The accommodations themselves were subpar and in dire need of renovation. My room was outdated, with worn-out furnishings and a general sense of neglect. The staff of the hotel was very nice and kind from the very start of the booking process, so informative when I asked about room type and the condition that I was looking for. I spend time there for 2 days 1 night with 1 room and 2 meals to celebrate my birthday with my sister. The hotel even passed the information to the restaurant staff and they were kind enough to sing the happy birthday song for me and also gave me a birthday gift. The room was cleaned well and has all the amenities you might need. The private bath was very good too.

Very close to a JR station, very reasonable price, excellent traditional Japanese food and onsen, comfortable room, friendly staff, but the only shortfall is no luggage storage is allowed after check out at 10 a.m. (not even the same day storage).
