Best Gosau Hotels

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. Breakfast & Dinner were amazingly delicious with great variety. The woman at the front desk was very attentive with super great attitude & service mind. I booked the wrong room type without mountain view and she recommended me to upgrade to another room type with little extra charge which made me very happy with the stunning mountain view. I’ll definitely stay here again if I had a chance to visit Gosau.

It is a very good restaurant. It is not far from the Geshao Lake. It is suitable for self-driving. The fish for dinner is very good. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it also meets the basic needs. Besides no fruit, the room facilities feel a certain number of years.

Self-checking hotels, when checking in smartly, you need to enter the reservation number and last name. I tried the number on the reservation several times but failed. My daughter, who is good at English, called to communicate with the real person. After that, he gave a set of numbers and successfully logged in. Then he jumped to fill in the guest information. After completing the information for the four people staying, he went to the room payment card payment screen. First, he used his husband’s credit card. , but the local number was already installed on my phone and I couldn't accept the SMS password, so I had to use my card again. It took almost half an hour to complete the room card and enter the apartment. We live in a two-bedroom apartment with a large space and elegant furnishings. There is also a balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen utensils. There is a supermarket nearby, so shopping is very convenient. After staying for two nights, we started preparing dinner. My children think the pasta from my hometown is particularly delicious. tasty. When leaving, you can scan the QR code to check out. What a special way to check in, and the room is consistent with the reservation😀

Only 6-7mins walk from the train station. Surrounded by the restaurants and cafes. Toilet and bedroom are clean. Only things to complain is the water pressure and no personal locker in room.

This hotel can only be said to be a typical B&B. This place is really deep in the mountains. We drove to P1 and parked before changing to the shuttle bus. However, although this place is small and well-equipped, don’t expect any service. When we arrived, we were greeted by an Asian girl. I will tell you about the facilities and equipment that I should tell you about, and I will also help you carry some luggage. It is tiring to drive three and a half hours to the hotel, but when you suddenly see an Asian face, you feel friendly instantly. You have to take the initiative to ask her how to turn on the heater. , otherwise it will be extremely cold at night and early in the morning, even in Austria in early October!

The hotel’s reception is just on the right after coming out from the boat station. The staff can speak really good english and our luggage was allowed to be keep for free before check in time which is really helpful for us to stroll around before check in time. There are 3 buildings of the hotel in Hallstatt which can be accessed by walking, unfortunately our room is not the main building which we need to walk around5-10mins. But the staff helped us to carry our heavy luggage to our room during check in and check out which is really great and I appreciate their service. The breakfast is also really tasty with assorted food! Overall a nice hotel if you’re planning to stay in Hallstatt!

There is a self-driving tour car to go more convenient, the environment is very quiet, very beautiful, but the road up the mountain is really twists and turns, relatively narrow, there are cars on the opposite side to give way, and even some locations are no fence, driving to compare Be careful, have to be relatively early in the evening when returning to the mountain, because too late there are no street lights, more breakfast starch, add frozen ham, only one egg is hot, more unaccustomed, because the weather is relatively cold, rooms and common areas Beautiful, the staff are very nice to do their best to assist, unfortunately there is not enough staff there only 2 people to be responsible, inevitably a little missing, the total experience is good, to the surrounding 3 lake areas are close

The location was fabulous. Close to the station, next to the lake. It even has a restaurant that has tables next to lake for eating. The owner is very friendly and shares details the are interesting for the travelers. The room is great! Except there’s a mirror and a kettle with tea coffee option, which is a must for the cold near the lake.

Very nice resort with spacious compound, and very convenient. We took a boat from the resort to Hallstatt, 10 euro per person. From Hallstatt, there is a public bus taking us right to the bus stop in front of the resort. However, I was quite disappointed with the wrong information in trip.com regarding the rooms. Intially I wanted to book a chalet with 2 rooms as we are a group of 2 couples. When i made the booking, trip.com website stated that 1 room can fit in max 2 persons. So naturally i had to book 2 rooms. When i arrived that the resort i was shocked to find out that I was misled to pay for 2 chalets with 4 rooms! We didn't use the other chalet of course. It was totally unfair that because of the wrong information in trip.com, we have to pay for 2 other rooms that we didn't need at all. I am asking for compensation from trip.com regarding my loss and it's been 4 days and i am still waiting to hear from them for a solution.
