"Very close to the airport. The hotel's free shuttle service was punctual, running every half hour, and got me there in just ten minutes. It's quite convenient for an overnight stay. The soundproofing was decent; I didn't hear much noise. The towel rack, however, was ridiculously high – even at 1.8 meters (nearly 6 feet), I had to reach up to grab a towel."

"The hotel is new, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed. However, the overall service needs significant improvement. The check-in process was slow, room amenities were not fully provided, and the housekeeping standards did not meet expectations. While the property has good potential, better service and attention to guest needs are required to enhance the overall experience."

"We traveled by car and it was easy to reach. It was also ideal to have plenty of parking right in front of the door. In the evening, parking was a bit busier; perhaps due to the adjacent casino? We didn't experience any inconvenience from it! The host was super friendly and helpful. There was no fridge in our room, but we were allowed to put our items in a fridge behind the reception. We had a great and affordable stay!"

"We decided to book this hotel as we had a long flight from Shanghai before a connecting flight to Ireland that would have arrived very late. It was a good choice. The hotel is perfect for this scenario: the rooms are nice, comfortable beds, nice shower etc and very restful-nicely lit. and surprisingly not very noisy despite being only a few kms from Schiphol. The staff had also prepared the sofa bed for us on arrival, which was a nice touch-one of us probably woudl have just slept on the sofa as a sofa otherwise. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The only slight gripe would be the hallway looked liek it could have doen with a bit of hoovering, but honestly that was not really a big deal. There is also a nice bar in th elobby area plus a restaurant-we didnt; try the evenign meals on offer but as noted above the breakfast was excellent so I would imagine dinner woudl be ok too. There is a gym but we didn't try that so no idea if it's any good. The hotel was completed in I think 2014 or 2016 and it feels very modern and new. One other thing I thought was a bit off-you have to pay 8.50 per-person for the airport shuttle that takes you from the hotel to the airport (it's free from the airport to the hotel) This seems a bit petty to be honest. A taxi costs about 11 euro for the same journey so effectively the shuttle is almost the same price and if you are a group of two or more, the shuttle makes no sense. I would suggest the hotel considers either offering the service for free (they can just add a small amount to the already not expensive room rate) or just not have a service at all and everyone can take a taxi. Location wise, the hotel woudl have to be inside the terminal to be any closer to Schiphol-for this price you wonn't find anywhere better located. Overall an excellent hotel and I will most likely stay there again on the return from my next visit to China."

"The room was great, very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was also pretty good. My only minor complaint is that the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, but other than that, everything was fine."

"Not far from the airport, about a 15-minute drive. I asked Ctrip to inquire twice if the hotel had a shuttle service, and both times the answer was no. On the third inquiry, they said they did. The service was quite unprofessional. It's newly renovated, with a decor style similar to Atour hotels in China. Housekeeping is almost non-existent; the 'make up room' light was on every day, but cleaning never happened. I had to manually call someone to clean the room. Breakfast was very mediocre, with hardly anything good to eat, and the fruit wasn't fresh. I recommend staying at the Radisson Blu instead; there's a huge difference. The hotel is located in an industrial park, or at least a business park, where companies like Bayer, Omron, and Abbott have offices. Overall, it's very average. I don't recommend staying here; the Radisson Blu is much better."

"Hotel Twenty-Three is located in a really great spot. The atmosphere is pleasant, the rooms are clean, and the beds are fine. However, there were also some downsides we experienced. For the second time, we tried to reserve a room with a bathtub (we made a special request), and upon arrival, we were told (just like during our first stay...) that it wasn't possible. This was a disappointment! Unfortunately, we had a lot of noise disturbance (we were on the first floor and could literally hear what people above us were saying), which made it difficult to rest properly. Another area for improvement is the lighting. It was too dark in the bathroom, and there wasn't enough ambient lighting in the room itself."

"I enjoyed my stay, we arrived early and we were able to check in. Rooms were ok, twin beds, shower, tea station. There was a blow dryer in the room also, everything worked fine. Great location 10mins walk from the train station, one stop away by train to the airport and about 25 mins to Amsterdam Central. Breakfast was good also pastires, breads, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and beans and then fruit and cold meats."

"Perfect stay, can never go wrong booking Van der Valk. Location is perfect for an early flight from Schiphol, 10 minutes drive to the airport. Spacious and lovely room, very clean, parking is free."
