Our log cabin is conveniently located just minutes from town, yet you feel like you are in the northwoods upon entering. We have a wood burning stove, log furniture within the two bedrooms, and a cute loft that has another full log bed. There are a few spots where it's a little shallower. For a true sandy beach, head to Hayward City Beach which is less than one mile from the cabin.Q: Does the cabin have good heat?A: Yes it does! We recently upgraded to mini-split heater/AC units. The heating and cooling is simply remote controlled and responds much faster than our previous heating system.Q: Where's the flat sheet on the bed?A: Keeping with the European-style theme, the bed has a duvet. We change and clean ALL linens after every stay and take great pride in our cleanliness. We also have an extra blanket stored if you need it.Q: Is there enough room to park a boat/trailer?A: Yes! The parking area is large enough for several vehicles. If you have a trailer, you can back in park in three different areas. We just ask that you not block anyone else in.Q: Do we have a boat landing?A: No, not at our location however there is a public boat launch about a half mile away. You can launch your boat there and tie it down on one of our docks!
