The hotel was very comfortable and spacious and the room was very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.
They have a store to buy products they themselves manufacture. It is in the middle street of the center of Tam Coc so it breathes quietly but knowing that in 5 minutes walk you have all the options to eat and book excursions or transport.
Great accommodation for those who want to spend the weekend in Ninj Bin and enjoy this beauty. Housing is clean, staff is very polite, there is rental of bike and bicycles. There are breakfasts

It’s hard to describe, not cost-effective, and I won’t stay here next time anyway. The price is probably around 500 per night in Vietnam. My colleagues and I were bitten all over by bed bugs. When we got home, we had flowers all over our bodies, and even when we pinched the blood, we still itched unbearably. The swimming pool is indoors, and the children swimming were so exciting that we couldn't even take a nap. Two bottles of water are free in the room. If you want an extra bottle, you will have to buy it. The waiters can speak Chinese and go to surrounding attractions. The hotel provides free bicycles. We can hire a hotel car to take you back to Hanoi Airport, which is cheaper than Grab and can issue an invoice.
I booked a room here but wasn’t able to stay due to Typhoon Yagi.
They were helpful in changing the dates that I want to stay. They also refund one night due to the typhoon.
It would be better if they can share their contact number in WhatsApp as it’s hard to make changes if you go through Trip.com agents. Better call them directly.
The hotel room is large, the boss is enthusiastic, and the proprietress is smiling all day. The biggest highlight of the hotel is the large swimming pool, suitable for family travel. The disadvantage is that the environment is cleaned and hygienic. It may be improved. It may be understaffed and there is no extra manpower to organize. It is a pity. The hotel can take a set itinerary. We chartered a car to the Songya Bird Ecological Tourism Area on the first day, 400,000 VND (about 7 kilometers from the hotel). It is recommended to rent a locomotive to go to the more cost-effective. The next day, chartered a car to Trang an Chang'an Scenic Area (Lulong Bay) ➝ Hoa lu Huaxu Ancient City ➝ Lunch ➝ Baiding Temple Cha Bái ính- Ninh Bnh Tour, 1 million VND. On the third day, go to Mua Caves ( Hang Mua) (4.7 kilometers) and rent a bicycle to go. Back to Hanoi to book a car to the hotel, 200,000 VND/person, the ticket is cheap, the disadvantage is that it is necessary to connect multiple times, the advantage is that there is no rest in the middle, the time spent is the same as sitting limosion
Natural ecosystem is suitable for those who want to rest and quiet. Enthusiastic staff. In the early morning, birds sing a lot, wild sheep, mountain goats help me have a very interesting experience. It would be more perfect if the hotel invested a bicycle system enough for guests to ride a ride to enjoy the scenery, other addresses they also lend guests for free.
The hotel is well located, 15 minutes walk to the main street. Sights, almost all are quite far away, you can get to some by bike. The hosts are friendly, they will tell you where to go, what to see and organize excursions.
The room is large, it is cold in January, even with air conditioning.
The shower is clogged, the water does not drain and spills out all over the room, it is impossible to go to the toilet, since the water will be ankle-deep.
A lot of dust in the drawers and cobwebs.
The water bottles have not been changed for a long time, the corks are already black.
The kettle is very old, they do not wash it inside.
The breakfast is very light, small selection.

AAudreyOur stay at Tam Coc Moment was nothing short of amazing From the moment we arrived, the owner, Tommy, went above and beyond—seamlessly arranging our transfer from Hanoi and offering insider tips on the best places to visit in Ninh Binh. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious homemade breakfast prepared by his wife. Every morning, we eagerly looked forward to her delicious, lovingly prepared dishes, which made for the perfect start to our day.
The entire property was impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. What truly made the experience special was the beautiful little garden, where we enjoyed our meals amidst lush greenery and a tranquil ambiance.
Tam Coc Moment is a true hidden gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
SStephanieI truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Dzung and his family were so kind and generous. They went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. The pictures of the home stay on the internet do not do this place justice. Dzung has made every effort to make his guests feel at home. We each had bicycles that we could use free of charge. The breakfasts that his wife made were delicious, best pancakes! We had our own bathrooms and the rooms and facilities were absolutely pristine. Trip.com indicated that this home stay had shared washrooms but this isn’t always the case, we had our own private bathrooms. We also couldn’t get enough of the rooftop pool! Dzung was so helpful showing us where to go and what to do. The home stay is so conveniently located, away from the hustle and bustle. So tranquil and peaceful. We will mostly definitely be returning. This was truly a special experience that my husband and I will never forget. Thank you Dzung and your family for being the most gracious hosts. We felt as though we were a part of your family. We will see you all soon!
GGuest UserWe called this the 'Grandma Hotel' because you're truly taken care of. Breakfast is a feast of all the fruits plus eggs and bread, almost more than you can eat. Motorbikes are only 100k per day to rent and they're well looked after. She goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and happy, without charging you loads of money for everything.
The rooms are spotless and big, with good amenities. The location is good, walking distance to the main high street. I really have no complaints, truly a great hotel!
AAnnabel P.A beautiful hotel away from the main road. Unfortunately when I stayed they still had parts of the hotel under construction like the pool area and drive way and the family accommodation next to the drive way. There is also a few other houses/hotels under construction in the area at the moment so it’s not so quite during working hours.
The family was very helpful and kind. I took a free bike to Trang An which was an easy 20 min ride (stopped for some pics along the way). I also ordered a late meal which they were happy to fix for me.
Right by a small lake and surrounded by mountains it’s very picturesque. Large rooms and comfy beds. I would definitely recommend.
GGuest UserWe stayed for 5 nights and it was a fantastic experience throughout! Room was clean and had hot water, Netflix and aircon. View at the homestay was great and allowed us to relax thoroughly. Host was very friendly and gave us good advice on where to travel in the area. We had bbq and family was so kind to help us with the bbq. Location is ideal for travelling to trang an boat ride and hang mua cave. Bicycle rental is for free. Overall, highly recommend others to visit this homestay to complete your vietnam experience!
GGuest UserI notice previous reviews were posted 2019. The new owner has only been there a few months and has never run a guesthouse before. It shows. He actually forgot I was there last night, went home and locked me in. You read that correctly. I went to leave last night at 19:00 to go and eat and the entrance was padlocked shut. I was the only guest and I was locked in like a prisoner. He was also unaware of basic check-in procedures. He had no way of looking up my booking. I had to show him the Trip.com confirmation on my phone. He asked to keep my passport for the duration - I refused of course. He also wasn’t on top of basic cleaning eg empty beer cans and glasses sat for 48 hours on the tables by the pool before the area was cleaned + tidied. The first morning, I went to the reception desk, put my key on it and motioned to him to keep it. I returned 8 hours later to find my key lying exactly where I had left it and 12 guests milling around, any of whom could have gone into my room. I am sure he is on a steep learning curve and will address these issues as he accrues more guest feedback. The location, pool and bungalows are lovely. If you choose to stay there, manage your expectations of the service. He is a sweet, smiley guy who wants to please - but is currently simply clueless about the basic hospitality requirements of his new business.
AAnonymous UserThis was the most charming accommodation throughout our tour of Vietnam. It was by the road but hidden behind its wall of greenery. Once inside, we were greeted by a spacious courtyard and garden filled with trees, plants, and beautiful rustic furnishings. The privacy it offered was definitely more desirable than other accommodations where their courtyards were open to full public view. In the night, the garden and courtyard were warmly lit and gave a very cozy feel.
Our room was clean and faced the mountains, and it had a balcony with a table and chairs for guests to sip coffee and soak in the view and fresh air.
We reached early and was given an early check-in as the room was available. Mr Xuan (the boss) and Ms Ha spoke very good English so communication was easy.
The location of the villla couldn't be better. To one direction was the nature where we spent the most enjoyable time cycling through, and to the other was a 5-minute walk to town center for numerous shops and restaurants.
The location was convenient, and so were the arrangements that Xuan and Ha made for us. They arranged the day tour to the places of interest that were further away, and also arranged our transport to our next destination. Very much a one-stop shop, very easy and smooth for us. Would definitely recommend friends to stay here
PPeiyiWe arranged private transport from Hanoi hotel to Hidden Charm and the transport was punctual (early in fact). Driver was focused and safe.
Check-in at Hidden Charm was a breeze, they served a citrusy warm drink that I enjoyed. Front desk customer service personnel were proactive in suggesting sightseeing spots at Ninh Binh when we asked for suggestions.
Breakfast buffet was pretty standard with western bread options and Asian pho, fried rice etc.
Location wise, Hidden Charm is very near the Tam Coc boat ticket booth and also offers bicycles for us to cycle to Mua Caves and where the Lying Dragon was. At the entrance to Mua Cave, there will be people trying to get you to park your bikes for a fee, typically 5k VND per bike but we found one close to entrance and charged 2k VND per bike.
Our room was at the 7th floor and comes with a expansive view. The bed was comfortable and not too soft. There was also a bath tub for me to enjoy.
At the end of trip, the hotel staff arranged for private transport to the Noi Bai airport at my request. Again, driver was early and ride was smooth. I enjoyed my stay at Hidden Charm and would recommend to anyone who wish to stay in a clean hotel with excellent service.
MMixPlorerI didn’t expect much about the place in terms of amenities and cleanliness but the kindness, friendliness and care I received from the staff were superb. I was there for pure nature, serenity and magnificent views, and boy I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a property perched in the middle of the iconic rocky mountains of Ninh Binh, surrounded by lush greenery and a small river that even had a little canoe next to my cabin. You can just stay at this property the whole day without doing anything special yet your mind and heart still end up fulfilled. Sit at their small cafe while having some coffee or a plate of authentic local Vietnamese food. Just stare at the rice fields or admire the beauty of the lotus on their pond. Have a bonfire at night while listening to their good-vibe music or ask the staff to play your own.
