Komatsu-Kan Kofu-Tei ★★★★
"Excellent service, food was great (only had 1 dinner out of 2 nights) and location was perfect with lovely view to the bay :) Hotel room and amenities were abit dated. Had booked the hotel 2 months ago n was surprised at the rates of about 70000 yen per night. Thought it was because of Sakura season and being a weekend. However during stay noted that rates were now 20000- 30000 yen a night! Inquired during check out about the huge discrepancy in price and all they said was it depends on the view :/ Felt I had been scammed :( For that reason I would give it 2 stars out of 5."
Hotel Matsushima Taikanso ★★★★
"Location is excellent. However, the services was unbelievable that every customer should bring along their luggage from the carpark to the entrance of the hotel and no staff will help. The onsen is like a swimming pool and seems not very Japanese. The dinner was a buffet style which i am not prefer very much."
HOTEL ROUTE-INN RIFU ★★★
"As expected, the new Luying is particularly clean~ There is a large shopping mall next to it where you can browse for a while. The breakfast is self-service and not very good. It is highly recommended~~~~~"
Matsushima Century Hotel ★★★
"Great service. The receptionist tried to help me out with public transport in a northern more remote area . Bed and pillows are very comfortable. I didn't try to food even it's available as half board"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Hotel Sokan ★★★★
"It is a good and clean hotel . The place is truly good and quiet"
Matsushima Hotel Waraku ★★★
"Very friendly staff. The hotel is a little dated but ok."
YOKI MATSUSHIMA ★★★★
"This is the newest hotel in Matsushima, so the facilities are top-of-the-line. Those who enjoy private onsen (hot spring baths) can relax and enjoy them without worry. What I really want to talk about is their service. First, before check-in, we contacted the hotel via email, and they responded quickly, adjusting the transportation arrangements promptly based on our arrival situation. Second, during our stay, the staff learned that we planned to visit Tashirojima, and since it was during typhoon season, the hotel staff kept an eye on the weather and ferry operations for us. Finally, regarding language, the hotel has two staff members who speak Mandarin, so there were no communication barriers throughout our stay."
Breezbay Seaside Resort Matsushima ★★★
"There were games like table tennis and darts. Happy hour was also great. I was prepared for the slope to the hotel."
Hotel Daimatsuso ★★★
"The hotel's facilities are still relatively old, especially the open-air hot spring, which has been broken for many years and has not been repaired. However, the waiters have very good attitudes and the rooms are well cleaned. Well, there is no centralized heating, only the air conditioning is turned on, so at night It's still a bit cold, especially the bathroom."

Traveler's Wharf Shichigahama
"We absolutely loved our stay at Traveler’s Wharf Shichgahama. Taka is a wonderful host - attentive, accommodating and we really enjoyed getting to know him a little bit. He took excellent care of us, anticipating our needs and showing great hospitality. He picked us up from the train station, and advised us on activities in the area. I would highly recommend you stay here if you are looking for a quiet, low key place close to the beach."
Hotel Urashima-so
"It was very cheap."
