Family friendly Hotels in Sokcho-si

It was the best accommodation, clean, spacious, good location, good view and cheap.

I went with my 5th grader who wanted to go to Sokcho. The swimming pool was important. It was good. They didn't come out and played for 4 hours in the morning. The breakfast doesn't have many dishes, so don't expect too much. You have to clean up yourself.ㅠ The hotel is clean~ They give you towels right away if you ask. It's close to Sokcho Market and downtown. I used to live in the area, so I took the bus and taxi, and I don't have a car. There are many restaurants in front of the hotel, so don't worry, they deliver.

Resort is constructed to offer panoramic vistas to guests directly from their room window & balcony. - Resort has everything needed for a familiy retreat. They have a large indoor water park(Sokcho Water Park), 5+ restaurants including one that you can do K-BBQ(Natural Soul Kitchen), large and fun kid’s cafe (Lala Kids Adventure), direct access to East Sea coast and the best Korean seafood shops are within uber delivery distance. They even have a mini golf place. - Lotte Resort Sokcho also offers various family oriented programs that I recommend you check out. We chartered a catamaran yatch and cruised the East Sea, went to a local strawberry farm and harvested a couple baskets, tried Lotte’s cookie house making program which are all available through the resort. WHEN: May 2023 WHO: Family of 3, including a 17 month old daughter WHAT ROOM: Character Suite Room We visited the Lotte Resort Sokcho as a family retreat in May with our 17 month old daughter. The Resort was our top choice because it had all the facilities that one would want one visiting a beach coast resort, and at the same time very family friendly as they provided baby amenities such as baby food, bed, moisturizer etc. We stayed at the Character Suite room, which is a spacious room that features a Lotte themed slide, hide&seek spots and children’s restroom. Our daughter had so much fun in the room - she rode the slide a gazillion times and played hide and seek with us. My wife liked the fact that the room had a good combination of contemporary designs and playful childrens’ furniture, all with safety in mind. Stay at the Lotte Resort was also memorable as we took advantage of the many facilities. On the first day, we went to the indoor Water Park which offered wave riding, a large lazy river, water slides of all sizes and a jacuzzi for relaxing. We headed to the BBQ restaurant (Natural Soul Kitchen) at dinner to charge up and had some fun cooking lobster, beef, pork and lamb racks. The restaurant also offered many Korean dishes that goes well with the BBQ we had ample choice. After a good rest in our beach view room, we headed up to R.9PUP, a pub on the 9th floor as the name suggests. The pub offers a wide range of Korean local brewery at a scenic view of the coastal beach. It was even better as the pub had a family friendly atmosphere where the young ones are invited to play the dart and chill on the bean bags on the terrace. All in all, this is a great one-stop resort that offers great view, nature, variety of dining options, all at the same time running large scale facilities such as the Sokcho Water Park. I definitely look forward to visiting again and with comfortably recommend to families looking for a good time toget

After comparing all other booking channels, I booked through Trip.com because it was the cheapest. I was satisfied with the price. I heard that it hasn't received any star ratings yet, but it seems to be at least 4 stars. The ocean view is wide enough for a deluxe king, and the jacuzzi is especially big enough for two people. The ocean is not visible at night, but you can enjoy it very leisurely during the day. If you want to enjoy the ocean view, check in early and enjoy it on the sofa until the sun sets!! Very satisfied.

It's the day I write a review~!!!!! I wanted to meet the manager and say hello, but in March, I had to cancel on the same day at Agoda, but Agoda said it was not allowed due to policy, so I almost lost 150,000 won... I was really, really upset, but fortunately Sokcho I-Park processed a refund, so I was sorry for no reason. Still, I remember feeling good about it~!!!! Then, in April, I went to the big room with my brother's family and had a really delicious breakfast~!! This May, I went on a trip with my boyfriend and had a great time. There is a lot of talk about the elevator problem, but I understand the situation of the hotel as I go to the busy area around Sokcho... I think there is nothing I can do and if I go to Sokcho, I will always use it~!!! I also preached to people in Jeji through Sokcho I-Park~!! I really don't want to brag about this place, but it's very clean for the price, the refrigerator is big, the bed is clean, the view is good, and the biggest advantage is that the bathroom is as good as a Shilla Hotel~!!!! TMI, you must eat breakfast~!!!! I highly recommend the bibimbap ㅠㅠ!!!!!! Use the red pepper paste seasoning ㅠㅠ The staff are all very friendly, and sometimes the customers are not abusive... but abusive... It makes me frown... It's an extreme job... ㅠㅠ I can't believe it. It was long. I have only good memories of the I-Park Suites and Very Berry Suites Hotel~!!!!!!! After summer is over, I will go and visit again in the fall. Be happy and stay healthy haha. After using Waterpia, it snowed a lot, so I made a quick reservation. I hadn't even thought about it, but it was clean and comfortable. Non-face-to-face check-out was also convenient. The location is good and the amenities are good, so I used it well. It suddenly snowed, so the snowy scenery was really great. It was awesome!

Was really looking forward to my stay at the Kensington Hotel Seorak. But when I pay $263AU / night I have a certain expectation that a 4 star hotel will live up to the hype. The service at the check-in desk and in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel itself exudes 'history' and it was interesting spending time looking at the library, hallways and various displays on offer. The menus were adequate for our stay and we spent 29000KRW on the chicken and beer offer on the first night and the steak and wine (120000KRW) on the second night. Breakfasts were 29000KRW/pp or 10% off if you book at check-in were also value for money. However several aspects let the hotel down. Hot water was hard to get - I tried for an afternoon shower and again at midnight with no luck. Larger hotels in Korea tend to have central control over the air conditioning, so if you like a cool room you'll be out of luck by October?? Even having the small window open, and turning of the 'air conditioning, the room was stuffy. Having found a laundry bag and order form I was told that the hotel no longer offered that service. Disappointing. The towels were worn / frayed on the edges (they've passed their useabe date) and though the hotel room we were in had a great view the windows were so grubby it was hard to really enjoy the view. While I appreciate COVID has had an impact on the hotel industry generally, I'm pretty certain that the Kensington, with its views and proximity to Seoraksan, faired better than most. While I would stay here again I would like to think that for prime pricing the Kensington could up its game and ensure that such small issues were addressed.

Close to the Express Bus Terminal and stops in Naksansa and Seoraksan. The room has a kettle, microwave, refrigerator. Of the minuses - the shower is over the toilet, but I got used to it, and the towels are too small. Thick curtains, a floor-to-ceiling window with an insect screen, a warm blanket, a view of the sea - everything is great. Nearby mini-stores, a little further a supermarket.

Some of the rooms seem to have been renovated. It was much cleaner and better than the rooms I saw in the review photos. The staff also kindly guided me. However, it seems that it is not managed in many parts of the room, but if you think about the price, it is enough to go beyond. It's convenient to buy things that are insufficient in the convenience store on the first floor, and the underground amenities seem to be only operated in the evening, but there are not many facilities, but it's just worth using. The resort itself is old, so it is generally aging and lacks service, but some rooms are renovated and good for cost performance.
