"💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! "Still very good, friends are very happy to live together, the location is on the way to Reykjavik to Vic. Close to a big waterfall. Skoga Falls or Sriyalan Falls can't remember."

"価格はアイスランド価格という感じですが、寝泊まりには充分満足です！舗装されていない道を3kmほど運転する必要がありますので、特に冬の期間は車の選択を考える必要かもしれません。周りにお店はありませんが、シリアルや牛乳が準備されていますので、食べ物には困りません(感謝！) 隣の声は聞こえます。ホテルなどではなく、普通の部屋です。真隣に部屋があります。 広い共用スペースに十分な部屋、準備されている朝食。 価格がアイスランドですが、良いゲストハウスです！"

"The hotel is new, but the smell is quite strong, especially on the roadside. There's no kettle, which is a bit inconvenient; you can get water at the restaurant. The bathroom design isn't very well thought out; water splashes everywhere when you shower, and there's no dry or wet separation, which needs improvement. The breakfast is simple, with limited options. A recent visitor with children is cautious about smells. The smell might improve by the end of 2025, but with so few options along the way, I think it's fine for one night."

"We stayed in a little hut which was very cosy and warm even though it was quite cold outside. The hut was equipped with hot water, stove, water boiler and cutlery. Unfortunately no oven but that was totally fine. The location was perfect: a few minutes drive outside Hvollsvollür. Would totally stay there again ＜3"

"The hotel is perfectly located, walking distance from the public bus stop. They have excellent amenities to keep you involved if it's bad weather outside. Almost never bad weather to enjoy the hot tub and sauna. Food is good, beers are amazing only two options though. Staff is friendly and nice. Enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Thanks"
