Best Fish Camp Hotels

We stayed here because of its proximity to Yosemite. It was nice being 5-7 mins from the entrance to the park. We stayed in a cottage next to the pizzeria. Had more than a few spiders in our cottage which sort of freaked out the kids but I dispatched of them all as discreetly as possible and never saw any more. The room itself was not anything to write home about, but I can appreciate a nice bed and nice pillows. Ours had a high ceiling which I liked. There was a gas fireplace which would provide plenty of heat if we had needed any. Some of the property was under construction so we did not have access to all the amenities but the pool area was very nice with a full bar next to it. The restaurant was good, and they had a game room (not an arcade) that is more than sufficient to entertain your kids for a at least 15 mins. They have a lot to do there, like archery lessons, but we simply didn’t have the time. If you are planning a vacation to Yosemite but don’t exactly want to stay in the park itself, this is a terrific resort-feel within shouting distance of the Fish Camp entrance. 

The hotel is in the forest, it feels better

It takes 40 minutes to drive from the gorge and a few minutes drive from the town. However, I like the hotel's environment and retro decoration style. Unfortunately, I didn't catch up with the beautiful snow scene when I stayed. The room size is small and the facilities are simple, but the bathroom is more special and has a double vanity. Breakfast can basically be ignored~

No breakfast, the bed is very large and comfortable, the house facing the valley, the view is very good, there are many places to eat in the nearby two miles, there is a parking lot, just stop, the location is next to the 41st road.

We came out of Yosemite Valley and planned to go to the giant sequoia forest here the next day. The cabin was very nice and clean. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. We heated up the pizza ourselves. The surroundings are very quiet. You can see the Milky Way and many stars at night. When you get up in the morning, you hike around for a while. The atmosphere in the fields is very strong. On the way to check in, I took a sidetrack at night and went back to find the place. However, it was very convenient to check in and check out.

Clean, bright, with casual chairs and tables at the back, sitting there in the evening, enjoying the beauty of the forest, and the sunset, is unforgettable.

The room was clean and tidy, parking was convenient, and there were several restaurants and 7-11 very close to the town. It took half an hour to drive to Yosemite, and there were some small trails in between, but you should avoid driving at night, as the street lights are dim and the locals drive very fast, and the headlights are very dazzling.

Arrived after dinner, service was very good, like the staff asked if I would like level 1 or 3. Also good initiative to have the carpark lot brightly litted up and there was a front parking space for unloading. Only thing is need to pay extra $10 for parking.

The hotel is located near Yosemite, in a small village, with hotels on both sides. When checking in at Hampton, I was told that the kind bed room I booked was sold out, and there was only a queen bed. I thought it was too late, so I stayed there. Later, they said the curtains were broken, so they used bed sheets to hang. This was unacceptable. The Fairfield next to the hotel is a sister hotel, and they passed me there. When I checked in at that hotel, they charged me again. I had to negotiate with Ctrip and the hotel, and they refunded me after about a week. Because we arrived late, most restaurants were closed, and the only Denny’s was open until 10 o’clock, so I went there to fill my stomach.
