"Overall, it’s a good budget hotel within walking distance to the train station. It is clean and breakfast changed every day. The WiFi is good and hot water is consistent.
Down the road is Stanley, renting motorbikes and on the opposite side is a laundromat.
Overall a good experience"

"so I just stayed at this hotel near Tugu Station in Jogjakarta and it was honestly really great. I mean, it's within walking distance to the station, which is super convenient. The rooms are clean and practical - not fancy, but they get the job done. The staff seems friendly and helpful too. Considering the price, it's actually really good value for money. I'm pretty tired now, but I think I'd stay here again if I came back to Jogjakarta. Yeah, 5 stars from me.
I also got to visit Prambanan and Borobudur while I was here, and wow... they're incredible. The temples are so breathtakingly beautiful, especially at sunrise. If you're planning to visit, definitely get there early to beat the crowds. The history and architecture are just amazing. Anyway, back to the hotel... it's a great base for exploring the city and surrounding temples. Would definitely recommend"

"Everything is good, just the water heater is lacking
Considering this is a family room, as I bring a baby, I really need hot water, to sterilize baby equipment. Also, there is no free tea/coffee in the room or even outside the room near the dispenser."

"Overall is good. Location is strategic. cleanliness - the room is clean and neat. the service is good. staff is helpful and good manners. the hotel provided me with handphone charger. the facilities is good. furniture is modern and comfortable. i also take breakfast package. the bread is marvelous. i never eat bread as delicious as at the hotel. so soft and delicious. the rice not so good however. i think need to change to more expensive rice. water is good. the landscape at the dining are is good and i loves it. what i do not like, the price is too expensive. should be a bit lower. but maybe because it is on weekend and peak season."

The hotel is very close to Malioboro (~5-10 minutes walk) and Tugu Station. It is very suitable if you want access to tourist attractions, shopping or culinary in the city center.

There are various room types including which can be for 4 people like bunk bed/loft room with starting price Rp200-400 thousand depending on type & season. For facilities and position, many guests feel this hotel is worth it. 
3. General Good Service and Hygiene

"The place is nice. I book with trip.com for 2 nights because of the high rating. The staff is friendly and accommodating so easy to request things such as ironing stuff. Location to malioboro street also just 5 minutes away, so easy to take a walk and spend your money to the variety of stores@toko there.
Checkin process was smooth and convenient. The toilet also got pipe for easy washing after use off the loo.
Unfortunately the room that i book is small and hardly a space to move freely. I’m on vacation and buy quite a lot of souvenirs, so it’s hard to do the packing conveniently. Booking the room without a window, actually means no view although there is a widow , but it doesn’t bother that much. So if you just wanna chill and explore malioboro area, this place will be “the place”.
The photo i share is not related to the room because forgot to snap picture. “Too busy arranging my staff” i guessed 😆. Most of the picture was during breakfast time. Lots of variety and i enjoy it."

I don't usually write comment, I am writing this long because I feel grateful to trip.com and the front office of the hotel. there is nothing I can find to complain about this hotel, if you insist maybe if that would be great if there is netflix on the TV, but really I am not complaining, cause I don't come to yogya all the way to watch netflix, it's just, maybe for some families who like to stay and relax in the hotel all day long.

Great Location: Riss Botel is within walking distance of many major tourist attractions, shops, and restaurants. This makes it easy for me to explore the city without having to use public transport.
A Unique Space: Staying in a bottle provides a different and interesting experience. My room is simple, but clean and comfortable. The view from the bottle deck is also amazing.
Friendly Atmosphere: Riss Botel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is a common area outside that is perfect for meeting other travelers. This is a great opportunity to interact and share experiences.
So far it's ok with a disinj room. And this hotel is suitable for those who want to sit in the center.

RRunyBunnyThis is my 1st time stay at El hotel recommend by my best friend,since she also stay there with family.
The hotel is atill new ,location and design are nice and strategist,the most i like is serounding by food ,shop and walking distance to famoust Malioboro street.
My memerorable moment are at the lounge cafe ,when i do surprised bday celebration for my father,the staff's are very fantastic and helpful with my last minute request they can deliver good and happy moment.
The breakfast spread also good specially when you dining on weekend the restaurant have javanese music (Gamelan) so make the atmosfer more local jogyakarta.
I will stay again on my future to visit Jogyakarta.
Welldone El Hotel please keep the good work and work out something with ur AC on the room ya specially towards balcony,the room must all cold 😉😊.

GGuest User1. There was no cupboard or hangers for clothes.
2. Soap dispensers in the toilet & the washeroom weren't working properly.
3. There is no handle on the toilet door ( just a small round steel piece) , hard to pull n open.
4. No room clean unless u call n request the reception.
Suggestions:
1. Need to include basic amenities as all other hotels do have, like : Cupboards, Iron Box, atleast 4 hangers, etc.
2. Hotel should have the card ( Please make or clean my room / Do Not Disturb ).

The owner is very nice and helped us solve travel problems such as transportation tickets, so that we can have a worry-free trip in Yogyakarta! In addition, the restaurant recommended by the owner is a well-known local restaurant with cheap and delicious Nepalese food!

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a good experience. The bed was comfortable—not too spacious, but enough. The staff was friendly, and the showers had warm water, which was nice.
Things they could improve:
• Deep cleaning the toilets, showers, and sinks, as there was some mold.
• Cleaning the sides of the beds—corners had mold, and the floor there wasn’t very clean.
• Cleaning the beds and rooms later in the day instead of so early. I was woken up multiple times way too early by housekeeping.
That said, for the price, I really can’t complain. Would return here!

GGuest UserI booked the hotel as It was nearby to the train station Tugu,
I did not know that the hotel just opened the day I checked in on October 23rd. So I was wondering why all the 5 stars reviews were given in advance.
The lobby looks good and check in was good. All the employees were kind, friendly and polite.
I got room on 1st floor , My room has a city view so I could not open the curtain if the lights are on.
The room I was staying in was a standard room, there was a water cooker and a water jar ( you need to take water from dispenser next to the lift )
the AC was not on yet , so it was very hot when I entered the room. everything looked clean except for the mirrors, which were a bit dirty.
The room is not soundproof, because I could hear a child crying from nextdoor and I could hear some noise from the hall.
The bathroom is spacious and nicely arranged (but it seems unhandy as there is no place where you could hang your towels after they were used and there were no places to plug in your hairdryer) There was some problems with the hot water. I contacted the hotel and someone came twice to fix it but in the end there still was no hot water, lukewarm water was running for minute and then there was cold water again.
The internet connection was sometimes unstable.
