"On a spontaneous trip, I unexpectedly discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse. The location is superb, just a three-minute walk to Huangwan Tourist Center. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. For someone who frequently travels for business, the comfort of the bedding is immediately noticeable. Good bedding leads to good rest, which is essential for enjoying the next day's adventures. The breakfast selection was rich, and although it was a set menu, the variety was thoughtfully put together. Some guests mentioned the portions were so generous they couldn't finish it all, and I even took some eggs and yogurt to eat on the go. The soy milk at breakfast was absolutely amazing! The owner said it's freshly ground every morning, which explains its delicate and silky smooth texture. With all these fantastic qualities, the handsome owner offering complimentary pickup and drop-off at the high-speed rail station almost feels like an afterthought, hahaha! Businesses that are thoughtful and high-quality truly deserve recognition! Oh, and before I left, I also bought their 'Piao Xue' jasmine tea – it tastes great and isn't expensive, perfect for both gifts and personal enjoyment!"

The hot spring is open-air and does not provide much privacy, so it was not very comfortable to use. The breakfast selection is simple but still nice and healthy, with items such as buns, potatoes, soya milk, and vegetables. The location is good and within walking distance to Baoguo Temple. The Emeishan Baoguo Temple bus station, which is the pickup point for sightseeing buses, is about a 5-minute drive away. However, walking there is not very convenient as there is only a road and no proper pedestrian walkway."

"The hotel's ambiance is impressive, especially the grand lobby. The bed in my lake-view room on the second floor was incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the shimmering lake was truly therapeutic. The location is very convenient, about 800 meters from the Baoguo Temple bus station, which was perfect for my trip up the mountain the next day. For breakfast, I highly recommend the Mianyang rice noodles; they were delicious. Outside the lobby, there's an outdoor terrace with a telescope. I was thrilled to spot the Puxian Bodhisattva statue on the opposite mountain on my first day! Overall, I had a great experience. This hotel is a fantastic choice for those who appreciate good surroundings and plan to visit the mountain the next day. The service was excellent. The front desk staff arranged a wonderful room for me, and the concierge's luggage storage service was also very good."

Upon check-in, we were assigned a dedicated butler who patiently explained all the activities and even sent thoughtful reminders and greetings. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, and they even offered 7 types of specialty pillows to choose from. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted excellent. The mineral hot spring in the forest had clear and comfortable water, and the atmosphere at night was perfect for photos. The hotel also has a gym. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Baoguo Temple, making travel easy. The air in the forest is fresh and has high oxygen content, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay. Highly recommended!"

"A hotel that truly understands its guests. I rarely leave reviews for hotels or B&Bs I book, but this one deeply moved me. After staying here, we truly believe it's a hotel with warmth that understands its guests: 1. Unlike other high-end hotels, there's no arrogance here. The lobby space is dedicated to guests, and the front desk isn't large but perfectly functional. The lobby features a kids' play area, a relaxing tea room, and very affordable arcade games. It's also pet-friendly (for those who worry guests might find pets dirty, are humans really cleaner? Or less prone to illness?). 2. Most importantly, the environment is excellent – clean and hygienic, showing a real responsibility to guests. The facilities are comprehensive, and the water in the heated swimming pool is changed entirely every day. 3. The detailed design is fantastic. It features smart controls; when you select 'sleep mode,' the annoying light from the switch panel also turns off, helping you sleep better. And surprisingly, the electric kettle can keep water warm continuously!"

The rooms were excellent—very comfortable, clean, spacious, and well maintained—but what really made this hotel special was the incredible level of hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel prepared a special welcome dinner for us, and they also organized a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. They went far beyond what we normally expect from a hotel. Transportation was arranged for us to different tourist attractions, as well as to train and bus stations, making it extremely easy to explore the area. The staff also helped us plan our excursions to the different mountains nearby, giving us recommendations and making sure we were properly prepared. For our excursions, they even prepared lunch boxes with food and provided shoe covers, rain protection, umbrellas, and everything else we might need depending on the weather. These small details made a huge difference and allowed us to simply enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics. What impressed us the most was how attentive, kind, and proactive the entire staff was. They didn't just provide accommodation—they genuinely cared about making our whole trip as comfortable, easy, and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed something, they were ready to help, often anticipating what we might need before we even asked. The combination of excellent rooms, outstanding service, transportation, excursion assistance, thoughtful meals, and personal attention made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences of our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel, especially to anyone planning to explore the mountains and attractions in the area. The rooms are spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, offering a high level of comfort. The public hot spring area has a beautiful environment, perfect for relaxing after a hike. The staff are attentive and polite, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, ideal for couples looking to relax. Playing in the river by the hotel in summer would be wonderful. I was very satisfied with my stay this time, and if I return to Emei Mountain, I would definitely choose this hotel again."

"As soon as I saw the Banyan Tree Emei Mountain open, I booked a stay. From check-in to check-out, the experience was fantastic! Our driver, Harry, was waiting for us at the station with a pick-up sign and told us about local delicacies on the way. The hotel is very close to the high-speed train station, and upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us. The person who checked us in was Lola, our butler, with whom I had been in contact before. Since I was traveling with my parents, Lola thoughtfully upgraded our room, added a sofa bed, and even arranged for an extra breakfast. Before our trip, she also helpfully provided a lot of information about climbing Mount Emei. Rose at the front desk was also very helpful during our stay. My dad said the service at this hotel was excellent! 😄 Speaking of the hotel itself, it's nestled in the mountains with beautiful surroundings. This season, the osmanthus flowers are blooming, filling the air with a sweet fragrance. There's a quiet and serene bamboo forest path. The facilities are new, and both the room and balcony are very spacious. I especially loved the hot tub on the balcony, which I used every evening. The room also came equipped with a yoga mat, yoga ball, and resistance bands – very well-stocked. I'm extremely satisfied with this stay!"
