"A great, friendly welcome at reception when I arrived.
Ground floor rooms only, so no stairs to worry about. The room was clean and very quiet with comfortable beds and a lovely shower room, plus a TV.
The food was plentiful and cooked very well. It was nice and hot when it arrived, and in no way expensive.
A great stay, thank you."
"The Hotels lovely , the room was comfortable and nicely decorated . Negatives were we had a squeaky bed frame and the you could hear the occupant’s above us walking back and forward back and forward all night. The room would benefit from a king size bed breakfast was great English breakfast was a bit sparse with only one sausage and bacon , but there was continental breakfast available , eggs Benedict were lovely and beautiful views of the garden from the conservatory"

This charming barn conversion with a lovely combination of stone and brickwork, has recently been fully refurbished. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the picturesque village of Lamesley Pastures, situated on the outskirts of the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The best of both worlds with ease of access to stunning countryside and also only a mile from the A1. Sleeping four this luxurious barn is an excellent choice for couples or families seeking a peaceful retreat.Dogs are welcome but they must not be allowed on the sofas or on beds. There is also a strict dogs on leads policy at all times outside even in the properties large garden area . The garden is not enclosed and is more like a village green. There are other dogs around and horses, wildlife so we must insist they are kept on leads at all times. Very Good
AAlex1111111111Best bed ever! Very comfortable linens, mattress and pillows! Towels were a bit old but very clean!
The swimming pool is just good… kind of cold but a little warm, but not enough! So it is not comfortable being on the jacuzzi at all… and every 5/7 minutes, have to get out of the water to restart the engine…
Saunas and spa were really good!
Breakfast was very good with lots of varieties that we don’t see often in hotel in the UK. Fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, breads and all the hot british breakfast dishes.
Near a lot of restaurants and shopping locations
Would be back again to this same place
GGuest UserStayed here many times with work. Excellent location, super friendly staff and amazingly clean. Great value for money. Restaurant inside and bar which is a little expensive for what it is but there is a pub and carvery across the road (2mins walk).
Parking is free and there is always loads of it. The hotel itself is on a bit of a retail park which can get busy at times but I’ve never struggled to park and I’ve stayed here at least 40 nights since April.
I don’t write reviews to be fair. But credit where it is due.
JjiahaoyuAlthough I stayed for one night, the overall experience was good. The environment was quiet, the front desk service was very friendly and kind, the parking and transportation were very convenient, and the breakfast in the morning was very rich and delicious. Next time I go to Newcastle, I will choose this hotel
GGuest UserNice hotel with parking (extra at £5 per day)
Rooms were cold so had to put heater on all night which wasn't a problem. Staff very friendly. We stayed on floor 6 top floor room 602 and would definitely consider staying again.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel twice by accident because the Trip.com key button did not work. They were very rude and condescending when explaining to me that I needed to go back to the third-party agent. The latter then told me to go back to the hotel and I just went from one side to the other. it was just an accident I don’t know why they were so insistent in not refunding me.
JJai KingstonI was terrified to use the communal toilet as a man was raving up and down the corridors at night. Despite 6 people complaining, he was not removed by police until early morning. Also, the cleaning staff were very loud at 08.30 Sunday morning disturbing my sleep further. It was a terrible stay
the room, corridors & reception were clean and tidy. The bathroom a little smell of damp and strange wall painting but very clean. I didn't use the shower as I wanted to leave ASAP.
