MM257049****This is my seventh time in Dali, and it's the best hotel I've stayed in out of five! First off, the room layout was exactly to my liking. I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and there was a sofa area, a round dining table, and a large bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling windows – definitely added to the relaxing vacation vibe! The bathroom fixtures were Kohler, and the walk-in closet and vanity area were very spacious. The curtains were automatic, and the AC and curtain controls were right by the bed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was unbeatable – braised chicken wings, braised beef brisket, honey-glazed ribs, and spiced beef. Being able to enjoy a buffet until noon was seriously impressive; I'd call it the ultimate spread. I also have to commend the daily fruit plate and goodnight dessert. Other places only offer it on the first day, but here, I stayed three days and got it every day – incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's front and back yards were also fantastic. My kids loved the slide and swings in the back, and the succulent boat was thriving. The parking lot was also spacious. The nearby ecological corridor had great photo spots, and there were lots of seagulls. When I checked out, I even received a parting gift, and there was a self-service fridge with drinks and beer. A perfect 100-point review, I'll definitely be back!

EEnnaService was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

GGuest UserThis guesthouse exceeded all expectations! The moment you step out, you're right at Erhai Lake. The mini-manager was incredibly attentive, even upgrading our room. The room itself was spotless, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic views of Erhai Lake. In the evening, I went to the rooftop to do laundry and was amazed by the starry sky. The next morning, we watched the sunrise right outside the hotel, then came back for a delicious and hearty breakfast – both the rice noodles and tea eggs were great. There's an old man next to the hotel who rents out bikes; renting one to cycle around Erhai Lake was absolutely delightful. When we checked out, the mini-manager even gave us a souvenir and helped us with our luggage to the taxi stand. This trip to Dali was fantastic, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

MMichelle 琪惠The service is great. There’s no need to carry your luggage or walk for pick-up or drop-off at 双廊半岛超市—someone will handle your bags and bring you over on a buggy. I was even upgraded to a room with a view.
Each time you enter or leave, you’ll be warmly greeted by the same individual, likely the manager, who also reminds guests to dress warmer if the temperature dips. Breakfast (8:30-10:30) changes daily, and they warm up milk (21:00-22:00) if you’d like some. There’s also a bar on site, though I didn’t try it this time. The room is thoughtfully furnished with a Marshall speaker (Bluetooth) and diffuser, and you can even choose the scent you prefer.
The location is ideal for anyone seeking both convenience and tranquillity.
It’s close to many attractions: right next to the pier and 双廊古镇, and about a 15-minute walk to the gallery and exhibition at Yang Liping’s former residence (杨丽萍太阳宫). It’s walking distance to a few popular eateries as well. You may need to walk abit if you’re going to the viral cafes further out near Muxi Dali (alternatively, you can get those buggy to transport you at a fee).
It becomes peaceful in the evenings once the day-trippers leave, so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset in calm surroundings—perfect for sipping a cup of Yunnan tea while taking in the view (see photos).

KKeaidezhizhimaThe rooms are a bit on the older side. There's a newer building next door, which is pricier, so it really depends on individual needs and budget. The front desk staff were excellent, and the hotel's overall service philosophy is commendable. We originally booked a 'Quiet King Room,' but my husband really wanted a balcony, and they kindly upgraded us for free! The location is fantastic – very quiet with beautiful scenery, definitely worth recommending. I went cycling with my child, and the scenery along the way was absolutely stunning. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, featuring Cantonese dim sum available until 10:30 AM. In the hot afternoon, enjoying afternoon tea at the hotel while gazing at the sea view was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. We cycled for two hours, and the surrounding landscapes were simply breathtaking. Xizhou Ancient Town, the Rice Paddies Mini Train, and Haishi Park are all just a few kilometers away by bike.

🛏️ Room Comfort: The room was decorated very warmly, clean and tidy, and the bed was so soft that I had a great night's sleep. The window in particular offered an expansive view of the distant scenery – it was truly amazing!
🚿 Hygiene: The guesthouse's hygiene was excellent; every corner was spotless. The bathroom facilities were also complete and very convenient to use.
📍 Location: The guesthouse's location was also very good, with convenient transportation and many attractions and eateries nearby, making it perfect for tourists.

DD1230****The location is secluded, and the facilities are not the latest or most advanced, but the store can provide pick-up and drop-off service. The environment is very nice, truly overlooking a stream valley. If you book a terrace room, you can hear the rumbling sound of water right below the balcony. It happened to be a rainy day, and sitting on the balcony listening to the sound of the stream was a rare experience.

KKatherineliewtanWe stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is excellent, boasting captivating sea views. The rooms are spotless, and the accommodation is very quiet, making for a truly comfortable stay. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful; they always arranged transportation promptly whenever we left or returned. The driver's shuttle service to and from the train station was also a nice touch. We even booked a day tour through the driver, and the lake excursion was delightful. Overall, the stay was extremely satisfying.

GGuest UserWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
