Best Guam Hotels

"Since I arrived in Guam on an early morning flight, I requested an early check-in in advance, but it was denied. Upon arrival, I walked to the hotel, dropped off my luggage, and waited in the lobby. There were no luggage tags or anything; my bags were simply placed behind the staff, and I had to identify my belongings at check-in. The lobby was spacious and had restrooms, a convenience store, a gym, a pool, and desks and sofas with charging ports. (Since checkout is at 12 PM, it seems you can't access your room until check-in at 3 PM.) After checking in, there were two elevators, but one wasn't working. The operational elevator had a wide gap, so I think parents with small children should be careful of their footing. (It was a bit of a nerve-wracking elevator.) We were given two key cards, but one didn't work. A minor drawback was the shower room and toilet lacking a dividing wall, causing water to splash towards the toilet. I wished for even a simple curtain, perhaps one that could be extended with a tension rod. The mirror in the shower room seemed quite modern, with a defogging button, which was convenient for applying makeup after a shower. The water pressure, well, I don't think anything can beat Japanese water pressure, so I guess it's normal for overseas hotels. The temperature control tended to get hot quickly, but it was relatively easy to adjust. The bed was soft and a bit saggy. Bed making was by request, and typically only involved towel changes."

"The room was spacious, and the hotel is right on the beach, complete with water slides and an infinity pool! For dinner, we chose the restaurant by the beach, and the portions were huge! I recommend ordering a variety of dishes to share. We were so lucky to see a beautiful rainbow-colored sky 😍 It's also not far from shopping malls and restaurants!"

It has direct access to a nice beach section, perfect for those seeking a relaxed vibe while still being close enough to restaurants and shopping (short taxi or walk).The rooms are spacious (around 48㎡), all oceanfront with huge balconies offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and beautiful sunsets. The beds were comfortable, and free WiFi worked well throughout. The outdoor pools with waterslides and kids’ area were a big hit — lots of fun for families.We loved the beachfront BBQ buffet dinner with the fire dance show in the evening; great variety of food (including Japanese options) and entertaining atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for a beach resort with great views. Highly recommend Hotel Nikko Guam for a peaceful Guam getaway — we’d happily return!”"

"The hotel's location is one of the best on the island, surrounded by many restaurants and branded stores. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities and all toiletries provided, including a bidet. However, there were some small black flies, and the remote control for the sun shade needed repairing to work properly. Other than that, everything else was good. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of Korean side dishes, probably because there are many Korean guests."

"The newest hotel in Guam area as far as I’ve known! Guess it is nikko hotel franchise (they kinda got linked toghether like they are located right next to each other) so as you can expect their Japanese originated service and cleanness was on point! Breakfast was delish (not that many kinds tbh but quite satisfiable)"

"The room had an ocean view, and the infinity pool and sunset were beautiful. Although the hotel is a bit old, it was well-maintained and clean, so it wasn't an issue. The room lighting was a bit dim, which was slightly inconvenient. Shampoo, soap, and toothbrushes are provided, but there's no conditioner, so I recommend bringing your own. All the staff were friendly, and storing luggage before check-in and using the pool were smooth. They also lend towels at the pool, which is very convenient."

"Compassion and care when we needed it most* Our Guam to Manila flight on April 13 was cancelled due to the typhoon, leaving us stranded for 4 days. What could have been a stressful nightmare was made so much easier because of Gual Plaza Hotel. They generously (Front Desk Manager) gave us a discount for our extended stay and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, understanding, and attentive the entire time. You could really feel that they cared. Thank you, Guam Plaza team, for turning a difficult situation into a reminder that there’s still genuine hospitality and kindness in the world. "The room was quite spacious, and the hot water was really nice. Parking is free and there are plenty of spots available. The balcony view was absolutely fantastic. The location is great, close to the main road, though not directly by the sea. There are many shops and restaurants just a short walk away, offering plenty of options. I wouldn't recommend having breakfast at the hotel, as there are so many good places to eat nearby."

"The place is very beautiful and at walking distance from the airport (it took me 25 min. on foot). The room may have had partial view of the sea, but it was very enjoyable. The room is the size of an apartment and very luxurious with tub, shower, heated & multi-function toilet seats, kettle, big flat TV, air-con and don't remember what else. With the room comes the access to the gym and the swimming pool, which were nice, but not of the level of the rooms. Anyway it would be a pity to use them because Ypao beach is very near and it is simply wonderful with pristine, turquoise, calm and shallow waters thanks to the coral reef. The biggest downside of the place is the price: everything is really overpriced in Guam. Luckily I caught a good offer with huge discount, but otherwise it is crazy expensive. It lacks of affordable options and anyway with the same money in other places it would have been even better."
