The housekeeper helped us upgrade the room. The room is very large, with a tatami area for making tea and having afternoon tea, and a balcony. The balcony looks out to the back garden of the homestay, a Chongxi Mandao where you can ride a bike, which is very suitable for taking your dog for a stroll!
Facilities: All items in the room are free to use, including tea bags, handmade biscuits, Wuyishan spring water, cola sparkling water, welcome fruits, coffee. I drove all the time and didn't eat at noon. I was full after eating and drinking in the room. Hahaha.
Hygiene: Even people with mysophobia think it is very clean. There is no dust on the tatami, and you can lie down freely. The same is true for bath towels and towels, and the bed quilts.
Environment: There is an underground parking lot for self-driving parking. There are many places to eat nearby, and you can also order takeout. There is a place to walk the dog outside the homestay, and the scenery is also good.
Service: The ladies are all very good. I just hope that if the dog cannot enter the restaurant in the future, I can inform you in advance, and there will be a solution, such as eating breakfast outdoors or delivering breakfast to the room. When we went downstairs for breakfast, we were told that ”pets are not allowed into the restaurant and we cannot sit outdoors.” It was very embarrassing at the time, but luckily there was a place around a fireplace outside the back of the restaurant, so we cooked and ate there.

The hotel service is very good. The front desk housekeeper Shasha is very enthusiastic. She helped me carry my luggage and patiently recommended nearby delicacies. When I came back at night, she even baked sweet potatoes for me. It was warm and thoughtful, making me feel like I was back home. The hotel has a cooperation with a teahouse, and you can taste tea directly in the yard. The room is large and comfortable to live in. The whole yard is also very warm. This hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at.
The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.

My family and I checked into your hotel from 4/5 to 4/7. When we got off the hotel, the security guard helped open the door. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk gave our children free breakfast. She also introduced us to a half-day tour. Room 8310 is extra large, with a living room and a tea room. You can see Dawangfeng. Thank you for your hard work to the lady cleaning the room...

The room facilities and decoration are similar to those of a general budget hotel that costs more than 100 yuan. Maybe the price/performance ratio of Wuyishan Hotel is just like this. The package I bought only gave me two bags of tea bags, which are similar to tea bags. Generally, hotels don't promote the coffee and tea bags as valuable. I asked the front desk and they said it was not enough, so they gave me two more bags. However, the quality of this hotel is far behind that of hotels that cost 300 or 400 yuan. A river flows in front and rear of the hotel, nice and quiet. A quaint village is located which you can take a stroll in if you wanna see village life. Very nice picturesque area with an old bridge, great for sunrise pics.
Food is good. Staff very friendly. Willing to recommend restaurants to eat in. Also recommended to take the bamboo raft ride down the 9 bend stream at wuyi shan nature park. Also recommended the Impressions Dahongbao live show, not to be missed.
Hotel General Manager, Angie, helped us a lot. As we barely speak Mandarin, she speaks English and helped us make bookings, and speak to the locals via phone when we encountered problems communicating. She recommended places that we would not have thought of and even suggested hotels in Xiamen for our next stop in our itinerary, and we chose the Holiday Inn next to the airport. Also suggested.places in other provinces we should go in our next trip to China.

GGuest UserWe went to Wuyishan hoping to get a true tea experience and this was absolutely incredible. The location is truly hidden away amidst tea fields (make sure the owner can contact you before the stay to arrange a pick up). The house is beautifully renovated with personal touches from the owner - both traditional and modern. We had a wonderful time getting to know the owner and their friends over many rounds of top quality tea, and home style family meals. The owners went above and beyond to show us the region and explain the intricacies of tea making and tea drinking with us. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and would highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe decoration in the hotel in Star Village is pretty good, but the sanitary conditions in the room are very average, and the towels are very old and hard. The toilet is also dirty, and there is a contact lens thrown away by other guests by the sink, which shows that it has not been cleaned carefully. There is no TV set-top box in the room, and the TV remote control has no batteries. I went to the front desk to ask, and the answer was broken, so I went to repair it. There is no compensation of any kind. The room smelled musty as soon as we entered, and it was inconvenient to eat and transport nearby. It is just to get closer by taking the bamboo raft in the morning. After all, I am dragging the children and I am afraid that I will not be able to get up. For the other two days, I lived in Sangu Resort, which made my life much more convenient.

GGuest UserThis was one of the best hotels. The staff was really welcoming and super helpful. He helped me with all the info I needed to go to the park and helped me buy tickets for the night show. The room was very clean, the bed was soft. The location is really close to the park. I would stay here again… sometimes its hard being a foreigner and not speaking the language, but he made me feel welcome and went out of his way to help me. Thanks again. 😊😊😊
