Spa Hotels in Guam

After a long struggle, I finally chose this one because I saw everyone saying that this hotel's beach is its own, not a public beach. Another reason is that although this hotel is also quite expensive, it is still cheaper than those in the city center. It costs $35 + $1/piece of luggage to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Later, when we left the hotel, I asked the hotel front desk to help book a taxi to the airport one day in advance, and the hotel told me directly that it was $25 + $1/piece of luggage. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, it is very far north, but Guam is really not big, and the south is the living area. The activity area of ​​tourists is mainly in the north. It takes only 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center. The balcony of the room directly overlooks the sea. The hotel's own beach is very clean, not crowded, and very comfortable, but it is relatively shallow. If you want to swim, you have to walk a little further into the sea. The public beach in the city center is a little more crowded, but it's actually okay. There are not many people in the whole Guam, and there are not many tourists. The hotel room facilities are OK, and everything is available, but don't measure it by the standards of four or five stars. The sanitation is OK. The hotel will put environmentally friendly coffee cups in the room, which are given according to the number of people. You can take them away. Bottled water is not provided in the room. There are water purifiers and ice machines on each floor. You have to get drinking water yourself. There are glass bottles in the room for water, and of course you can get it yourself with a cup. The tap water cannot be drunk directly. There are restaurants in the hotel, and even a Chinese restaurant, but we always go out to eat. There are various restaurants on both sides of the road from the hotel to the city center, which is quite convenient. In general, in Guam, where everything is very expensive, this hotel has a good value for money.

The hotel condition was good and the location was really good. I liked the variety of breakfast and the friendly service ^^ The best thing was that there were Korean staff at the front desk, and the bathroom water pressure and drainage were really good ~ There was also a morning yoga program and a fitness center, so I used it. If I go to Guam again, I will definitely go to Dusit Thani.^^

The couple stayed in the holiday suite for 2 nights from the beginning of the year. I knew the hotel was aging, but the room was large, but the lights in the room were only a stand ２ and it was dark. I entered the hotel after check-in was 3 o'clock, but I was waiting for it to end because I had not finished cleaning yet. The next day, no matter how many times I came back from the outside, the room cleaning did not come, and I came after 7 o'clock in the evening, and I refused because I had already relaxed after dinner. I have stayed in various countries and hotels so far, but it was the first time that it was so late. The location of the hotel is good but a little disappointing.

Have stayed here many times for work. I just wanted to thank everyone at Hilton for taking such good care of us the past few weeks! I was here for work, and it was a bit unnerving being away from home and family during Typhoon Mawar… but I appreciate the hotel’s constant updates and adaptability! Everyone was working so hard to keep us safe during this very tough time, and it’s truly appreciated! Glad we came thru it okay, prayers for the recovery ahead, grateful to Hilton and all your staff. Update: Upon reading my negative feedback, I was put in touch with Ms. Sunny Cho and Mr. Hanmin Jang. Mr. Jang was very apologetic about our situation and offered to comp our meals at Oceano at a later date. It also came to light that Mr. Tsaio had originally given us an incorrect email and that was why I never received a response back. After we checked in for our reservation Mr. Jang and Ms. Cho made a point to come over to my husband and I to meet us in person and wish us a good dining experience. I also believe that they told our waiter to take extra good care of us on that evening because the service was excellent. My husband and I stayed at Tsubaki in April. Upon our check-in, we were informed by the manger, Tom Tsiao that all of the restaurants on premise were closed due to a recent outbreak of Covid, and our dinner reservations were subsequently cancelled with no notice. Mr. Tsaio offered us 2 options we could cancel our reservation and come back when Oceano was back up and running or we could keep our existing reservation and would receive a voucher to eat at Oceano free of charge, at a later date. We decided to go with the 2nd option, seeing it as a fair comp. In December we decided to use the voucher for our wedding anniversary dinner, to be informed that it did not exist. When we spoke with Mr. Tsaio directly he informed us he did not remember speaking to us and offering a voucher to eat at Oceano. No such voucher existed.

Nice waiters, all questions can be answered enthusiastically and handled actively. Comfortable room, not very new, but not old, clean, no noise, no smell. The beach is public, but very quiet, the sand is very fine, white and soft. Water and ice 🧊 are provided on fixed floors, not bottled water. Two sports water bottles are provided, which are just right for swimming. The breakfast buffet is very rich, and the dishes are adjusted every day. Dinner is ordered, and you can choose freely from several restaurants, which is also completely sufficient.

I’ve stayed here several times already. This time around was great as well as they accommodated my request for a high floor. There are some gripes with our room though. There was a nasty sticky red residue on the floor between our twin beds under the security safe tabletop overlooked by too service. Also our AC for our room was freezing and the room was hot. The TV remote was also dead. I tried calling reception via the room phone but could not reach. I had to call via my cell phone to reach them. They were able to have a tech come in and change the batteries. I also informed him at the time of the AC. He restarted the AC but to no avail after some time. They were able to relocate us to a room a few doors down. The new room was much better and up to expectations of what I’ve had the past few visits. This time however, we did not get the usual free 2 bottles of water in either room. Not sure if it is no longer included but something to think about on the next visit. Upon check out, one staff at the reception tried to charge me once more when I had already paid via Trip.com. She was also asking me why rent fee was cheaper than normal and I had to inform her about the trip.com reward discounts I had used. She was corrected by another staff and I was good to go after they refunded my security deposit. Overall, another pleasant experience but not without some gripes here and there. The pricing for the room and the service from staff and tech was very well worth it. Will definitely stay again. Hopefully a better experience next time.

The building, lobby, hallways, and rooms were all clean and neat, the showers, toilets, and other facilities were new, and the area around the bed was also clean, so I really liked it. However, the Wifi connection was unstable and frequently cut out during my three-day stay, so I think there is room for improvement in the Wifi environment. Apart from the Wifi, everything was good, including the service of the staff.

It's a little far from downtown Tumon, so it's a little inconvenient if you don't rent a car, but it's a great option for those who want to use the resort quietly and comfortably as if they were renting it :-) The staff were also very kind. After 2 nights at Riga Royal, I moved to Dusit Beach and stayed 2 more nights, but Dusit Beach felt too noisy. The infinity pool is pretty, and the ocean view from the room is also very good. I did not use dining like breakfast, and the room condition and facilities are a bit outdated. I didn't expect much, but it was much better than I thought. It wasn't too humid and it was moderately clean, which was nice. It's a good value for money hotel!
