand by all the time, ready to assist in all matters. They thought through the visitors experience and provided breakfast, tea, turn down services and post dinner desserts every night. We got 2 free cocktails per night too! Room is amazing - we got lucky and had a free upgrade to one of their best suites with amazing views of erhai! The beautiful room has a cool skylight, spacious balcony/toilet (particularly love their plushy bedroom slippers) and very comfortable bed - all of which are all a big plus. The hotel is sited right in the heart of the small town, making exploration so much easier too! Breakfast was great too, different menu everyday. They will serve a set of breakfast items (refillable) and have a small buffet table set up for fruits and small bites. Food is always delicious and warm, especially complemented with the amazing view at the dining area! Overall a 20 out of 10 for me, it’s a must stay if you are visiting Shuanglang! A big shout out to the amazing hotel crew, thanks for the memorable experience!

Omg! The view from this hotel was absolutely breathtaking. It was such a peaceful place with a very clean room and a wonderful bath to relax in. The staff were incredibly attentive. I can speak Chinese, but even if you don’t, they message you on WeChat before your stay, so you can easily translate everything automatically. They also gave us some lovely welcome gifts that I absolutely loved! We ate some during our stay, and I brought the rest back to Australia because they were so delicious. I won’t spoil what they were so you can enjoy the surprise for yourself. Our package included breakfast and afternoon tea, which was such a dream. Sitting there, watching people ride their bikes, was such a serene experience. We chose this location because we wanted peace and quiet, away from the noise. If you want to visit the city, it’s easy to order a Didi, and you’ll be there in just 10 minutes. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of—though it’s likely out of their control—was the spider webs on the main window of our room (spider webs outside of the room not inside), but it’s surrounded by a lake so I’m wasn’t surprised. My husband loved it because he’s fascinated by insects, but I was a bit nervous. That said, the windows have insect screens, so nothing could get inside, which was a relief. The breakfast was fantastic! It was a buffet with options like rice noodles, a variety of fruits, yogurts, and more. I would definitely come back to this amazing place!
