The quality of the bedding in this house was very good. I had a good night's sleep. The hot springs are rarely very clean. In the afternoon, the outdoor pool is also equipped with fresh roses to add to the hot springs. It is commendable that this check-out is 12 o'clock. A great hotel with amazing rooms and baths. The location is great, and the staff is above and beyond kind and helpful. Would recommend as a great place to stay for anyone!

We came here for the local onsen experience, the location is great and it’s just opposite to scenery spots, saving us time and commuting cost. The staff and service is very professional and attentive. The double bed room is spacious, onsen clothes and towels are served. Since the shops and visiting area at Matsushima close as early as 4pm (maybe only in winter?), there’s not much action after that. This hotel experience fill up the time we spend at Matsushima, there’s a little restaurant inside the hotel for people to enjoy food after the onsen. You can also choose to go to family mart which is just 5 minutes walk away, and get whatever food you want.

Nice traditional Japanese hotel. The room was conveniently located on the first floor. The only things to keep in mind there as a foreigner (very broken English at best). Using a translation device or app in your phone is essential for communication. The room we stayed did not have a private shower. If a shower is needed it will be in a communal shower area. The room does have a toilet and sink though.

I was able to spend a very comfortable day. The purpose was to watch professional baseball in Sendai, but since I came to Sendai by car, it was relatively close to the stadium, so I couldn't stop at all. Close to tourist spots, hot springs and breakfast were also a great inn over the price.
