Family-friendly Hotels in Wuxi

Old oriental style hotel witha rich history. Look majestic and grand on the outside. (Interior of hotel in many nooks n corners are poorly maintained) Room service is superb. Super comfortable n firm bed. Located right within 太湖 (taihu lake) so you can jog/walk around the beautiful lake and giant ferris wheel in the morning and take in the fresh air. With outdoor pool n gym. Hotel food is mainly big fancy chinese restaurants n buffet. No casual dining . No western selection except the high tea cafe which serves some sandwiches and pasta. Hotel can organise ferry trip to turtlehead island

I stayed at Wuxi Donghu Hotel on the second day of the Chinese New Year. The concierge was warm, polite and considerate, making us feel at home. The front desk lady was also very nice. Seeing that I was with my children, she told me that the hotel would have a fireworks show at 7:30 pm, and gave me a room with a C-position balcony, where we could watch the fireworks show. The food at Qichangxuan Chinese Restaurant was also delicious. Due to the weather, I stayed in the original room for another night. I went to Yuantouzhu for sightseeing on the third day.

Regarding the room, I have to give it a big thumbs up! The room is spacious, bright, well-equipped, and super clean! Especially the bed, with moderate softness and hardness, which allowed me to sleep until dawn. Moreover, the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room allow you to enjoy the beautiful scenery, which is great! The hotel's service is also first-class. The front desk employee Xiao Chen is warm and thoughtful, making me feel like I'm at home. The hotel breakfast recommended by Xiao Chen is rich in variety and delicious, making me look forward to the morning. The underground garage is very large and has many municipal charging spaces, making it very convenient for drivers who drive trams to charge. In general, Wuxi Ruiting Xijiao Hotel is a very recommended hotel. It is a good choice whether it is a business trip or a family vacation. If you have the opportunity to come to Wuxi, you must come here to experience it!

We loved the look and location of the hotel and the views of here breathtaking, the only negative comment I have is that it did not have air con, have never been in a 5 star hotel without aircon and it was so hot during the night. Otherwise I can not stop praising this hotel and recommend it to anyone that want to be close to a good mall the subway and the park.

The hotel has an elegant environment, is next to the wetland park, has nice scenery, spacious and comfortable rooms, and fast check-in. The lobby manager Wang Zhongxiang is enthusiastic in service, upgraded the room and gave a small New Year gift. Overall, I am satisfied and it is a hotel worth recommending.

The front desk upgraded our room for free, and the service was thoughtful, meeting our requirements for room location. The cleaning staff also cleaned very hard. I really like the smell of the hotel shower gel, so the cleaning lady gave me a bottle as a souvenir! The stay experience was great.

I came to Wuxi to participate in the Taihu Lake Play Valley Music Festival. I felt that the hotel was great and I slept very comfortably. It should have been a large shopping mall before. On the first day, I also encountered a cat with a goldfish that escaped quickly. 80% of them were thieves and thieves. In addition, it is not very good to say that the place should be the location of the gas station in the industrial area. The restaurant is very close. You can order takeaway. The takeaway robot is very convenient. After arriving, the seat inside will ring the bell. Remind, open, take out, close. Overall, really satisfied! I live in three bowls with an average price of less than 400, and the price is very high!

Cleanliness: Decent. The floor still felt a little dusty and dirty. The bed sheet has afew strands of hair. Otherwise, the room is relatively clean Location: It’s is two metro stops from the Wuxi railway station and a few stops from afew famous places in Wuxi. The location is great. However, if you are carrying a large luggage, do not follow blindly the map app. Exit 14 from 三阳广场 (Sanyang plaza) metro is the closest. However, there will be a flight of stairs to climb if the escalator is not working. However, it is only 1/3 of the flight of stairs to climb compared to exit 19B. If you do not want to climb stairs, I recommend going through exit 20A and come out of Suning Plaza Mall and cross diagonally to 锡上MoMo mall where the hotel is. The escalator at exit 20A is usually working. Service: We arrived earlier than the check in timing. Our original room wasn’t ready so they upgraded us to the one on a higher level from level 24 to 54. They kindly told us where the amenities are. They even helped to bring our luggage from our room to their office to help us store as we were going to visit another street during the checkout time before coming back. Amenities: The bed was too hard and the pillow is too soft, making it difficult for both of us to sleep. The TV was quite big and there is vip subscription for some Chinese streaming apps which allows my friend to watch her favourite drama series. There is a washing machine which has a dryer function that allows us to wash and dry our clothes within a day. The room is a smart room however it takes a while to get used to the control. Once you are used to it, it makes things more convenient. Overall, I generally enjoyed my stay with my friend even though it was only for a night. If the bed and cleanliness could be improved, I think it would be perfect.

overall experience was great. wonderful service provided by the receptionist (xiaoyang) and also the hotel janitor for helping me not only clean my room but also did laundry service without me asking 👍 hotel is clean and aesthetics looks good modern futuristic look. like the fact that the toilet and showers were separated to prevent the toilet from getting wet. one area which i think can be improve is to have fridge in the room.

The hotel is in a good location, only a ten-minute walk from the ancient capital of Meili, and parking is also convenient. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is being renovated, and the elevator has to go to the second floor. It feels a bit inconvenient, but it doesn't matter. The hotel has specially arranged staff to help you send your luggage to the second floor. Isn't it very considerate?
