Family friendly Hotels in Tiberias

The Leonardo Club hotel was well located and I was pleased to have a great view of the Sea of Galilee from my window. The food was in plentiful supply and there was a very good variety including things for vegans and vegetarians. The room was comfortable and clean. Service was good although not outstanding as had to ask for my room to be cleaned when it had not been done by 3 pm. Facilities on offer are good for families.

The Tiberia hotel is perfect for location ,food and facilities and we enjoy stayed there. GBU

The staff experience started with a long, patient and helpful call to reception when we booked our weekend; and continued throughout the weekend. The hotel is set away from the main hotel area by the lake and is about a 20 minute walk down to the shore. The rooms are a large size and are both clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of hots food and salads. We also enjoyed the swimming pool are in the late afternoon. The history of the hotel is an interesting read.

We booked 2 nights in the oldest building directly from their website. Emailed a few times ahead of our stay with questions - management was very detailed in their replies. Comfortable, quiet lodging with excellent air conditioning. Free on-site parking for our rental car. Our stay included breakfast and dinner. The dinner spread is excellent! Staff is super friendly & helpful, especially Daniella, Oscar and the front desk managers and porters. The resort pool is a gem. We appreciated how it stays open until 7pm as we enjoyed a full hour just floating in it (after a long and thrilling day of driving around the entire lake visiting Holy Land and Golan spots). The gardens/grounds are just exquisite. I'm so glad we had time each evening to relax and enjoy The Scots Hotel. Worth it!

The hotel is on the side of the road, but the doorway is not on the side of the road. You need to drive around to the back. Free parking is convenient. The hotel reception desk is quite good overall, check-in and check-out are fast. The day of check-in was the Sabbath, and the hotel's dinner and breakfast were booked. It was relatively rich in Israel, and the taste was OK. Finally, there was no need to eat bread every day. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The disadvantage is that the twin room bed is relatively small, a small bed about 8 cm wide. The glass in the shower room is too small to block the bath water.

Please be careful when booking hotels in Israel: We booked 2 deluxe double rooms, but only one person’s name was written in each room. I didn’t expect the hotel front desk to say that if there are 2 people staying, you have to pay an extra room rate. Even couples have to do this. We explain that when booking on the Ctrip platform in China, if you write one person’s name in a double room, you can accommodate 2 people, and other countries can also accommodate it. In addition, there is no note on the platform that the double room must write 2 people’s names. The hotel did not accept the explanation at all, saying that this is an Israeli regulation and must be followed. We called Ctrip, and the customer service attitude is very good. We have been trying to communicate with the hotel and help us think of various solutions, but the hotel has a tough attitude. If you want to stay in the room for one more person, you have to pay an additional fee of 1100 yuan. Considering that we checked in late, every day We could offer a discount of 300 yuan for each room, but we refused. When the stalemate persisted, Ctrip suggested that we make up the difference of 1,600 yuan to live in. Afterwards, they negotiated with the third party in charge of hotel reservations abroad, and then helped us apply for a refund of part of the fee. When I returned to Shanghai, I received a message from Ctrip. A total of 900 yuan was refunded, which is equivalent to 350 yuan for each room. Ctrip is still awesome, praise! The room facilities are relatively old, and it is good to have a balcony with a view of the sea, but for those of us who live in late and leave early in the morning, it does not make much sense to upgrade to a sea view room.

Lake Maison is located on the shore of Lake Galilee in Tiberas. From Tel Aviv to Tiberias: At the Azrieli Center (a large shopping mall next to the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center) bus station in the center of Tel Aviv (no need to cross the sky bridge, just on the road on the side of the shopping center), take the 836 bus, usually There are green buses and some yellow minibuses that may be individual. From Tiberias Central Station to Maison Lake Chalet: Because Tiberias are mostly mountain roads, if Google shows that it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the central station to the chalet, you can walk to the hotel, otherwise it is recommended to take a taxi (the mountain road is steep and the hotel number is hard to find). Store your luggage first (check in at 3 pm, it is not recommended to arrive too early, you can arrive around 2-3 o'clock). Lake Maison is actually a homestay, the advantage is that it is close to Central Station and Galilee is close to the sea, and the landlord is enthusiastic and quick to reply (short message). What needs to be reminded is that you need to bring your own slippers, toothpaste/toothbrush, shower gel and other daily necessities. Accommodation conditions are relatively simple.
